Re: Diana A./Astrid A. - Funeral For A Friend.

Even funerals are more fun. Today, this phrase has clearly acquired completely new colors. A drama turned into a comedy, and the comedy turned into an action movie. Perhaps it was fair to say that none of those present expected that everything would go this way. However, this was one of the charms of pro wrestling. Even though there was no match scheduled today, everyone present witnessed a real show that is unlikely to be forgotten in the near future.

However, nothing was over yet. No one wanted to deal with Astrid, which clearly indicated that not all the hired actors had lost their sense of self-preservation. She had no desire to harm those who were very far from her world. But you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs. Therefore, if someone dared to come between her and Diana, she would not hesitate to deal with them.

Everyone understood this and therefore did not stop the blonde from lifting Diana on the shoulders. In a sense, these actors even did her a favor, because instead of dragging the coffin from the arena, they put it on a cart. The temptation to take advantage of such a combination of circumstances was too great. And Astrid did not deny herself this pleasure. Without any regret, she threw Diana out of the ring.

When the brunette fell into the coffin, there was a crack of wood. It seems the coffin was far from the best quality, which was not surprising, because it was just a prop. But, nevertheless, the construction withstood the fall of the Italian woman. The actors recoiled in different directions, clutching their heads, it seems they were not warned that the performance could go completely wrong according to plan.

"Pf... pf..." Astrid was breathing heavily.

A few drops of sweat rolled down her face. Until today, she had not thought about the fact that fighting in a dress is not the easiest thing to do. However, now was not the time to rest. Everything ends sooner or later. Even the funeral. The blonde wiped the sweat off her face, and then rolled out of the ring.

Stopping by the coffin on the cart, she looked at the actors. They were in no hurry to leave the arena. It seems they didn't want to leave the props here. Although perhaps they were still thinking how to help Diana. Well. Astrid was determined to save them from having to plunge into heavy thoughts. The Norwegian woman turned her gaze to the brunette. It was hard to tell if Diana was conscious, but there was still a painful expression on her face. After the broken vase and heavy fall, she looked far from the best. And in fact, Astrid had only one thing left to do.

"Hit the road, Diana!" She said with a satisfied smile.

The descendant of the great Vikings intended to slam the lid of the coffin, plunging Diana into darkness. And then... yes, it's time to send her on her last journey. Lifting her right leg bent at the knee, the blonde was about to kick the cart.

This was the signal for the actors and actresses to act. Running up to the coffin, she grabbed the cart and began to roll it up the ramp to a thunderous ovation from the audience. And only now, looking at this, Astrid was able to breathe a sigh of relief. With a wide smile and a feeling of complete satisfaction, she put her left hand on her waist, and with her right hand she waved at the coffin, which was getting farther and farther away from her. And although it was difficult to say anything definite about it yet, something told her that now Diana would not be able to refuse the Apex match.

The coffin which Diana was driven into wasn’t exactly made of plywood, but it certainly wasn’t designed to be anything more than a prop. Had the ‘coffin’ been used for its actual purpose, then the body inside would have likely have fallen out of the bottom during the lowering into the grave!

Landing square in the center of the prop, with her arms and legs painfully colliding with the rough wooden edges of said coffin, Diana was beginning to wish she’d invested in better equipment. If only for the fact that the padding of that coffin was purely for appearances - Diana’s collision with the wood wasn’t softened at all!

She wouldn’t be knocked out by the slam, but she may as well have been as Astrid saw fit to tuck her in. With one leg at a time pushed in, Diana’s body was now fitting snugly save for a dangling arm. One which aided her in keeping the coffin open if inadvertently, as Astrid saw fit to close the case lid upon her!

With the entourage that Diana had brought to the ring now sliding under the ropes entirely - and the aardvark well and truly out of harms way thanks entirely to its aware handler - Diana would find her group acting on their own as they began to slide the coffin up the ramp. Out of harms away, and away from the blonde still standing tall center of the ring!

Pushing said coffin up the ramp using nothing more than their sheer manpower, Diana would have the lid of the coffin repeatedly bounce upon her still dangling arm. Highlighting the pain with every bounce!

The incredibly annoying angry would earn a hard kick from the Italian as she booted the lid of the coffin off of her - into the face of several members of the group carrying it. Though they'd persist all the same, if only out of fear of what would happen if they were to stop!

"YOU...!" Diana would scream, pushing one hand to the side of the coffin to prop herself up as she was taken further up the ramp!

"YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF LAWLESS DIANA ACCERA...!"

"Oh?" Before she could stop herself, Astrid surprised.

The reason for this was the sudden opening of the coffin lid. Literally after a second or two, accompanied by deafening laughter from the audience, Diana took a sitting position and turned to the blonde. Even Astrid herself couldn't help but chuckle at that moment. Damn. It was too comical. Diana. The coffin. Actors. The aardvark. A damn magnificent picture. Whatever it was, but thanks to the Italian woman, this funeral will definitely go down in history.

The smile on the face of the descendant of the great Vikings grew wider when Diana said that this wasn't the end. LAWLESS Diana Accera. Huh. Her words proved that she had not lost any confidence that she was on top of the world. On the one hand, it was sad. On the other hand, Astrid understood that it was also a hope that the next time they would meet under different circumstances.

"Hey, Diana!" She shouted to the brunette.

Astrid didn't really have much desire to talk to her. However, it would be very rude not to say goodbye to the Italian woman who put so much effort into shaming Astrid in front of all these people. Unfortunately, the blonde didn't have a microphone in her hands at that moment, so she folded her palms into boats and brought them to her mouth, she wanted Diana to hear it for sure.

"When you decide to embarrass your ass again, I'll be waiting!"

Astrid waved again to the brunette, who was clearly trying to shout something back. However, no one heard what exactly she wanted to say. The actors, clearly not wanting to stay there for at least a second longer than necessary, quickly disappeared behind the curtains along with the coffin and Diana sitting in it.

There was only one actor left at the top of the ramp, holding aardvark Arvidsson. It was hard to say why he decided to slow down, but in any case, it caused a farewell wave of applause from the audience. Yes, today's show will not be forgotten. Despite the fact that pro wrestling is mostly about spectacular matchs, where fighters are ready to do anything in order to get to the top, such moments will forever remain in the hearts of those who happened to see it.

Looking at the aardvark, Astrid tilted her head slightly to the side. The smile faded from her face for a moment, but then she chuckled. Despite the fact that Diana did all this just to hurt her pride, even she couldn't deny that...

"Aardvark Arvidsson, huh..." she muttered. "Brilliant..."

She was not a visionary and did not know when she would see Diana again. So she could only hope that next time they would be able to test each other's strength for real. She may have won the battle today, but the war is not over yet. Why? Diana was still LAWLESS Diana Accera. And so Astrid still had work to do. Even though she still felt pain in her heart because of all the nastiness that the brunette had arranged, she still wanted to see the real Diana. Will she manage to do that?

Only time will tell...
