The Dark Side of Business (for The Riders)

[Pegasus]

The crowd were booing to the rooftops as they saw Kennedy make her way down the ramp to no music like usual. For weeks, Kennedy has been dead set on going after the LAW Heavyweight Championship and even has tussled with a certain Amazon that just refuses to retire. However, the return of The Murder Princess and Cyber Legacy member, Ana Akira, brought an important piece of business to attend to and she was called to the ring by Ana. Kennedy made her way up the steps and hung onto the apron calling for a working mic as a ringside worker passed it over. Kennedy entered the ring and let the boos soak in how monumental things were about to get as she smirked.

“Ana, hon, let’s not keep everyone waiting. Come on out,” Kennedy instructed as she looked to the entrance ramp.

New music plays over the speakers... As The arena lights go dark as a spotlight appears on the ramp and Ana is kneeling down wearing one of her new outfits for this moment. As the blue-haired woman starts to crawl almost in a bear crawl position, before sliding onto her knees and spreading her arms out wide to a loud chorus of boos from the crowd.

The song playing in the background is from some famous boxing anime, one that Ana picked out just because of what Kennedy wants... And what she can offer the other woman as she makes her way down to the ring, taking a small peek at the other woman before doing the splits on the ring apron and sliding underneath the bottom rope.

The music stops as Ana gets to her feet and holds out her hand for a mic to speak... "Kennedy it has been a while you know, seemed that you're moving up in the business but what this I heard about you fighting an old Amazon for something... That my mother wants in her grasp." Ana would say as she is lean against the ring ropes keeping a distance between herself and Kennedy.

“It’s pretty simple, Ana. I want the heavyweight title and bring some new respect to the name of the division. Yet it seems we have to rely on the same old heroes like Astrid, Katherine, and Alania to get anywhere with the division. Those three names hold water as great wrestlers, but my problem with any of them holding the title is that we have to rely on the same old status quo to get anywhere. There needs to be a new chain of command and….Alania definitely doesn’t need to be anywhere near the title. That bitch can’t decide when she wants to retire. Astrid or Kat, I’m fine with holding the belt and I’ll kick their ass just the same. However, Alania likes to think she’s hot shit….and I’ll soon show her that she’s just another living fossil that should’ve been buried for good,” Kennedy explained as the boos grew louder with Kennedy trashing their beloved Amazon.

“You people are just stuck in the past….and so is Thereisa. She thinks she can just waltz back to the front of the line for a title match….not on my watch. I’m going next and if I have to face her to prove the point, I will,” Kennedy challenged as she backed up to await Ana’s response.

Ana would lean back and allow Kennedy to say what was on her mind. She figured that her friend had a lot to say and rant about what was wrong with the company and what she felt was a mistake with an older wrestler being champion, but she did bring up some good points that she would make mention of before her eyes glared at the mention of her mother and how she was stuck in the past and such.

 As she walks forward and stands right in front of Kennedy...before raising her hand and slapping the woman across the face with her hand, the crowd is shook as none of them expected that happening including that it came from Ana of all people who has never been quick to violence like her mother figure or sister. "Poor Kennedy... Scared that some old Fossil is better then you...or is it because your not the top bitch in the company like you was in your old one...' she says with a fake giggle as she walks around her friend in a circle. "One thing I will tell you, Kennedy... Never insult the woman I view as a mother in my presence again if you know what good for you... "I can make your life hell before you even think of getting gold around your waist."

Ana would enter the ring and Kennedy remained ready for a fight. The idol trifled on about how Kennedy was either scared that Alania was better than her or she wasn’t the top woman in LAW. Kennedy knew that was just low-hanging fruit to go after, but Ana slapping her hard across the face just boosted the murder princess up on Kennedy’s “people that need an ass whooping” list. Kennedy felt her face and shot her right hand back slapping Ana across the face glaring her down.

“If there’s a point to you calling me out here, best get to it, hon. I’m not playing your mind games tonight. You got 30 seconds to make it important,” Kennedy warned.

Ana had just finished saying her piece to Kennedy, even giving the blonde woman a slap for good measure after the insults the woman had made about her mother figure, as she knew what was about to happen to her, but she did it for a reason. She would be sent stumbling to the side from a return slap from the other woman in the ring, who looks ready to fight her at this point, but she does what she does best and talks her way out of it.

She rubs her red cheek with her hand and gives her friend a cheeky grin, knowing that she got what she wanted from the bigger woman. "Well, I guess I deserved that one, huh. But you just proved my point, Kennedy... That you're so easygoing that all I had to do was say a few words and you're as mad as a bull in a china shop.' As she would brush her hair to the side with her hand, she said, "But you set yourself up for failure, my friend, and you want to know why... Kat has her little masked idiots running around to keep her back safe because you're fighting a losing battle by yourself. "All the while, Alaina has her little stooge and the locker room's respect if needed... and this is why your dreams are nothing more than a fantasy."

Before getting up close and personal with Kennedy, breast to breast, "How about we change that?" "Hmm, let me be the devil's advocate with you, Kennedy. As much as you hate to admit it, you need someone to watch your back, and that someone is me and Cyber Legacy." "I'm sure you can picture you and me, Serilda and Theresa, dominating this company and reclaiming what is rightfully ours."

Kennedy just looked at Ana talk about how she had proven her point about being quick to anger and Kennedy just smirked at the idea. She walked off from Ana before getting back in her face a few moments later. The jungle woman raised her mic and started speaking again.

“Let’s not pretend you didn’t give me a chance. You slapped me, I slap ya back. You beat my ass, I'm only going to kick yours twice as hard. If I didn’t do anything, you’d call me weak, scared, afraid to fight back. You think you walked me into the corner, but I just did what any normal woman would do. Doesn’t matter if it’s me or any other woman back there. Now, I can’t say you wouldn’t be on your ass if it was say….Aurora…you did that to, but with me, you got off real lucky,” Kennedy began to explain. “I’ve got numbers should I need them, but I ain’t gonna pretend that Kat and Alania are these devious people that will just gang up on me. They’ll just preach and preach of how they can do it themselves.”

Ana then brought an offer forward of the jungle queen joining Cyber Legacy and stand on top with them, but the crowd immediately drowned the idol out screaming “NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!” They didn’t like Kennedy sure, but joining up with three dangerous ladies wasn’t gonna be good for the jungle queen or the crowd or the wrestlers in the back. However, Kennedy wasn’t having any of it.

“No! NO! NO! You people don’t get to decide for me!” Kennedy ordered as she turned to the crowd to yell at them trying to direct traffic. “You want me to join you three? It’s tempting….I do need people watching my back. But….I ….don’t know. How can you ensure that mother of yours won’t try to cleave my head in? Both of us want the title. I can only imagine you’ll get yelled at for letting her greatest nuisance into the faction. I trust you, funny enough, and I’m sure Serilda won’t care as long as I stay out of her business, but Thereisa won’t be easily convinced.”

showing off why she is the brains while her sister and mother figure are the muscles of the group. Ana would hold her hands up in an almost peaceful manner as she gave off another million-dollar smile for good measure. "Temper, temper, Kennedy... Luck has nothing to do with it, you know. "At the end of the day, what I said is true, and you can deny it or run from it, but you know I am right and I am inevitable," she says without even flinching at the larger woman standing in front of her.

But hearing her friend say what is on her mind when it comes to the fans trying to make the choice for her and the lingering issues between the younger woman and her mother since Theresa has made it clear that she doesn't care for the blond wrestler and would sooner try to break Kennedy's neck than help her at this time

But she doesn't need to know that little bit at all, so Ana would do what she does best. "Well, that's the thing about making deals with the devil, Kennedy. "You don't know what happens in the end, but my offer doesn't last long." "You can either join us and dominate this company or you can fail and be nothing more than a stumbling block in our path." And then, when my mother becomes a champion,... You Couldn't Live With Your Own Failure, So Where Did That Get You? "Back to me and the offer I made you." Ana says before dropping the mic right in Kennedy's face.

Kennedy glared down at Ana as the idol made it simple and clear. Join the group or become a walking target for them. She had to admit that the offer was tempting and her and Ana got along before the usually nice gal turned into this devious schemer. One thing she couldn’t shake was Thereisa and her working together. Before Cyber Widow left, Kennedy and her were mortal enemies ready to kill each other in the aftermath of We Are LAW where Thereisa called Astrid a failure for the heavyweight division after suffering a monumental loss. Kennedy, being the delusional hero she was, planned a fight against Thereisa and after the older veteran injured a innocent Young Lioness working on the ring crew, Kennedy had it out for her and they fought until Cyber Widow called her family in to cause a stalemate. Thereisa would then later be suspended by management for events that her daughter, Serilda, had caused.

However, it’s clear Cyber Legacy can’t stay down even if you put a bullet in their brains. They still kick and breathe even when on their last legs and they can be rebuilt from the wreckage. Ana was an example of that donning this new character change as The Murder Princess and wanting to pound Kennedy into the dirt for her hurtful words against Thereisa. At the same time, Ana wanted to give Kennedy a new lease in her battle for the Heavyweight Championship and possibly work together in order to make sure they stand tall at the top of LAW. But who’s to say that the mountain top is big enough for them all? Who’s to say she won’t be kicked right back down as Thereisa mocks her holding the belt they both want so badly?

“Ana….I’ll strike my own offer with you. I think I can get to the top on my own. It’s pretty evident since I’m undefeated in this ring. Over the last 16 years of my career, I’ve proven I can get the job done whether in America, Mexico, or even Japan. If you think I’m so useless alone, let’s put it to the test. You, me, Serilda, and Thereisa. A gauntlet match. Me against your own family. If I win, you three get the hell out of my sight and out of my way. …..but….if I lose, maybe I’ll admit you’re right and I’ll join Cyber Legacy with no hesitation. Just don’t expect the fury of the jungle to be any less painful for you, your sister, and especially your bitch mother!” Kennedy exclaimed as she clonked Ana on the head with her microphone before escaping outside.

Kennedy went over to the ramp and began her walk up it smirking as she saw the fallen idol in the ring. She made an audible yell of saying “See you next week, pretty princess!” before storming up the ramp ready to put on the fight of her life for next week’s war.

Ana was sure her offer to Kennedy was the one to seal the coffin. She was confident that Kennedy would join the group rather than risk being jumped and beaten by her and her family... but the blond does something that shocks her but doesn't surprise her at all, as the wild blond has been known to go too far or do things on her own. As she heard the counter offer and just when she was about to reply to it, her friend cold-clocked her in the head with the microphone before quickly getting out of the ring to make the distance between them.

Ana is holding her head with her hand, glaring at what just happened, but she gets to her feet and smirks, knowing that Kennedy doesn't have a chance in hell at winning the gauntlet match as Serilda is right now one of the top members of the group and Thereisa has been licking her chops at getting the young woman to teach her place in the company.
