Tracy Calls Out the Champ!

It hadn't been very long at all since LAW's inaugural middleweight champion had been crowned. Tina Armstrong fought her way through many rounds and many middleweights to claim the gold convincing fashion at We Are LAW. Many felt confident about her championship run. Tina seemed like the sort to continue fighting with vigor and honesty even after having proven herself.
And the "Tigress" drove that point home in an interview with Elena Vandersteen that immediately followed her championship win. The contents of the interview had been made public. Tina had name-dropped several women that she was on the lookout for- some she was happy to defend against, others she wanted to prove herself against, her goals outside of the being a respectable Middleweight titleholder. But one statement she made that resonated in the minds and hearts of LAW fans everywhere, was the one she made in reference to her rival Tracy Canon.
Tina had specifically called out Tracy for a title defense, and in a ladder match, no less! With the challenge put out there, a showman like Tracy couldn't resist the urge to jump at the chance! Tonight she came out full of enthusiasm, jumping excitedly and shaking her hips to the beat of her theme song!
Tracy would skip her way down to the ring. She seemed as energetic and confident as ever. The masked "Circus Cat" would hop onto the apron and grab the top rope before slingshotting over it and sticking her landing inside the ring. She'd smile to the crowd and let a member of the production crew hand her a microphone before she began to address everyone.
"Hello, Japaaaaan! Yall know why I'm out here, tonight!?" Tracy would let out a short chuckle after the salutations.
"I'm out here to answer to a woman that I've developed a rivalry here with at LAW. I'm out here for the winner of the Middleweight Championship Tourney! Your inaugural Middleweight Champion! "Tigress" Tina Armstrong!" The audience would begin to clap. Tina certainly had her fans. Especially after grabbing that brass ring. But an air of anticipation soon followed the praise. Being champion meant being a target. And for a young up-and-comer like Tina, that wasn't always going to be a good thing.
"I'm sure many fans that follow LAW closely heard about Tina's post match interview. It was some riveting stuff. I agree with a lot of what Tina had to say. You guys should really give it a listen when you get the chance. The redhead would say whilst pacing the ring with a contemplative look on her face. She'd look up towards the audience and glance at the entrance ramp in anticipation as she continued.
"So naturally, when Tina said she wants to defend that blue belt against me in a ladder match, I came out here to jump at the opportunity....I could get into the specifics of why I think I'm gonna win. But right now, at least, I'm finding myself thinking of our similarities. Thinking about now...Tina and I, we're not actually all that different. We're both aspiring middleweight wrestlers with role models. I look up to Katherine Hart. You look up to Alaina Sanders. We've both partnered up with our idols and formed tag teams. My tag team's beaten yours. Your tag team's beaten mine."
Tracy would nod a bit in affirmation of these facts. She'd then raise two fingers to segue into her next point.
"The way I see it, there's only two real distinctions between us"
"The first is that I'm as cute as a button, nyah~!" Tracy would make a cat paw gesture and wink after finishing this sentence, eliciting a brief crowd reaction to her cuteness. She would then stand with her feet shoulder's width apart in the center of the ring and grip the mic with both hands whilst looking at the entrance ramp with a more serious expression on her face.
"And the second is that I'm going to be LAW's second Middleweight Champion!!!"
