Announcing the Battle Royal!

The stage was set for a LAW press conference, and proceedings were already underway. Officials and executives were giving their speeches about plans, upcoming events, sponsorships, and business deals before a curtain emblazoned with LAW logos, all while snaps and flashes went off from the cameras gathered around the stage. After a few financial speeches that would prove uneventful to the typical wrestling fan, the action was brought back to the forefront, as wrestler Kayla Grant was invited to the podium. Taking the microphone in her hands from its last operator, she smiled and looked out at the crowd before performing a brief and polite bow.
"Greetings, everyone!" Kayla said. "I would just like to precede my speech by telling you all how grateful I am to be competing here, in sold-out arenas all across Japan. Back when I started wrestling school in LA, I couldn't imagine that I'd be going this big this soon - but here I am. I'd like to thank everyone who helped make this possible, and while my career in LAW is only starting, I have no doubts that I have only bigger and better things to look forward to from here!"
After a pause and some applause, Kayla continued. "And as a matter of fact...one of those is just around the corner. I would like to take this time to officially announce that I am going to be an entrant in LAW's first-ever Battle Royal!"
The crowd let out even more cheers at this - including a cry of "YEAAAAH, KAYLA!" from her tag partner Ashley jumping up in the back, which Kayla ignored. She smiled wider, continuing. "It's a great honor to be chosen for an event as big as this one. Fifteen women in the ring together, battling it out until only one remains - and that winner will be taking home not just a trophy, not just a cash prize, but the honor of having proven herself triumphant in the midst of an all-out war. I have no doubts that whoever can stand up to fourteen opponents at once and still remain standing will be worthy of going far in this company - and so too, I am confident that I have the skills to do so-"
Kayla's speech would suddenly be cut short, as two other members of the LAW roster suddenly appeared from the aisle and pushed their way through the crowd - the two-sister tag-team-cum-manager-and-client-pair of Chelsea and Molly Forster, the British Bunnies!
"Now 'old up a tick ''ere! Chelsea interjected in English, producing a microphone of her own. "Yous 're all go'n ter let this 'ere fookin' Yank airhead be 'de one to drop 'de news about ye big event, like? Yous think she's ye best spokeswoman? 'ell naw!" she shouted, pointing her finger in Kayla's direction, as Molly scrambled to relay the gist of what she was saying - albeit heavily sanitized - in Japanese to the press.
"Um, excuse me-" Kayla tried to get a word in edgewise. Even if she was one of the few people on stage who could understand Chelsea, she could only make out a few words here and there through the Scouser's thick dialect. Even still, she got the idea, and it was hardly one she was comfortable with.
Nevertheless, Chelsea wouldn't allow her to finish. "Ler rus be 'de one to tell yous now - I'm enti'n ye bloody battle royal too, like, and I'm gon' ter prove ter yous lot I'm 'de only one takin' home 'de trophy, like! Is right, yous don' mess wi' Liverpool! 'De Reds got 'de most European Cups in all o' England, like, and come 'de event, I'll make sure there's one more trophy sittin' in der Pool!"
"Chelsea says that she'll also be in the Battle Royal," Molly explained to an even more baffled press, bowing apologetically. "She says that our football club, the current European champions, have won more tournaments than any other club in England, and she wants to bring home a trophy of her own. No, I'm not going to be entering myself. I think she has it covered."
