Needless to say, this was a new look for the Rascal Demon.
And as she wore a light yet mischievous smile to the camera in front of her, there was only silence. Then, once the scene was set and the atmosphere was taken, a koto began lightly playing in the background.
Spoiler
"Heh," Her small smile rose to a wide smirk, her yellow eyes gleaming under the dark lights. "So!" She shouted. "Looks like LAW can't handle the Demon of Akuma no Senshi here in Japan and gotta' send her out of the country to unleash her wraith! Show the West what a Demon of the East looks like up close!" Amano looked at the camera with a dark smile. "And luckily for you guys, I even know a bunch of English! [ Hel-lo world! I am Amano-Jaku! ]" The was a small stifle of giggles from masculine and feminine voices alike as the koto paused in its rhythm a moment. Amano rolled her eyes at the interruption, but continued. "That's right, I'm gonna' be flying all the way to America to wrestle in [ Fight the Law ] next week! It'll be my first time out of the country, but it's gonna' be crazy! [ I am su-per hyped! ]" Another small bits of giggling, this time followed with glare from Amano. "I guess LAW got sick of letting Rose-chan pick her battles and wanted to throw a real demon at her. And when I see strong prey, I gotta' fight them, not matter what. [ I am ve-ry strong and ex-ci-ted! ]" She paused, letting her statement hang. "And I..." She let her words hang. "I..." She looked back at the camera, her eyes flickering as her smirk turned to a frown.
Then, she sighed.
"Onee-san, you can stop playing."
The koto stopped. There were a few murmurs in the background, some whispers to Amano, a few shifting legs and feet moving behind her. "Guys... you can turn on the lights too. I can't really do this anymore." The lights flickered on, now revealing the room in full. A large tatami room still, though with more western-styled chandeliers above and a wide array of paintings and trophies in the background. This was neither Amano's usual dojo nor anywhere LAW-affiliated. This was the one of the main offices of the Taishuya Martial Arts Association, namely a place that only the CEO of the company and his associates had their meetings. A more traditional place than most, but Reiko got the okay by Himeko's father himself to use it for her promo, along with a few members of his staff. The idea was to set up a dark and eerie mood and announce her intent to the world.
But...
"Ah... [Sorry, sorry.] It's kinda' hard to do this when I'm not in the ring." Reiko snapped her fingers, a woman in a white gi and hakama moving to tie Reiko's hair into a ponytail, a more nature look for her when she was in a match. Behind Reiko stood not only Himeko and Nanase in more traditional wear than their usual battle kimono, but a slew of men and women in gi and hakama. The majority of Amano's dojo senpai and Taishuya employers that supported her all stood around her in stoic and calm fashion. The outfits were by Reiko's request, but... it honestly felt like a small army was gathered around the girl, with her General and Pillar by her side. And with the new atmosphere set, the girl moved out of seiza and into a more comfortable, cross-legged position her panties showing just under the camera's gaze.
"Sorry for the international people, but English is hard to speak constant and LAW said they'd give subtitles below when I send them this tape. [ My En-g-lish is o-kay... but some words are hard ]. And I know subtitles suck and aren't always accurate. Trust me, I watched, like, three cowboy movies subbed this week and I swear some of them were completely off." She gave a small laugh, the group behind her chuckling along save for Himeko.
"It's either in English or Italian when it comes to Westerns, Rei-chan!" A voice said.
"Can it!" Reiko let out a huff, rolling her eyes. "Anyway!" She turned back to the camera. "Last week, LAW management messaged me about going to America for the big [ Fight the LAW ] event. Not gonna' lie, it was kinda' shocking. I finished up a big fight a few months ago, been throwing myself into a lot of matches after I recovered, got management to kick off the Kimodameshi stuff, and some other things even before all that, and... now I'm wanted for a big event. Went from being some Aikido girl showing off her panties and legs in a wrestling ring to... this." She paused, looking around her. "And... it's nuts, y'know?" She looked Nanase's way. "Onee-san, Hangaku here, is a super tough jujitsu fighter, she's actually Ane-san's bodyguard sometimes. I've seen her chuck guys twice her size in the dojo and make them tap." She looked to Himeko's direction. "And Ane-san, Hime? She's a really hardcore Judoka that knows judo, kickboxing, kenjutsu, and a buncha' other stuff. I've seen her beat up street thugs with just a bokken and walk away without a scratch!"
Himeko's face blushed slightly, several members behind them giggling before the Princess silenced them with a glare.
"Y-Yeah... and despite that, LAW wanted me to go and fight Rose-chan... Out of the three of us in this stable, out of everyone in my division at LAW, they chose me... But..." Amano's face hardened. "I know why." She snapped her fingers, a man from behind giving her a tablet.
"I'm sure you guys know about the hellhole that's LAW twitter." She began. "For the last, what, three months? There's been nothing but people whining, moaning, and complaining about belts, champions, and privileges and shit. [ It's cra-zy, right? ] I even talked about it a bit on there. Too many people in our division whine about shit they don't have and can't get, and I'm sick of it!" She flashed the tablet at the camera, showing a handful of online posts. "Meanwhile, there's a tournament going on to see who gets to official challenge for the belt, a bunch of new people throwing themselves at me to show their stuff, and the every other FUCKING division knows better than to bitch about this shit!" She handed the tablet back to the man, nearly throwing it at him in annoyance. "Oh- Sorry Takami-san. Just got super mad there." The man waved it off, taking the tablet and walking to his position.
Reiko let out a breath. "But... I'm glad for the chance." She looked at the camera.
"I... I don't really care that much about the belt. I don't even really care about how much people hate Rose-chan. I... kinda' look up to her and Aoi both as tough fighters in our division. And save for all the people in that tournament contending for the right to win that belt, I don't think anyone else here really has the guts, skills, or attitude to take it." She scratched the back of her head. "I'm not much of a wrestler, but I am a martial artist. And as a martial artist I know that when people complain and whine about someone else's success and what could of been... they're usually just white belts envying black belts."
She snapped her fingers again, a woman bringing a wrapped brown belt forward. "It took me four years of kata, kumite, and getting my ass thrown around the dojo to get this belt here. It took four years of blood, sweat, and tears to get this belt. I got joints dislocated, cuts on my face and body, and roughed up by challengers from other dojo elsewhere to earn this belt. And..." She paused, biting her lip. I know it's not a championship belt, I know it's not even a black belt, but it's MY belt! And I work my ass off for it!" She grabbed the belt, showing it in front of the camera. "And I'm gonna' wear this belt with fucking pride in my match with Rose-chan! Because I worked my ass off to get it unlike half the assholes in the cheap seats typing away and whining about not having one!" Amano paused a moment. "Oh! Uh... [I'm go-ing to kick ass!]" Amano gave the belt back to the woman, taking a moment to settle down.
"Anyway. I think that's it." She sat up straight. "So... If you guys are listening... Kiyo-chan, Makishima-sensei..." She slammed a fist into her palm. "I'm gonna' knock out a few of Rose-chan's teeth and give 'em to you as presents! To all the new fighters I fought in the Kimodameshi matches." She gave a small bow. "Thank you for showing me what you had and giving our fights your all. I know I knocked some of you around pretty hard. Hell, some of you knocked me around pretty hard and rose up. But... that's just how it is in a fight. Keep training and keep fighting so we can make this coolest, hottest, and best division in LAW and show everyone you don't need a damn belt to be seen. Watch this fight carefully, because this is where you can go when you actually work instead of shit-talk online. And to the bastard that keep talking shit-" She glared at the camera.
"Let this be a lesson to what happens when you whine about the rookie that actually uses her hands to fight instead of type. Half of you assholes haven't even appeared in the ring yet, and the other half barely have a decent win. You guys are perfect Kimodameshi bait, and since I'll be in America, Ane-san and Onee-san can show you how a real fight goes. And I'm the weakest of the three, so good fucking luck. At least the new girls in the Kimodameshi matches actually have the stones to face me, at least everyone in the tournament is doing their damn best to prove all the people in the middle and heavyweight division wrong about us lightweights being online keyboard warriors that can't fight as half as good as we talk." She let out a sigh, clicking her tongue. "And... Kazikura." She looked at the camera with a focused gaze.
"Kazikura Yuki... I'm fighting the Lightweight Champion soon." She started. "I've trained in martial arts for four years, three going on four. This is my second year at LAW and I'm challenging for the Lightweight Belt. We're equals." She rose a fist. "And even if I lose, I'm still at your level now. You can no longer hang your damn accolades over my head, and I'm going to take you down in our rematch. So I hope you choose a good match for me to give you your next loss." She stuck her tongue out at the camera.
"And my tits are way better than yours, Tsurupettaaan~"
There was a low murmur of giggles from that one, even Himeko cracked a smile.
"Oh... and Rose-chan..." She paused, placing a hand to her chin. "Wow... I actually don't know what to say to you. Kinda' did this more for everyone else." She gave a chuckle, scratching the back of her head. "Well... uh..." She paused, then looked at the camera with a smile. No... a smirk.
"[ Let's kill each other! ]"
