NOTICE: This takes place a day after the Do or Die supercard
Twas' another busy night in the LAW arena tonight. Countless hoards of people hurried into their seats with popcorn, soft drinks, candy, and whatever other things they could fill their arms with and were met with a rather unusual sight. Well- not unusual for everyone. Sitting in the middle of the ring was a folding table and a pen. What did this mean? Well... as soon as everyone was seated and had time to murmur guesses with each other- a familiar Barbarian Prince, all dressed up at that, would step out from behind the curtains and make his way down the ramp. Fans of the rising rookie would cheer loudly for him as he took time to give high-fives to whoever he could before taking a mic and getting into the ring. When everyone settled down, Oscar just... stared out at the surrounding audience for a moment before speaking with a nervous tone."...Wow uh... it's funny how I can get into this ring and fight in front of thousands of people, yet still get the willies when I do public speaking. It's my first promo so uh, apologies if I'm a little nervous about it."
Oscar laughed a little, some of the audience members chuckling along with him before the Barbarian Prince cleared his throat and continued on. His face relaxed a bit as he did some deep breathing and adjusted his collar.
"So I hope you all enjoyed the recent super card! What a show, huh? I consider it an honor to have been a part of that before I head off to the good ol' U.S of A for the next few months... but before I do, I want to make a declaration"
Egar wrestling fans glanced at one another and sat on the edges of their seats as Oscar continued.
"I remember when I first signed onto LAW, I was warned that it was extremely difficult for a man to make any sort of success in this company. That the men never got the spotlight that the talented ladies in the company have on them- but y'know what? After over a year of hard work and dedication in this federation, that feels the farthest thing from the truth"
A bright smile formed on Oscar's face as he slowly walked around the ring for everyone to get a better look at him.
"Ever since joining, I have been blessed with the chance to meet some truly amazing people- both during my time in the young lions and when I was sent overseas to study in America under not just some of the best trainers in the world- but also veterans and current champions. With that knowledge helping me win that... very tough fight against Natalie McCarthy, I want to keep being able to give all of you amazing people out there the best shows I can- and to do that, I figure I need to push myself to face off against some higher ranking talent- and I've just the person in mind tonight since a little birdie tells me they're in this building tonight"
Oscar's smile shifted into a confident grin, puffing his chest out as he kept this mystery person ambiguous for now...
"This person was one of three that gave me and my friends one of the most fun nights of our lives purely out of the goodness of their hearts, asking for nothing in return other than for myself, Katrina Kelly, Rylie Marshall, and Moria Kilgannon to just enjoy ourselves as we ate, drank, and sang all night long. I'm of course talking about the SWAT Cats and the little karaoke party you might've seen some photos of online from a few months ago"
Chatter picked up in the peanut gallery as the Barbarian Prince named dropped the legendary tag team of LAW. Plenty of speculation was tossed from person to person as they wondered who out of the three ladies Oscar was focusing on.
"All three women are amazingly talented in their own way and y'know what? What better way is there to push yourself to the limit than by facing off against some of the best LAW has to offer? I recall a tweet made by the Cats offering to take me on in an official match... but one stood out for calling dibs- and I intend to keep my promise by making our little chat into something official!"
Oscar reached into his pocket and took out a sheet of paper that when zoomed in on by the camera, revealed to be a written-up contract!
"I have in my hand right here a contract for a multi-fall match- best two out of three! And tonight I'm honoring the sacred right of dibs and OPENLY CHALLANGE TRACY CANNON, THE CIRCUS CAT HERSELF, AT WE ARE LAW SIX! Come on out whenever you're ready, Tracy! I got the pen right here!"
The crowd EXPLODED into cheers as Oscar raised his voice at the issued challenge, the Barbarian Prince placing the contract down on the table as he swiftly took a pen out of his other pocket and set it next to the paper. Oscar stared over at the ramp for any sign of Tracy, his eyes glued to the curtain for even the slightest shift of movement!
