If there was anything undeniable about Rose Gold right now, it was the raw negative emotion in her tone of voice and in her facial expression right now! Though the lightweight champion reacted with just a few words, the hatred and anger in them would have the hearts of many in attendance skip a beat!

That initial "You" earned an eyebrow raise from Aurora. It came more from concern than intrigue, but The Galaxy Cat recouped quickly. Lexy was in the back, clenching her fists tightly, ready to go out there and make her presence known if need be!

Rose demanded Aurora ask her question so that they could be done with this! Her response made the tag champion smile confidently! It was all the more reason for Aurora to slow-roll this! The masked lightweight placed one hand on the table. She raised her mic to her face! She locked eyes with Rose!

"Oh, you'll have it, alright...." Estrella began. She slung her golden belt over her shoulder

"But before I ask it, I'm going to give you some much-needed context! And you're going to listen to me!" Aurora pointed to the blonde across the table from her.

"Time and time again, you've taken every opportunity you could to tell the locker room, the fans, the whole wide world exactly who you claim to be and what you're all about!"

"You spew! Lie after lie after lie SO confidently and with SO much conviction....! That I would honestly be impressed with you if I wasn't just...so appalled and disgusted!" Aurora ranted! Her face grimaced with the very same disgust she referenced! Her emphasis on the word in her speech was palpable!

"I mean I said I wouldn't play the flagbearer, but really? You carried this "filthy company" when the world was at its darkest?! Gave people something to cheer for?!"

"Look around you, Rose Gold! Wake up! LAW, the pinnacle of wrestling promotions in the world! For years now! Since the company's inception! It's been carried forward to prominence, not in those poorly manicured hands of yours, but by champions, contenders, and workhorses NOT named Rose Gold!!!" Aurora would roar. She paused to let the fans chime in with roars and cheers of their own!

"I said I was going to give you some much-needed context and I want you to brace yourself for it! Because this is the part where I talk them into the building!" Aurora would gesture broadly to the audience with one open palm. She promptly returned that hand to the mic, gripping it with one hand as her stare grew more intense! The luchadora would stare right into the lightweight champ's soul as she continued!

"I'm giving you two options, and only two options, Rose. You can sit there and listen, and be made to understand exactly what you're in for at Fight The LAW....or you can swing at me...with your one good arm, get SWIFTLY dropped, and then be made to listen and understand regardless!"
Aurora pointed to the same hand that Rose had used to sign the contract just moments ago.

"You can take your pick whenever you'd like! But I'd suggest you take your seat! Because I don't need to wait till the pay-per-view to expose you! I can do that Right! Now!" Aurora pointed downward with her index finger for emphasis.

"Now, normally, I let my wrestling do the talking for me. Outside the open challenges I do with my team to defend the World Tag Team Championships, I actually haven't done much promo work at all."

"In fact, this is the first time I've been in a ring with a mic in my hands without my fellow SWAT Cats. I never gave everyone a formal introduction. I never spelled it out for everyone exactly who I am and what the content of my character is. I never needed to." The luchadora would shrug.

"People came to know me, love me, and respect me based on nothing but my own merits and my own abilities. Based on the things I've shown the world rather than sob stories I've told them!" She referenced an earlier Rose promo.

"But you, Rose. You don't seem so familiar with me. So let me do you the favor and introduce myself to you proper!"

"With about ten wins and no losses, I have never been pinned or submitted in a LAW ring! I have never lost a professional wrestling match in this company, period!"

"My name is Aurora Estrella. Lightweight luchadora extraordinaire! LAW's beloved Galaxy Cat! One-third of the Inaugural. World. Tag. Team. Champions alongside the greatest tag team and stable in professional wrestling today! The SWAT Cats!" Aurora would nod firmly. Claps and cheers of approval could be heard from the crowd as she referenced her tag partners!

"I have wrestled match after match, title defense after title defense! I'm teaming up with Future Hall of Famers Tracy Canon and Katherine Hart going up against Future Hall of Famers like Alaina Sanders and Dana Ashford in championship matches...! And I'm retaining!"

"I'm headlining pay-per-views! I'm main eventing the biggest cards and events in the company!"

"I, Aurora, YOUR challenger for YOUR title, main evented OVER you, the champion! Just months ago at We Are LAW!" The Galaxy Cat gestured to herself and then to Rose here, motioning as she put emphasis on this fact!

"So where does all of this bring us? To the next big event. To Fight The LAW...." Aurora gripped the edge of the table. She once again locked eyes with Rose.

"Rose Gold, understand that come the day of our ladder match, you won't be walking into a contest that you've adequately prepared yourself for."

"This isn't going to be a masturbatory Champion vs Champion match with nothing on the line but your own pride."

"This isn't going to be a match against a reckless demon. There will be no MMA rules. No octagon. No chances to be saved by the bell so that you can go get your little "love rubs" between rounds from that concubine of yours."

"This isn't going to be a match against a one-legged champion, where you've engineered the circumstances of your victory weeks before the match could even begin...."

"This! Will! Not! Be! A Midas. Touch. Match." Aurora raised her voice and asserted herself!

"Understand that your boss, The General Manager of this company handpicked me to face you for a reason! Understand that at Fight The LAW, you're walking into a contest, the outcome of which is considered a foregone conclusion!"

"Understand that they've already got merchandise in production right now at this very moment! Shirts, mugs, posters! All with the very same words that everyone in this arena won't stop chanting at you!" The masked girl raised her microphone up high and let Rose face the music the crowd was prompted to sing to her! Quickly, the chants would start up!

After giving it time to die down, Aurora couldn't help but flash a toothy grin at the champion! Her dark lipstick contrasted the whites of her perfect teeth. She turned to Rose with one hand on the table.

"So at long last! My question to you, Rose! It's a simple one! Tell me..."

"How does it....feel?" An abrupt, sudden, loud thud echoed out, giving the question no time to be processed!

Aurora banged on the table hard with one fist! The sound of the impact reverberated off her live microphone! She promptly rose up and lurched forward, getting closer to Rose than she had been all night! Aurora began to gesture broadly and wildly with the rest of her words, finally bringing it home and arriving at the conclusion!

"I ask AGAIN! With more zeal in my voice!" Aurora would scream!

"Rose! Gold!"

"Sinister Siren!"

"Venomous Vixen!"

"The Nail That Sticks Out! The Woman Who Will Not Be Denied!"

"Self-professed "ACE" of this company!"

"How does it feel to go into- not the biggest match of your title reign!"

"Not the biggest match of your career!"

"How does it feel?! TO GO INTO THE SINGLE. BIGGEST. FIGHT! OF! YOUR! LIFE....!!!"

A long pause followed. Aurora casually slid into her chair. With one elbow on the table and the other hand keeping the mic steady, she delivered the last line with a whisper and with a slow head tilt.

"As the underdog....." Estrella narrowed her eyes as she put the word out there as if it were something filthy. Because she knew that, to Rose Gold, it was just that!

Aurora let this statement hang there. She'd drop her mic and let it hit the table. Without saying another word, she stood up and smiled contently, seemingly happy to put all this out there and happy to see what effects her words had on the Lightweight Champ.

Left uninterrupted, she'd brush off the fabric of her dress and stroll towards the ropes with her belt in hand. Despite the high heels, Estrella would have no issues clearing the ropes and dismounting from the ring apron.

The tone in the arena would be one of silence as Aurora's words set in. The sound of her entrance music coming on would spur the audience to cheer and to chant her name once more! Aurora would raise her belt high as she marched towards the back. She'd choose not to offer Rose another look, not even a passing glance as she took her leave.

The war of words was over. The contract was signed. And the tone for the match was set.

The microphone hit the table between the two women and rolled slowly across the freshly signed contract. The static infused feedback of the mic drop faded, but Aurora's words still echoed in the champion's head. 'Underdog'. It was all she could hear. That and the sound of her own panicked heartbeat.

She had no idea what she looked like right now. A glance past Aurora to the big screen would have revealed it to her, but she dared not take it. She knew her composure had broken. Her guard had been dropped by the lead-in. It had left her open. And Aurora's impassioned promo left her completely disheveled. She could feel her makeup running as sweat dripped from her hairline. Her vision was blurry, the result of her pupils dilating and her breath catching in her throat.

She was always with a plan. Always in control. Always with the last laugh. She had the perfect response for Aurora! Words that would cut to the bone! She just... She just... Needed to figure out what they were!!

The microphone continued to roll, eventually falling off the table and onto the canvas with an echoing *Thump*. It shook her. Enough for her to close her eyes tightly and grit her teeth. To find something to cling onto... Anger! And when she opened her eyes she did so with a feral snarl! She'd swing at Aurora! But she was already gone... She'd left the ring seconds ago. During the ample time that Rose Gold had spent paralyzed by barbed words driven right into her soul.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!" She screamed as she thrust the bottom of her boot into the edge of the table, flipping it over and scattering its contents all over the ring! Next, she turned her fury on the chair behind her, kicking it against the corners and stomping it until it was in two separate pieces! She turned to direct her tantrum towards anything else. And in her incoherent rage, she lost her footing. Her boot had landed upon the clipboard that held the contract and stole away her base, causing her to fall gracelessly onto her backside.

She was red with anger and sitting in the center of the ring. Debris, spilled water, and office supplies surrounded her. She wanted to scream more! But something kept her quiet... Tonight it was she who was stripped bare and humiliated in front of the whole world... And being quiet was all she could do to keep from crying.
