L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Veronika Noir was born again. Since she entered LAW, being a snobbish, spiteful Diva, much time had passed. She had feuded with her fellow newcomer Chris Yukine, shaming and almost destroying the small rockstar and getting her arm broken for it. Something she just could remember all to well as her shoulder still hurt after the torture it was put through.

But the months away from the ring, locked into her room at the Eagles Mansion, having only the Edelstein Sisters to talk (she still had to thank Harmonia for her advice), she had tried to make up with Chris Yukine, shoving all her inner demons and arrogance aside and trying to be a decent human being. She had adopted another member into her family, Champagne, a tortured little pup from the shelter,missing a paw and an eye and she had turned LAW around by botching a big and expensive match while fighting with her other rival, the Boss of the Heartbreakers, Sachiko Koizumi.

After the match she was forced to work together with Sachiko as punishment, they now were the babyface team "Heart Connection". What seemed as unbearable humiliation first turned into a night of chaos, hedonism and pure lust as both the Sukeban and the Dancer gave in to the feelings they had for each other, finally looking for their similarities instead of what made them different. She and Sachiko were best friends now, occasional lovers and a new team at LAW that would, for six months now, spread love and kindness at this company. Oh, those easily deceived souls. If they only knew what to expect after these 6 months...

Veronika was back indeed. With a whole new theme, something less seductive and more powerful. The Queen of Hearts wanted to set a strong example that she was still here and even if she had to be a nice angel now, she still had it. When her new theme started to play the people who were already booing, given the cruel treatment of Veronikas guests and the crowd in the last segments, stopped and listened with confusion as the Queen of Hearts herself stepped out and bowed to the crowd before making her way down the ramp, as always wearing just enough to cover all the important parts.

She walked up the stairs to the ring, blew a few kisses along the way and entered between the middle ropes, sticking her g-string clothed behind out, shaking it a bit while grinning to the camera. "Thats, for you, babe...", she grinned, adressing no one else then her parttime lover, Sachiko Koizumi. She stepped into the ring and looked around, a big grin on her face. She saw all the stuff from her previous shows,the heart couch, the Love-A-Thon. Everything was here, but today she would not invite any guests, today she just had to say something, getting a message through to the people of LAW and viewers of the world. Namely that she was still the Queen here.

"Bonsiour and Guten Tag LAW! Your favourite Queen finally has returned!" Loud boos could be heard throughout the arena as Veronika closed her eyes, lifted her arms and seemed as if she would inhale all the hate throwing down at her. "I always saw LAW as some sort human body. You have the head, its arms, its mouth and...its heart. So many people call themselves Heart this and Heart that. Then you have the Heartbreakers...", she said and rolled her eyes before a grin appeard again. "And this girls know exactly how to work things here..." The booing had increased when the cheating gang of Sukebans was mentioned by the Franco-Austrian but now it was a storm of insults. "You know, Sachiko and I had our differences...of course, but that was because we did'nt see the bigger picture. This rotten company needs us, us the Hearts of this company to pump fresh blood into the old, diseaseridden veins! To get this body goin again! Make it walk again!",she said and the crowd now stood up, threw beercans and other things into the ring while Veronika laughed. "Easy, easy. You misunderstand us! We are good girls now. We love all of you. And because we love you so much we give you a present. LAWs best, most beautiful and charismatic wrestlers teaming up to spread all the love we have to you! Is'nt that wonderful!", she said and had to hold in a chuckle.

The Queen of Hearts flipped her hair around grabbing the topropes as she walked up and down the ring,looking at the hateful stares and listened to the screams of the people. That was before she hopped up to the bottom rope, bent forward and showed her cleavage to everyone around, turning at least half of the croud into cheering,hollering and hooting apes. Veronika laughed and jumped back into the ring. "Humans are such easy prey...", she quoted an obscure horror movie from the 80s and then went on to talk.
"It is so easy to get your hearts. And we will. Sachiko and I are the height of sexyness in this company. We are,as you would say, the hot shit! We will entrance you, we will bewitch you and there will be no question about it afterwards who are the Queens of LAW.", she smiled and let her behind sway with each step.

"Oh, I know, I know...there are much Queens here, Queen of the Jungle,Queen of the Sky...yeeesh...", she said and shook her head. "The title of a Queen is given by a divine right, you can't just name yourself a Queen and pretend to be one. I mean yes, it is quite easy. Just name yourself Queen, look around the room and then add a subject. Queen of the stained toiletseat, Queen of the Trailerpark, Queen of the cumcrusted underpants...", she said and laughed again. "But I am the Queen of Hearts, chosen by destiny to rule over all of you...the Lightweight Division, the Middleweight Division, the Heavyweight Divison, all will bow to my love!", she said and stretched out her arms as if to invite some unseen guest to embrace her. "Under my rule there will be no more divisions! All of them are equally worthless and deserving of my love...", she smiled and the crowd was close to storm the ring only to get Veronika to shut up. The Queen of Hearts smiled, closed her eyes and let her arms outstretched. This was her moment. This was her big comeback. And she enjoyed every second of it...

Just a few more tinkers, and the real show could begin. Queuing up a second A/V set without interrupting what was currently on the Titantron was surprisingly difficult. It would have been far easier with the help of one of LAW's amazing Production Assistants, but the one in charge of tonight's A/V duties was unfortunately tied up in the back of the room. A shame. Still, all Satsuki needed to do was queue up some clips, and her little twist on Veronika's "talk show" would be ready to go.

Honestly, she couldn't even remember what they feuded over. What she did remember, however, was how even through her tweets, the image of Veronika Noir talking down her nose at Satsuki was clear as day. She didn't have a problem with arrogance, not really. In a sense, it was exactly what she was looking for.

Pride was a powerful thing, after all. Grandiose delusions fueled dangerous ambitions. That in turn forced the haughty to build their competence, if only to keep up with their self-image. When the wheels inevitably fell out from under them, though? All that know-how became deadly. No cornered beast would lash out more desperately than a narcissist forced to watch their carefully-edified ego chip away – and that was what Satsuki was after. If Veronika was half the egotist she was back then, Satsuki was in for a very interesting night.

She peeked at the current feed from inside the arena. Time had passed, but the same woman stood in the ring now. Flaunting her self-absorption, preening before the baying crowd, basking in their disdain just as much as their ogling. Love, hate, all of it was attention, and Veronika Noir grandstanded at the center of it all. Just as ripe for the goading as always. With the click of a button, a thirty-second timer was set, and Satsuki wheeled to prowl towards the ring.

Suddenly, the lights turned out across the arena! Gasps and murmurs spread through the crowd. Was this a power outage? Part of the show? Or something unforeseen entirely?

They got their answer when every screen in the arena flashed back to life. "Fight hard!" came the shout, and Chris Yukine stood onscreen, pointing a finger gun at a crumpled Veronika Noir. "Rock! HARDER!" She leapt, landing the Intercontinental Mega Deth and pinning Veronika for a three-count. The video then cut to another scene, where Veronika's face had been slammed into a chocolate cake; when her frosting-laden face was pulled from the dessert, laughter rang out from both the fans and the screen. Another cut, and back to Chris Yukine -- or, at least, her butt planted on Veronika's face.

Finally, the last shot: Once again, Chris, and once again, the camera was zoomed in so that only Veronika's agonized face was visible. Her agonized face... and the wicked arm-twisting submission hold that she was in. Everyone knew this hold, and everyone held their breath as they knew what was about to happen. Veronika's screams filled the room, growing louder and louder and louder... until with a loud SNAP!, the Jumbotron grew dark once more.

Then the lights came on... revealing Satsuki Hayano, reclining across the plush throne that Veronika had made a signature of The Tell Tale Heart!

"Yo." It was hard to believe that a single word could send the audience into such a tizzy, but it did. Longtime fans of Veronika who remembered their previous dispute, experienced wrestling buffs who could read the tension in the room, and folks in the arena who didn't know anything but just watched a surprise entrance interrupt a promo. All of them had reasons to cheer

Satsuki rolled to her side, propping her temple up on steepled fingers as her hips and elbow draped onto the cushioned armrests. "Queen of the Cumcrusted Underpants, huh?" Her lips curled in mock approval, and she nodded. "Now that sounds way more interesting than..." Her hand drew a lazy circle. "Whatever all this is. Why don't you tell me some more about that?"
