Karen Starring wanted to hurt someone. Karen Starring needed to hurt someone.

Yet today, thanks to the higher-ups, she'd be deprived of just that.

The amazons massacre at the hands of six deadly women before the masses was still fresh in near enough every fans mind, so much so that a conference of sorts had been called between Karen and the instigator of said beat down. Alaina Sanders.

Karen wanted to do nothing else except near break the elder amazons neck, but with security at the level it was this day, she likely couldn't even get close. Tables and chairs set out, with cameras all pointed at the front of the LAW conference room, Karen and Alaina would make their entrances at similar times via opposing entrances, with both frames promptly making their way to opposing ends of that long table.

"Thank you, thank you all for attending..." Muttered a spokesman and PR rep for LAW, whom had taken to the podium in the centre to try and reign in what was surely going to be quite a promotional event.

"The following event is nothing more than a Q and A from you lovely ladies and gentlemen, in anticipation of the upcoming grudge match between one Karen Starring, and one Alaina Sanders. As discussed prior, all of your questions shall be delivered in strict order, but can be given to either of these lovely women or to both. Now, let us begin..."

A motion from the spokesman would signal to the first whom stood in the crowd, already equipped with a microphone and a badge that suggested they represented a local wrestling production company.

Normally for something like this Alaina dressed up to look the part. She wore a suit when she and her old foe Dana Ashford had a sit down interview. However Karen and Dana were different. As fiercely as Alaina fought Dana inside the ring there was a mutual respect present, and a downright friendly vibe between the women outside the ring.

There was none of that between Alaina and Karen, instead it was pure aggression, nothing but hatred. Alaina appeared soon after, all smiles as she waved to the crowd, striking a quick pinup girl pose as she came out along with Karen. The crowd cheered and Alaina was pretty sure she carried the majority of the fan base over her heel counterpart.

Alaina was decked out in her wrestling gear though, sitting down and looking well prepared for things to go south during the interview.

With both women having taken their places, it was now time for the questions to begin. Glancing back and forth at either woman, nothing but their size was comparable. Alaina sat with calm demeanour and smile to those before her, whilst Karen sat lazily back in her chair, arms crossed under her massive bust as she barely contained herself from giving Alaina near constant side-eye. She was struggling even more so not to simply rise and go for her. She dubbed that beating she suffered before the masses to be Alaina's fault, after all, given she was the first out to greet her.

"Hi. Yes. This question is for Alaina, but Karen, you can answer too...What would you say was the straw that broke the camels back in this feud...What was it that has lead to you two finally agreeing to go at it in the ring under official match rules?"

Alaina smiled and laughed looking over at Karen, pointing right at the woman. "I would say when this woman, if I can call her that... decided to keep attacking me backstage with my back turned. I have been trying to face her one on one and she has been dodging me. Every time she gets the upper hand it is always when she is able to get a first sneak attack when my back is turned. She is half the woman, half the wrestler that I am and she knows it. I am beyond happy that the cowardly Karen has finally stopped dodging me. Everyone will see that in a match when she can't sneak up on me that I am by far the superior wrestler." Alaina said standing with her hands on her hips as she looked across at Karen.

After Karen had a chance to respond the next question came in. "Karen you seem to hold a special level of animosity towards Alaina, why is that?"

No-one here expected things to be pleasant, even remotely. The closest thing to a nice response would no doubt be by Karen, because near all of her venomous taunts were filled to the brim with sarcasm. Rolling her eyes and letting loose a very audible breath, Karen leaned forward as to get her mouth close to a standing microphone.

"I figured it was time to put an end to this. I need to move on targetting old-past its, and Alaina needs putting down..."

Before Karen could fully settle back into a comfy position in that chair, the next question was dropped specifically for her.

"When an old, trickless mutt gets all the attention, purely out of sympathy, when I'm out there busting my ass every night I wrestle...why wouldn't I hate this old fuck-" A wave from the main speaker of this event tried for what he could at reigning in Karen's usual colourful langauge, which for the moment worked, as Karen promptly resumed with a wide grin.

"Ahem...Why wouldn't I dislike this...this...golden gal..."

After a little talking among the masses, another question was promptly given. One that without a target included, could be guessed that it was for both women.

"What do you think will happen in this upcoming match of yours?"

Alaina chuckled and laughed at Karen. "Yeah, trickless. Coming from you that is hilarious." Alaina said as she listened to Karen. She smiled and looked out at the crowd.

The next question was an easy one for Alaina. "Quite simply the beat woman -me- will win. Karen can't handle me in the ring. There is a reason the supposedly trickless woman has won more five star matches than anyone out there. Too bad Karen and her track record are less than stellar." Alai a said with a shrug. "Maybe her anger comes from her frustration over her accomplishments on their own being simply mundane."

It was easy to lay into Karen for her lack of massive record, given the woman had been around since the very beginning of LAW, but it was not something that Karen would ever take personally. She had her reasons, as they were soon voiced.

"Well...The elder lady to my side over there can brag about her larger record, because she spends as much time carefully picking her opponents as she does playing rounds of bridge at her home. You don't see me accepting each and every offer that comes my way; my legs aren't open like Alaina's are." Karen crossed her arms, feeling she delivered a apt response to Alaina's own jibes, before responding to the question given by the crowd.

"Straight win. Easy. Maybe she'll get a hit in, but it won't do shit. I might even choke her out like the last time I saw her backstage..."

"My legs are open... good one. I guess that is one way to justify me never backing down from an opponent in the ring g compared to you being selectively afraid." Alaina said with a shrug. She adjusted herself in her seat as another question came from the crowd.

"For both of you, what aspects of the other do you actually respect?"

Alaina paused to think for a moment. "Karen is big, powerful and focused when she wants to be. She has a grotty toughness and drive but not quite at my level." Alaina said candidly, begrudgingly giving credit to Karen even if she didn't want to at all.

Alaina may have paused, but Karen already had an answer when it came to her turn. Technically, she had answered the question accurately, but it being Karen, it once more was likely another dig at Alaina's age. A rather quick one at that.

"Her experience."

The individual who asked that question was a little dismayed at how quickly Karen had answered it, and how short it was. Left for a moment expecting more, a snide look by the amazon would tell him he'd be getting no more, leaving it up to the next individual in the crowd to try and stir some life from Karen.

As luck would have it, said individual would appear to be a fan of her opponent. Or simply someone who disliked Karen.

"Karen, your recent...ahem...moment in the spotlight at We Are LAW was quite something to say the least. How would you best explain what went down? And Alaina, your thoughts towards that said moment?"

The moment said question was answered, Karen's fist stomped down on the table in front of her. Rising out of her chair, with security taking just that little extra step closer, Karen's eyes would have struck down the one who asked said question if they could.

"It was a fucking cowardly attack, started by this FUCK!" Arm raised with a finger extended at the end, one aimed square at Alaina.

This time it was Alaina who had the quick answer for the fan, ignoring Karen's anger. She smiled as she looked Karen in the eye.

"Karma is a bitch."

Alaina heard a chuckle or two from the crowd at her remark and it wasn't long before another question was asked.

"Karen, if you aren't trying to win titles necessarily what is your goal wrestling?"
