The lights in the arena dimmed, little by little until the last glow was completely snuffed out, leaving the audience shrouded in darkness and silence for a few seconds that seemed like they'd stretch to infinity. First whispers started to go around the crowd when a booming voice sounded out from the stage
"Sorry to keep you waiting!" which was followed by a spotlight illuminating the figure from which the words originated.
Sat on a stylised wooden throne was a tall woman of a noticeable physique, her dark skin crossed by black patterns not unlike that of a tiger. She rested her head on one arm, a confident smile on her face, while the other stroked the head of a tiger cub curled up on her lap. She strengthened out in the chair, measuring that audience from her perch before speaking once more.
"When I first heard of this place, I did not give it much credit" She took a pause, letting the words sink in before opening her mouth once more
"I'm glad to be wrong!"
With the last words, she started to stand from her throne, the cub jumping off her lap and falling in step with her as she started to walk down the ramp.
"In what short time LAW has been around it gathered quite a plethora of greats under its wing." She spoke, putting a special emphasis on the "greats"
"Sanders, Akan, Midori, Ashford. I could keep going but you all know their names." She said with a smile, approaching the ring itself and climbing the stairs and resting her back on the ropes from the outside.
"It could only be so long before I took interest after all!" She said before slowly sliding between the ropes, taking a few steps towards the middle of the ring before continuing.
"The question stands, is LAW ready for me?" She continued with a brief pause
"And so first I ask you, audience, do you hear my roar?!?" She finished, stretching the arm with the microphone out to the audience and waiting for a response
