Katherine Scarlett “The Drifter” vs Eve Summers “The DJ”
Spoiler
Image
This match won’t be the most intense on the roster but by no means will it lack any amount of fun with the two personalities in the ring. We have the 119 pounds of power that is Katherine Scarlett, also known as the Drifter, taking on the always crowd pleasing DJ turned wrestler Evelyn Summers.” “That's funny, talking to Katherine herself she is constantly talking about how much she enjoys hearing Eve’s music which I think is the closest to a connection we will get with this match.” “Yes, it's truly just a match between two spirited competitors, but that is hardly new to either of them judging by their history.” “I don’t see anything wrong with that, they’re both entertaining ladies. They can work to make this crowd explode, feud or no feud.” “Oh come on Tammy we both know the fans don’t care for sportsmanship, we want to see some action and heated one, this is just two girls going at it.” “I can enjoy the work any of our wrestlers put out without them needing to want to kill their opponent, you should learn to do that as well, Jenna. If we just look at the Drifter alone we know we are getting a fight.” “For someone so small it's astounding how much power this young girl seems to have, a fighter just trying to make ends meet and no serious sense of ambition in a cutthroat profession that loves to chew out girls like her.” “Her lack of desire for things beyond making ends doesn’t equate a lack of passion for her job or determination. Our little Drifter knows she’s the smallest girl in most fights; often because she tends to punch above her weight class, but let me tell you she can certainly punch.” “Weight classes aren’t an end to things in wrestling or any sport. Could someone who’s down 20 or 30 pounds behind an opponent still win despite their opponent clearly having power behind them? Yes, but you're an idiot if you think that weight gap makes no difference. Its things like this that make the Drifter so amazing, she's taking on middleweights and even lightweights or far outclass her in power despite her brawler skills being at a disadvantage in such a thing and even when taking some of their biggest hits she’s getting up and fighting back as if she belonged in that same class.” “I guess an early life as a criminal makes you capable of learning how to take hits from other thugs.” “Jenna, cool it. We don’t hold stuff like that against people here. She did some bad things but she’s far and away done her best to move past that which we should be applauding.” “Not like you would ever be able to tell she used to be a criminal, she acts sickenly sweet to everyone she meets. Well, almost everyone. We know certain people are on her bad list, but we can't really blame someone for lacking a positive opinion of women like Sandy White.

She’s about as nice as her opponent, with a better record to boot. Eve Summers has the looks and she knows how to flaunt them, but not much else I think works for her.” “Obnoxious show off wouldn’t be nearly as popular if she wasn’t hot as hell and nearly naked.” “Eve was popular before she joined LAW...DJ isn’t just a nickname for her.” “Music and wrestling are two different beasts, both are cutthroat but I doubt DJ’s see the worst of it, and Eve clearly hasn’t seen the best of wrestling.” “Eve’s skills in the ring are less about the killer power you would see from Scarlett and more the athletic background befitting luchadors, shes fast and agile which works with her fit body to wow fans and give opponents a hard time.” “Despite what Jenna thinks Eve is no dainty flower you can't just push over and expect her to wilt, she takes abuse in that ring and pushes back until she’s at her limit, foes who underestimate her soon find themselves in deep, deep trouble.” “Her grit is one trait she and Katherine share in this match with the two expected to be on even ground should the match go the distance which one can endure more will be the major question.” “Eve’s record, which Jenna uses to dismiss her chances in this match started with her victory over Irelia Xu in a standard match in which Eve beat Irelia when Ms. Xu brought her shoulders down longer than expected and ended up getting pinned while holding Eve in a submission.” “You say that like it’s not a good reason for skepticism. Eve was beaten and we all saw it.” “We all saw her leg on the ropes to break the pin while she brought her opponent's shoulders to the mat to win.” “So what's the excuse for the rematch?” “It's a rematch...it has no bearing on who lost or won the first match.” “You can lose the first time around completely legit and win the second, that's the fun of competition you know that Jenna.” “Ugh..whatever, her record still isn't great with that being her only win. Since that lose Xu got her win back, she was beat by Peggy in a straightforward match and her last match was a submissive loss to Kyoko Akan.” “All of which she performed admirably and was up against opponents that otherwise are tough to beat. In this match she even has a weight advantage. Not that would deter her opponent, Katherine is usually down weight wise but still putting up a fight.” “I do agree with Jenna in regards to the Drifter having the advantage but I’m confident she can still win if she puts in enough effort, and the match should be one hell of a bout.

Izuka Midoryia vs Clara GASTER
Spoiler
Image
So this is rare but we did get a mixed match up on the main PPV after all, a rematch of a previous bout.” “An ironman rematch from the looks of things it seems no matter what these two will settle the matter of superiority here and now between Izuka Midoryia better known as Deku taking on the infamous Clara GASTER.” “That first match was awesome, if any fan saw it they would know that we are in for so much more. But it did leave a few unresolved matters, which this match is going to great lengths to resolve. Nothing more decisive than an ironman match. Clara GASTER is one who’s well known enough in LAW she almost doesn’t need an explanation, but since it's our job we will do our part. In the early days of LAW Clara was known as one of the prime stars in the lightweight division, with many suspecting she would be the first holder of the belt. Clara, known mostly back then as the masked wrestler GASTER is the older sibling between her and Alice, even if she doesn’t look it, her technical skill was matched only by her theatrics as the Shadow lord of wrestling.” “But nothing in wrestling is certain, that's for sure, while Clara was a strong contender in the end she would need to earn that belt like everyone else did and like with the Middleweight belt there was a tournament to decide who would walk away with the title as its inaugural champ. Training under the Red dragon Lyanna Eon to prepare for such an occasion Clara started in the tournament fighting in a qualifying round against Ruby Blaze, a close bout that put all that training to the test before she hit her with Destiny’s end to win.” “Hell of a fight, and that was just the qualifying round, tougher opponents still had to be overcome and Clara soon found herself in front of one when she went toe to toe with Adriana Scarlett. Another tough fight but the end result was the same, Destiny’s end and a pinfall finish. In the semi’s Clara met dancer Miranda Tomi, but once again LAW’s own Shadow Lord was too much for the cutie anda Destiny’s end propelled Clara to the finals.” “But unlike the famous Tina Armstrong, hard work and a big name didn’t pay off. We Are LAW 2 saw GASTER pitted against Aoi Fukiwara, what followed was a hellacious battle that proved both women belonged in that match, but not even Destiny’s end would be enough to secure victory with Aoi kicking out of the move at the last second, here we see what happens when someone is pressured, champs push through, everyone else panics and that's exactly what GASTER did. Which is why she’s not the champ.” “Harsh words aside it was clear Clara had no plan for what would happen if Aoi kicked out, her body language told the whole story and from that Aoi took control and hit the Crucifix to pin Clara and become the first Lightweight Champion in LAW’s history.” “It was a bittersweet sight, truthfully both girls deserved the belt, but in this kind of sport someones getting pushed down the ladder.” “Bittersweet it may be the fact of the matter is in the end Clara failed, which she took with the expected results, a long road that ended in failure is rarely treated like nothing with Clara taking some time to recuperate.” “Since coming back she seems to have toned down the Gimmicks for wrestling, which isn't to say they have gone away but it's not in focus as much as it was before.” “Should never have been the focus. If you can’t maintain that act don’t bother with it, no one wants half ass work. She can either be the wicked Shadow Lord or the cute little Clara, not both. Would make this match more entertaining if she was the former given who Izuka Midoryia is..swear I read that name in a book somewhere.

"In a battle of good vs evil, this fighter would certainly portray the good. Izuka or Deku as he’s often taken to calling himself is the son of a famous high flying face here in Japan, a single mother who seems to have brought her never give up attitude down on her son.” “Now she just needs to bring her better record down because at 3 wins and 3 losses young Midoryia here is in danger of disappointing if those bigger numbers go up faster.” “He’s just starting out, and already looks amazing in the ring. Despite being so young he’s shown a surprising awareness of his limits and strategy when it comes to matches, and has displayed an incredible amount of endurance.” “Such ‘incredible endurance’ just makes his losses go on longer, the match that got him this contract was a loss to his old school bully Bakugo, and his never quit attitude meant nothing when he was tapping out to Ryori Beck. Every man has his limits and Deku’s has been hitting his pretty fast for someone I’m supposed to believe can endure a lot.” Tammy huffed at Jenna’s harsh words but Robin cut in before another argument could break out. “Deku has not let such losses deter him, when faced with interviews, well interviews that he could actually talk too given he seems to be rather awkward outside of the ring, he showed the various things he learned from each loss he’s suffered with a clear desire to improve in every possible way. His notes are actually very detailed, with in-depth learnings like that if he actually applies them he could improve soon enough. Still like Jenna said it is clear he has some growing pains to overcome as his fortitude alone won’t win matches.” Tammy and Jenna stared at each other, debating whether to continue but it was clear that now was not the time and both went on. “O-one thing that gets attention is endurance because of how it relates to Clara, who has been known to not be the best at endurance at all, unlike some of Deku’s other opponents if the battle becomes a back and forth bout he’s more likely to win.” “If Clara is smart she will avoid a war of attrition for this match and stick to her speed, while Deku is fast, I think Clara is faster. Bring him down, hold him down and soon that stamina will wear out. Easy win for GASTER.” “Both are good points but, the big difference is in Deku’s strategies, the two have already fought once, and Deku’s was a fan before all this, he will know what to try and do, making this a fight that is in his favor. GASTER can only evade so much in an Ironman match, if she doesn’t wear him down fast enough the closing minutes of the match could be a nightmare for her.” “Strategies only work with people able to apply them, this is the first rematch Deku’s been in as far as I recall. Clara has faced many opponents twice and knows about adjusting to win a match, experience is her game even if she’s nervous about it which I can assure you that boy is even more nervous then she is. I just think this goes her way no matter how much Deku tries to avoid it."

Cali Mcloud and Ayumi Gozen vs Jem Holland and Lexy Alan
Spoiler
Image
Near the top of the card we have the only tag match scheduled and it’s not one you’d expect. Rather than a battle between known or established tag teams it’s more a personal feud that just so happens to involve a few other girls with the long term rivalry between Cali Mcloud and Jem Holland reaching an apex with Ayumi Gozen and Lexy Alan joining the fray.” “I’m all for a good tag bout, but I have to admit I find the situation shocking and the Prisoner of War stipulation added onto it a bit excessive all things considered.” “Not surprised Tammy’s a square but I love a good POW match and we both know Robin’s views thanks to her article.” “I merely discussed the basics and ethics of it and felt it appropriate to stay. I never gave my opinion on them and do find that some matches don’t really need them. Having said that, I feel this is fine, given the history and the fact it's more about avoiding a POW situation rather than being in one.” “I’m fine with some POW matches girls, my gripe is that it feels tacked on and from such a random place.” “We will get into that, with this match we have a lot to talk about. Mainly the history between these women and how they came to this.” “The story mostly follows the main players Cali and Jem who have met several times before and can be considered rivals, if not the most traditional kind, which I like, it's all about variety to me!” “Cali and Jem met for the first time at a PPV undercard match of the second edition of We are LAW. A standard match that seemingly was just going to be filler before the main course.” “But on LAW anything can happen and what seemed to be a simple match turned into the birth of a long and underscored tale on LAW’s many stories. You see while Cali was more a traditional wrestler who was just here to do her job, get paid and maybe make some fans in her matches Jem Holland uses what many have started to do now, use social media to boost her popularity!” “Jem is a streamer which if you don’t know what that is it involves having live footage; hence live streaming, of the streamer doing something that captivates an audience. This can involve vlogging, painting, gaming, reading, etc to gain an audience. Having never seen any of her streams I’m not sure what she does exactly on them but we will put a link below so you can see for yourself.

Actually Robin I have seen her streams, most of the time it’s gaming but she even streams matches when she can, and they’re her most popular type of streams. Her debut match was streamed at her apartment against Zoey Hamilton and is still one of her most watched ones!” “Well that does explain a few things but since you know so much do you want to continue Tammy?” “Oh happy to do so, Jem hyped up her PPV match for weeks taking time in her streams to boast of her squashing Cali and even showing off her training regiment on the stream, she seemed in great shape. At the event itself sadly things took a tumble.” “Took a tumble? That's generous to this dumb bi-” “Hey!” “Blonde! I was going to say blonde get off my back Tammy. Jem came to the match and like she had been saying, announced her intent to squash Cali in front of Cali. Naturally, Cali had to show Jem she meant business and did so quickly knocking her around and hitting her with the Terra Driver; her finisher at around the minute and 20 mark. Ending the match before 2 minutes had even gone by. It was a disaster and Jem should be lucky she even still had a contract or subscribers after that ass kicking.
Good thing Jenna isn’t in charge of how that works, people are more forgiving then that. Despite the loss Jem remained positive and continued on her normal path, while both girls seemingly moved on from that encounter it seemed fate decided they must meet again for Cali ended up on Jem’s stream when Jem announced she would be having a match with her once more but on a padded floor rather then a proper ring.” “But she lost again! And lost fans to Cali’s power while Cali showed off her guns.” “She didn’t lose fans, Cali gained some.” “Yeah that's what Jem would tell you.” “I can see Jem’s count while she’s streaming. It hasn't gone down since, in fact it’s increased.” “You can fudge tho-” “Would you two please get back on track. Because that wasn’t the first time they streamed a fight, according to this.” “Oh alright...well yes they fought again in another stream Jem wanting to redeem her past losses and said triple or nothing with Prisoner of War rules attached, she gave it her all but Cali just beat her down again and sent her out.” “Which is more than enough to prove you're just better, beat someone once it can be dismissed three times in a row Jem is just too far behind.” “Was...Was too far behind and besides those fights were glorified streams with no actual merit to them, Jem lost but Cali doesn’t really gain a record for them since they happened so suddenly.” “But they did the job they needed to, which was get Cali’s name out their, so much so that she became an actual contender for the heavyweight title meeting champ Linda and fellow challenger Astrid in a triple threat match in the Main event for the coveted Heavyweight championship.” “Sadly it was not to be, not only did Cali not win the match she was the one who ended up pinned to give the belt to Astrid, a loss which had to sting after the years of momentum she had been building.

To make matters worse she went from that main event to the undercard again to have a rematch with Jem Holland...and somehow she lost!” “She had control again but when going for a finish Jem slipped out and rolled her up, people mock those kinds of finishes but with the right grip and momentum a roll up can be effective at just stopping all momentum and using it against you.” “This all leads us to this match now, you see earlier we said that Jem’s third bout with Cali was under a Prisoner of War rule, but Cali herself never actually made use of that opportunity which she was all too happy to remind Jem of recently. She did this while also providing an out, if Jem could beat her in this match she won’t have to endure the Prisoner of War time her third loss brought her. But as a tag match she needs to not only be prepared to take on Cali but have a good partner.

"Which leads us to our other players in this little dance. Ayumi Gozen is a friend and new tag partner of Cali who helped her improve following her unfortunate losses after the failed title bid, making the already impressive Cali into an even bigger force of nature. Undefeated in LAW so far and a 4th degree Black Belt in Judo Ayumi is just one more powerhouse on our roster that continues to impress everyone and everything. Just imagine the ways she’s helped Cali improve and obviously the advantage goes to the powerhouse team of roommates over the tag team of random interests.” “It's not completely random, While Jem is a streamer she’s used to being a show host at times much like Lexy Alan who’s known as the host of the Lexinomicon when she’s not wrestling.” “Vague similarities only go so far. Jem had a lot of partners to choose from I’m sure, so one of them had to be better than the girl who has yet to pick up a win and the most interesting thing about her is being a real fighter's bitch.” “Hey don’t go insulting Lexy like that!” “Like what? A loser? Because she is, her only win is a handicap match where her partner Sam had to carry her through. Rose Gold turning her into her pet is the best thing that could happen to her, but right now Rose Gold isn’t here so Lexy will just end up playing the tool again.” “Unless she’s learned something in the exchange.” “Rose is her master not her teacher, Lexy will play things up like Jem does and her only hope because of that is another cheap roll up. I suspect Jem and Lexy get tossed around by cooperative wrestlers and Jem ends up on a stream as Cali’s seat.

Sienna Smith vs Wicke Sykes
Spoiler
Image
If you ask me it’s long overdue for this fighter to have gotten on the main card, Sienna Smith has been around big names and kept herself looking in great shape throughout her career so it’s only fitting she make her way to the beaches to show off once more. Her opponent, one Wickie Sykes is also making a PPV debut for the main card, being one of the more prominent growing number of MILF’s looking to show her up. For all the good that will do.” “If I didn’t know any better I’d say Sienna has an agenda against women over 40.” “I’m pretty sure she has said something to that effect before but knowing her it could be trash talk. She did spend a lot of time getting into it with Aliana Sanders.” “Well she gets her name out in the end so maybe she should show the older crowd how it works, really I don’t know why any fan would be upset with the results. We should want girls like Sienna walking away with the win here, what are girls like Sanders good for if not for making sure the newer and younger talent gets proper showcasing? Sienna is making a name for herself in her own way and I respect her for that!” “Well she does at least have a history of making sure people know who she is, even if her attitude is a bit lacking in what most would want from her in respect. Smith's most famous moments are tied to Aliana Sanders in their long grudge feud where the young and beautiful Sienna tried to take fame hand over fist from the aging but still lovely veteran. The two battled it out for years before the rubber match between them seemingly putting things on ice for now.” “Nothing ended. Sienna made that clear when she pummeled the old bat after that fluke win! A few years from now she will be a bigger star and you two will be struggling to even remember Sanders name.” “I doubt that given Aliana’s storied career.” “And I’m not entertaining that. The point I was getting to was that while that is her biggest moment, she has more memorable matches to her name and in LAW that have made her standout. Her two matches with Gabriella Guerrero the latter of which she won putting the sexy latina through a table, her feud with Katsumi Oshiro where she nearly took the spirited rebels property, and a series of other wins with few losses. She has been an incredibly skilled athlete with almost no serious weakness as a wrestler as she’s shown over and over again. She has been able to wrestle any kind of style she wants and match an opponent, the only time I felt she was ever in a losing battle was her loss in a submission match to Gabriella and that was more a testament to Gabriella’s skills rather than Sienna’s lack of it.” “You could really see her skill in her feud with Aliana, the brawling done between them saw Sienna show she can take hits from a semi truck and keep fighting but give it back with the speed of a car. I still can’t believe that she had no serious training before she joined LAW, she’s a bonafide house built talent.

Unlike her opponent another in a growing list of vets we have gotten which is great for having people who know how to do stuff but if you ask me some of them would be better off not in the ring.” “Older and old are not the same thing, at 43 Wicke Sykes is still in fighting shape she could easily go 5 more years before she would have to worry about retiring or being considered too old.” “I do not want to see some 48 year old wrestler still trying to go. Hopefully someone reminds her of her place before then.” “Ignoring Jenna for a moment-” “Really we should do that about 90% of the time.” “-Wicke Sykes is one who understands wrestling, not only is she a great wrestler capable of keeping up with opponents half her age but she understands the showmanside of the business. Her lifestyle and motherly attitude, intelligence are all her but she leans into it just the right way to make sure she is always standing out beyond just being a wrestler on the older spectrum.” “She’s crazy smart! I politely stopped her to ask some important questions and got a full on lecture. Not that I’m complaining, she was very informative and I learned so much.” “Oh my gosh you sound like a child, have any stats about her in ring career Tammy?” “Actually I do, because I take my job seriously. Wicke came in with a loss to Alisha grace, but since then has been on a tear taking down opponent after opponent without a loss. Beating girls like Dana Ashford and both halves of the Wings of Wrestling in singles action, as you can probably tell by her look she specializes in smothers, which coming from her I imagine feels like being wrapped in a warm and snug blanket.” “Wicke has maintained momentum throughout the years, having been featured on many magazine articles, namely ones that rank wrestlers. She was no. 5 in top wrestling moms, no. 4 in top 5 cutest butts, and was considered in the top 4 for worthy contenders for a smother championship.” “Two of those articles were written by the same person who selfishly put her name at the top of that second list so don’t pay too much attention to that.” “Everyone who can write an article is allowed to do so because LAW finds it has merit.” “If that helps them think they made a point, sure.” “Let’s not do this on someone else’s time. In the long run the conversation shows that among LAW’s mothers Wicke has proven to be a stand out wrestler who will bring eyes to the product for years to come, and educate fans if need be.

Attempting to educate is actually how this whole thing started, in a local library near an arena we were having a show at, Wicke took it upon herself to hold a lesson there, I’m not sure if this a common thing for her or if it was an idea she was just recently starting up. Either way I don’t see her trying it too much in the future, after getting everything set up she left to go do some reading herself when according to her she came back and the room was open wide with her notes ruined and Sienna the culprit in the middle of the act.” “It was just a prank.” “Prank’s don’t involve taking notes of paper and ripping them up in front of the one who did them. We call that cruelty.” “I call it a tough lesson on growing into the times, no one’s going to be focused on papers and boards in this age, she’d be better off making youtube videos for her lectures those are easy to follow.” “Wicke and Sienna got into it over this incident, with Wicke chasing Sienna down and nearly smothering her out, only stopping because she realized that fighting in a place of learning was not the most ideal spot.” “I’m surprised they got that far into it without some stern librarian coming around to shush them. I will give Wicke credit on her taking advantage of the situation to make a match. While I have no doubt in my mind she will lose, she did essentially move herself up onto the main card of the event and all she had to do was lose some research. That and it just makes good business sense, as I said earlier she gets wrestling more than most.” “Well she will need to know more than just the business to win, Sienna has competed with top talent and won’t be beaten by a pair of large tits, Wicke is going to learn what the future holds for her real soon.

Rei Tachibana vs Rindo Kobatashi Sexfight Championship match
Spoiler
Image
Well now we get to one of the biggest matches on the card, the title match for the Hentai championship.” “Actually at the request of the current champion who is doing a great job, I think it's important to address it by her current name for it, the Sexfight championship.” “The title and it’s champion have plenty of history to go over, to say nothing of the challenges she and her opponent have endured to get this far for this big moment. Rei Tachibana has worked hard to overcome the various barriers between her and the usual respect given to the name of the belt and Rindo.” Before she could speak further she was cut off by Jenna “Has lucked her way into such a big moment by appealing to Rei’s lust. Honestly if Rei was looking to really make a name for the Hentai division she would have started better than someone like Rindo.” “Rindo is hardly an unworthy opponent.” “She’s known for her sexy defeats rather than her victories. She's basically a jobber to the stars; no one expects her to actually beat Rei given Rei’s history.” “Rei has been a worthy champion but she was not always the biggest one in the yard. But she has always been working hard to get to that level. When everything started in LAW Rei was first trying to make her name known by working her way into the Middleweight title scene but was otherwise unable to secure a top spot given the long list of solid competitors that were also competing for that spot, but she soon took to her other talents in pursuit of glory when she challenged Eirina Makishima for the Hentai championship. Eirina of course being the inaugural champion who won it at the hentai centric PPV LAW of Love hosted by GM of the division Celesete Amour.” “Eirina had been a good champion with her victory at the PPV before she defended the belt against Kieda in spectacular fashion but then she defended it in a triple threat match against Eileen and Ducky Williams proving herself very versatile in the ring. Rei would have her third defense but unlike the others Rei was far more prepared.” “While some might say Eirina is the better wrestler no one can dispute the match the results of who’s the better sexfighter, at We are LAW 3 Rei endured everything the champ threw at her and had her singing like bird before her climax to take the belt and since then the competitive but laid back challenger has stepped it up a notch.” “As the second champion, Rei wanted to make sure she lived up to the standards set by her to continue the belt’s prestige following it’s impressive inaugural champ but she also wanted it to have more respect overall. Her first order of business was renaming the belt into the Sexfighting championship which she feels is more accurate and carries far more weight to it.” “LAW would like to remind people that despite Rei’s name change that LAW itself does not recognize the name change as our CEO Dan DeFranco felt the need to make clear shortly after she made this announcement.”I don’t really see the problem if anything the name sounds better.” “It’s a branding issue at the very least, I’m sure there are other matters with official names business wise that Dan has to deal with but at the end of the day he is the man in charge, not that this stopped Rei.” “Why would it? Rei is a competitor and any competitor sees stuff like that as a challenge, when Dan made it clear that no such change was official Rei merely told him that as long as the belt was in her delicate hands she would let it be called nothing else.” “So far she is willing to walk the walk and talk the talk. Her first title defense which was by no means easy was against the flashy, sexy, and sadomasochistic Rosy Reyes at We are LAW 4 in a Just Desserts match. Rosy gave it her all but fell to Rei’s sexual prowess and wrestling skill, outsexed and piledrived into the pool where Rei pinned Rosy looking like a million bucks despite clearly being worn down by the match.

That is her first and so far only title defense, while she has won non-title matches since then she hasn’t defended the belt outside of PPV’s” “Smart decision, if you ask me making sure your big matches are only on must see events is part of raising the prestige of the belt, making sure it's not just seen as a title for deviants and perverts.” “While Jenna may have a point, Rei has not been idle just because she’s not defending her title on a constant basis, and her next opponent Rindo is all too willing to see that the title keeps its prestige when she wins it over her.” “The redheaded barbarian won over fans instantly just from her look and personality, I mean who can say not to a strong looking redhead who likes to get frisky with her opponents? I know I’d be chomping at the bits to get a closer look at her. Unfortunately she has come off as more bark than bite.” “Some early losses have ruined an aura of dominance for some people but that is only if you look on paper, actually seeing the matches shows a tough competitor that is hard to keep down and is all to happy to play games with her opponents given her own sex drive. It makes her a worthy opponent for Rei who I’m sure deep down is just itching to have the redhead wrap her hands around her waist.” “She’d have a hard time winning from there.” “I’m sure she’d find a way.” “Actually they already had a slight preview of what a match between them would entail. What set this up was a meeting between the two in the showers. I’m not sure who confronted who, most likely Rindo since Rei says she was just trying to relax but the end result was that the two got to know each other a little.” “Oh, that doesn’t surprise me, if you saw a chance like that and didn’t take it you didn’t belong here, credit to Rindo for initiative if she is lacking in winning records.” “Be prepared to give her more credit, soon after the Rei made her intent to challenge Rindo clear, by all accounts when it was all said and done Rindo walked away from the showers while Rei took longer to recover and then clean up. Even if it was unofficial the self proclaimed Sexfighting champion was dominated on her home turf and now she must make a point to show that she can beat Rindo or Rindo deserves those belts more than she does. This match will be eye-opening, while Rei’s history in the hentai/sexfighting division is well documented, Rindo actually hasn’t done it in the ring very often.” “We are positive she’s done it plenty outside of the ring but Tammy’s point is that LAW officials have not been privy to most of her experiences, so we have no real recorded data of it.” “Rei knows given this shower meeting but that would just be a taste, the only recorded match Rindo has in hentai is actually an opponent Rei met as well Karla Reinhardt. Rei met her in a Hardstyle Hentai match which was everything you could hope for in the hentai division, a hardfought rough and tumble before the champ proved herself the better and pinned her exhausted opponent to the mat. It was the kind of match you’d see for the belt.” “It was an impressive match but you could argue Rindo was more impressive, Rei and Karla went at it for a long time, when Karla met Rindo Karla was soon on the retreat from the action sexually dominated while Rindo was able to keep going, Karla’s confidence faltered under the barbarians might if only for a moment. Still a moment is all she will need. I accept that Rindo seems to be a better challenger then I initially pegged her for but she will be facing the best at this kind of game, not someone the champ has already beat. And if you agree with Re Tachibana’s desire to rechristen the title and the division as a whole make sure to let LAW know on its website, like we said no such change has been made official but we would love to what your thoughts on the matter as we prepare for the PPV, I can at least can respect a good revolution that Rei seems eager to cause.

Lillian Byrne vs Erin Quinn Middleweight championship match
Spoiler
Image
While we have many matches and plenty of title matches this one has plenty of history being the oldest belt made certainly helps but what also tells the story of how far the title has come in LAW it’s from the fact that the challenger was in the tournament to crown the inaugural champion and the champion wasn’t even in the company when it was made.” “Champion Lillian Byrne refuses to let this year be the end of her run and she has fierce competition in the form of Erin Quinn who we mentioned earlier was the finalist who came one match short of being the first holder of that title.” “So she can make a two time loser, good for her?” “Jenna, seriously.” “Look I have high praises for Erin, she did a good job in that tournament but that day was a wake up call that she’s not ready for the top spot and it was her best moment, nothing she’s done since has inspired me to think she can reach that level again.” “She made it back here didn’t she?” “She made it back here because she was hand picked by the company which seems more to spite the champ than it is to actually put her up against a challenger worth her time. Not for the most prestigious belt in LAW.”We have already talked about the Middleweight belts history in the context of Tina Armstrong the first title holder, but the two missing pieces that were less explored was the opponent she faced when she won that belt and the current holder the girl who actually took the belt from Tina after a long and successful reign.” “You see as previously mentioned Erin Quinn took part in the opening Middleweight tournament, her opening bout with AJ Eastwood was a fairly grueling affair before the Irish lass forced her to submit to make it to the tournament proper. In the Quarterfinals she was set to do battle with Yamato Nadashiko who she made pass out in a torture rack despite some close calls. Both were some real nail biters which showed how much the whole event brought out the best in so many of our roster.” “Of course the Tournament hit a bump in the road courtesy of Chris Kelly, an unfortunate scandal broke out in the middle of the match, Chris Kelly was unable to provide proof of citizenship to the US, which was her whole gimmick, it angered sponsors and LAW had to bite the bullet and DQ Chris on the spot. So Erin lucked by on an easy win because her opponent was a fraud.” “She was doing well before that and has more than proven herself, the title match should speak volumes about her worth as a top star! She gave Tina the fight of her life.” “Yes she did but Tina actually won. Sad fact but a fact nonetheless Erin had a chance to prove that Chris Kelly’s citizenship debacle was not how she made it to the finals and she failed, Tina would not only make her way to the top she would beat the one asterisk in the tournament again to make sure you understood she was the boss.” “One failure only defines you if you refuse to move past it, Erin has done everything but let herself remain stuck on her past failures. Picking up more wins than losses since that fateful day she has kept herself in the running and our CEO noticed naming her the challenger for one Lillian and the first one the champ will fight with the new and improved belt.

Erin’s improvements are one thing but she’s fighting a true champion in Lillian. I don’t care how much disrespect they have thrown at this poor woman's she has proven herself to be the epitome of everything we strive to have in a champion. LAW would never disrespect Tina like this so why are they doing it with her? It’s favoritism I tell you!” “Tina usually didn’t get in the faces of LAW officials and was what a champion should be to the fans, something Lillian doesn’t care about.” “What kind of standards are that?” “The standards for a champion. LAW can’t survive with people who seem to want to drive fans off.” “While Lillian has all the talent to keep that belt, she’s easily more divisive as a champ to fans then her rival Tina ever was. But the important thing is that she is the champion regardless of who likes it after goading, angering, and even jumping Tina until she angered the champ enough to get a title shot the two met in a cell where Lillian eventually overpowered and forced the first real champion LAW had to submit in the middle of the ring. Cementing herself as one of the best wrestlers LAW has to this day!” “While some may argue back and forth on that, the fact is that Tina did lose the match, with any excuse on being hurt or her schedule being mute since Tina was the one who laid out the challenge and the time. But enough about her the focus should be on the champ herself.” “Lillian as some already know came into LAW early in 2018 where she and Bianca Valentine debuted in the same match, where despite an early showing by Bianca that seemed poised to win her the match she was put down and forced to tap to Lillian’s Liontamer submission hold. Lillian quickly showed herself to be a ruthless and cocky fighter who didn’t take being humiliated lightly, a mistake many of her opponents made when they thought she was near the end only for Lillian herself to come alive another way and trap them in something painful before making them pay. She would defeat Kohaku, Dynamite Rin, Karen Meadows, and even Tracy Canon this way, pulling out many victories even after it seemed she was poised to lose it all before she would unseat Tina and become the Middleweight champion a year and half after she arrived.” “In fact Lillian has one of the best records in LAW history for a champ, just about every one of them has picked up a loss or two on the way to the top but Lillian’s only defeat came at the hands of Tracy in a rematch, one that Tracy goaded Lillian into and made sure she was off her game for before the match even started. Besides that everytime she gets in that ring she wins.” “Since she’s been champ Lillian has defended her belt 4 times and each time it was in fierce battles that showed just how much stuff competition awaits those in the middleweight division, first she fought Karen Meadows, a rematch over an opponent she had already beaten, but Karen wormed her way in by annoying Lillian.” “Which if you want to try that trick, just look at the match to see how well that will work out for you, Karen put on the performance of a lifetime but Lillian caught her at just the right moment and had her bending so far I thought she was going to break the former actress in two before she finally tapped out. Her hardest fight so far came at We are LAW 3 taking on Jessica Wright in a brutal Last Woman’s standing match. Wright was as brutal an opponent as you can expect from her, as I’m sure many of you already know but Lillian, like the champ , endured it all and put that beast down. Honestly this is part of my problem. Lillian is such a courageous fighter but the fans are so disrespectful to her that they ignore the almost Herakles-like willpower she possesses.” “Hard work doesn’t give you the right to be a rude human being like Lillian seems to think, or did you forget her third title defense Jenna?” “Of course I didn’t Tammy, that’s almost my favorite one.” “No surprise that it is…” “Lillian wouldn’t see a major defense of her belt until We Are LAW 4, fighting her current challenger’s sister Kiera Quinn. Though it was hardly the kind of title defense one would boast about.” “It is the perfect defense to boast about, nothing says dominant champion like taking an opponent LAW deems fit to fight for the belt and demolishing her so quickly you couldn’t even blink between the opening and closing bell! Kiera played with the big leagues and found out why we have lower cards, to keep weaklings like her from getting utterly crushed on a daily basis.” “After this win Lillian decided to humiliate Kiera further prompting Erin to come out to tell her to back off and leave her sister alone, in between that encounter and this match Erin has been racking up the wins to avenge her sister’s loss while Lillian has been around to be granted a new belt design and had her final defense to date right after that with Yuki Onna. Almost a years worth of build up to this fight we can only hope that it ends up being worth it.” “Lillian seeks to continue to prove that she’s the best and only choice for champion, while Erin is hoping to finally wash off the failure of her inaugural title loss and Kiera’s defeat, both girls have so much invested in these titles so all that can be done is to sit back and let the fireworks fly.

Astrid Ostberg vs Selket Heavyweight championship match
Spoiler
Image
This PPV is a big deal because it is the first event outside of Japan, the humble beginnings of LAW, but it is not the first time a title has been defended out of Japan which is what makes the current Heavyweight champion Astrid Ostberg so important.” “I agree, when Astrid won her title in the Triple Threat Main Event of We Are LAW 3 many questioned her decision to take that belt which had just main evented a major PPV and leave to go tour in Europe and defend it. It meant that the title she had just won would be gone from us for nearly a year and could be taken by a challenger none were familiar with, LAW even made in arranging that deal she was putting her career in the company on the line to do it. This didn’t come to pass thankfully but it wasn’t without controversy.” “Still isn’t. To this day many question the wisdom of that decision, while others argue it elevated the championship and is a reason LAW increased it’s outside presence.” “It did all work out in the end however the fact remains that the tour did keep Astrid from having a presence in the company itself for a year and during that year many of LAW’s own fighters were left to fight and scrap to prove themselves, all while being forced to wait on her while she fought in over 20 countries on the European territories. Each one where she was at risk of staying in those countries because if they took the belt from her she wouldn’t have a job here. One of the new girls who slowly rose up the ranks while she was away is the one she will be fighting now, the beautiful and dangerous Selket. The other one was one of her longtime rivals Jess McLeary who didn’t waste any time getting in her face when she finally showed it in Japan again.” “Shortly before We Are LAW 4 when Astrid did return to the crowd that was ready to blow the roof off the building seeing it’s champion again, Jess was the first to welcome her back. It wasn’t the warmest of welcomes. Instead she decided that Astrid should make her return known by battling her at the PPV. Astrid accepted and LAW made it official.” “I’m not sure if Jess thought she was clever doing so, maybe thinking after that tour Astrid would be a bit worn down with the trials she had endured, but Jess found that those trials more than prepared Astrid for her first PPV defense. When Astrid was working her way to the top, Jess had been one of the first people she fought, and Jess had proven to be Astrid’s equal by beating the Norwegian babyface, Jess had hoped to make that happen again and seemed like she could pull it off.” “Astrid dropped Jess with all of her might over a dozen times to keep the rampaging titan down but it was only when she finally hit her with Stavanger Buster did Jess finally comply. In one battle Astrid had the fans on their feet like she never left, a homecoming win that further cemented her as a worthy champion despite the controversy of her tour.” “Buuut, hehe real life isn’t a storybook, you can’t close the pages and call it a happy ending. Astrid won the match true but that just meant she had to deal with the other challengers she had left behind, all dedicated to kicking her ass until Astrid couldn’t stand, Not too long after she beat her, she found herself briefly locking horns with Cyber Widow, who nearly broke her father’s neck back when he wrestled and would make Astrid’s own the replacement for the neck that got away.” “I really don’t like the glee with which you just uttered that awful sentence. But the long of it was that despite Widow’s disgusting intentions she would take neither Astrid’s neck or her championship and we can all thank whatever god everyone believes in for that. To have such a person representing our company, disgusting.” “Yes we are quite aware of what you think of Widow’s brutal past Tammy but we have a topic and must stay on it. Widow sought to be the end of Astrid but all she did was further immortalize her as a potential all time great, with the war they waged showing her heart and grit when put under pressure. But Widow was an older opponent, one who is still in top condition but who will always be wondering if she’s in the best condition. Her current opponent Selket is not like that and is very much in the prime of her life, Astrid will need to prove that she can handle anything to prove it.

Not only is Selket a younger opponent, she’s one who goes against the grain when it comes to heeavyweights. She uses her brain, rather than rely on her muscles. I love that, we need more of that and less meatheads in this division.” “What I’m sure Jenna meant to say and not come off as a rude bitch was that Jess and Widow are powerful opponents fitting the heavyweight name. They hit hard, move fast and are not people you want to eat a punch from. Selket is in that same weight class but while she can also pack a punch you will find that her skills don’t end at her power.” “Selket loves to make a show of things, and like many shows she wants your attention, your praise, and will sometimes misdirect you. This can be good for fans but not so much for opponents, as many have found out it's not a good idea to ignore anything Selket does, everything she says and does is done with the sole purpose of winning the match. So far it’s worked with her distractions, submissions, and sometimes foul play has ensured she’s remained a force of nature while staying a mystery.” “I can never turn down a good showman, with one’s like Selket making damn sure that you want to watch them over and over again just to appreciate the genius behind how they pull it off. I can never rewatch an Astrid match, you see her fighting spirit once you’ve seen it before. But Selket? No one match can be watched just once.” “The Egyptian was named no. 1 contender shortly after Widow was defeated, something that became known to the public when Astrid unveiled the new design for the Heavyweight belt, when Selket attacked Astrid during the celebration, only stopping when Defranco interrupted to remind her what she risked losing by ruining a monumental moment.” “A calculated risk but one that paid off. Since she did that she hasn’t escaped the fans' minds or the discussion, she’s made her match far above a simple grudge match.” “When the bell rings all those mind games won’t mean anything, Selket will have to show something besides cheap attacks or simple submissions, all of which Astrid has overcome before.” “Now as much as we’d like to keep going on about this, We must take you to the arena where Selket and Astrid will be having a weigh-in before the event, approved by LAW to be here for your viewing pleasure.” Soon music blared and the crowd could tell it was Astrid’s “In fact here’s the champ now to grace us with her presence.

Spoiler
At last, the time had come for the LAW Heavyweight Champion to make her appearance. The crowd began to cheer from the moment the triumphant music played over the speakers - but the cheers grew even louder as Astrid Ostberg emerged from the curtains, making her presence known with a smile on her face. Much as she'd been for the unveiling of the newly redesigned Heavyweight Championship, she was dressed in a suit that spoke to her position as a respected face in the company. And, as she walked to the podium, she carried the LAW Heavyweight Championship belt along with her, holding it over her head to the sound of cheers. As Astrid came to the podium, she greeted her fans with a grin, nodding her head.

"Thank you, everyone! Thank you!" she said. "It warms my heart to know that everyone here has faith in me - and I promise, I won't let you down. Recently," she continued, "in introducing the new design for the belt I now hold, I was attacked by a woman who desires to take it for herself. I was beaten when my guard was down, humbled in front of all who support me, and forced to watch as she paraded the belt around as though she had already won it." She shook her head with a sigh, as though the very thought disgusted her. Indeed, the disrespect that Selket had shown toward the institutions of wrestling was even more painful to Astrid than the injuries she'd incurred.

"However," the Norsewoman continued, "I'm not here to make complaints. I'm here to finish what I've started - and to back up the position I hold. Dan DeFranco himself proclaimed it - Selket, the so-called Egyptian priestess, is the next challenger in line for the Heavyweight Championship, and she will be facing me for the title at Fight the LAW. I intend to stand up to her not only by virtue of my own strength, but for what this title means to me and my family. I wouldn't dare let it pass into the hands of someone who has so little respect for what it represents."

Astrid took a step back from the podium, passing her belt over to Robin to hold it for her. At the same time, a few more LAW crewmembers walked onto the stage, placing a pair of scales to either side of the podium. Accompanying them was veteran wrestling journalist Eiji Matsumoto, a pad of paper in his hand, as he took his place beside the scales.

"You've heard from our champion, ladies and gentlemen," Eiji said. "But Astrid isn't just here for show and tell. We have a match at hand - and I'll say now, it's an honor to be here to conduct LAW's first-ever public weigh-in ceremony!"

Astrid stepped over to the scale, looking back and forth. She hesitated, seeing that there was no sign of Selket anywhere. After a brief pause, in which the silence went unbroken, she decided she had waited long enough. She began to take off her suit, stripping down to a red bikini that showcased her muscular form, to the sound of a few cheers. With a confident smile and her hands on her hips, Astrid took a step forward to place herself on the scales. The needle moved, and Eiji leaned closer to read off the result, as he called it back to the crowd - "188 pounds!" Astrid was still eligible for the Heavyweight Championship!

After the initial burst of cheers went out, however, the excitement gave way to silence - and Astrid's grin began to turn to a frown. This entire time, Selket hadn't made her presence known. They were both supposed to weigh in in order to confirm their eligibility - but so far, it was only the reigning champion who had shown up. Where was her challenger?

Robin was carefully holding the belt while Tammy likewise looked around. “Ladies and Gentleman Selket was supposed to be here as well but it appears she’s running late.” Jenna laughed. “Running late? You must have forgotten who you’re talking about Tammy, this is exactly the time Selket wanted to show up for.”

As Astrid paraded around now in her bikini the fans cheered and whooped in joy. Especially once the woman had been weighed and was deemed still eligible for her title. Giggling softly to herself as she noticed the changing of expression on Astrid’s face from proud and joyous, to worry and anxiety.
All because of her. Ever since her initial assault on the champion Selket had continued to stalk her prey. Through the halls of backstage, the locker room, she watched and waited. Learned the type of person her opponet was and analyzing her weaknesses, and most importantly of all… worming her way deeper inside Astrid’s head.

Smirking to herself the pristess decdied to finally make her apperance known. Slipping out from her place in the shadows of the stage she crept up right behind those on the stage. The fans were rhe first to notice her, as demonstrated by the wide hush and whispers that started to circulate.
Stopping first by Robin, Selket would slide her hand over the heavyweight title. “Hello again my sweet.” She said without even glancing at the dark haired woman who held the crimson belt. After a moment of admiring rhe belt Selket would continue forward and should she remain unnoticed by the champion she would slide right up behind the blonde woman, the Egyptian’s mouth going right up to the norsewoman’s ear.

“Don’t worry foolish drengr, you’re safe… for now.” She breathed out before nipping at the champ’s earlobe. Pulling away just as quickly as she’d crept up Selket’s form was now fully visible. Wearing a dark purple robe with her usual bob cut and dark caramel skin she looked poised, sleek and powerful. Not to mention dangerous. Like a cobra ready to strike.

Stepping a bit further out to the crowd so they can fully see her she would drop her robe. In doing so she got a even bigger reaction than Astrid did as rather than a traditional bikini Selket instead opted for bandages that barely covered up her private areas. Tossinf her bangs over her shoulder she flashed a venomously smug look to Astrid.

After a moment of letting the fans gawk Astrid would then step up to the scale and wait patiently for Eiji to read her weight. “Hurry along little man. And be grateful I let you so near me.” She said with disdain to the veteran writer, looking at him as if he were something she had stepped on without intending. Showing her not so high opinion towards the man as she all but commanded him to hurry.
As she emerged from the curtains, Astrid had stepped out on the scene with a smile on her face and her belt held proudly at her side. She might have faced an unpleasant surprise when it came to her first encounter with the Egyptian Priestess, but now she was determined to set things right, coming in as the confident champion and making it clear she was ready to hold onto her position by any means necessary.

Now, though...Astrid wasn't so sure. When she was expecting to go out on stage opposite Selket and for the two of them to see each other eye to eye, she thought this would be simple. But Selket, she was quickly learning, wasn't going to play that way. She wanted to keep Astrid guessing as to where she would come from - and that only made the champion grow tense, the hairs standing on the back of her neck as she thought about what her absence could have meant. Was she planning something?
Sure enough, she was - and soon, Astrid was about to get a reminder of Selket's presence, as her opponent came up behind her to whisper in her ear. At once, Astrid's heart felt like it had skipped a beat. Her eyes went wide and she jumped in place with a gasp. She hadn't even noticed Selket's presence, but here she was. How long had she been here, and what was she up to?

"You-!" Astrid gasped, spinning around to face Selket. Nevertheless, she dropped her robe, the display causing a few bouts of applause - though most of the crowd sat hushed, afraid to test Selket when they had no idea what she was capable of. Still, it was clear that she had grasped their attention by force, making a surprising showing that would no doubt prove far more memorable than even Astrid's. The Norwegian was feeling the sting already, at being shown up before the match had even begun. She crossed her arms, shooting a glare back at Selket. The animosity was running high between these two women already.

Even Eiji seemed a bit hesitant to step over to Selket's side - if even a heavyweight like her could make such an appearance unnanounced, he shuddered at the thought of what else she could do. Still, he stepped closer, leaning in to read off the scale: "178 pounds!" The cheers from the audience cemented what he had just confirmed - both Astrid and Selket had made weight, and all that was left was for the two of them to square off!

“I’ve never seen Astrid this flustered, could she actually be off her game?” Tammy was concerned while Jenna was just enjoying the sight, Robin kept the belt on her, having been surprised by Selket’s surprise entrance as well when she brushed by her to observe the title in her arms. It was clear that the tension between them wouldn’t go away anytime soon but Eiji made sure that they moved the weigh-in along to interviews.

"While we're here," Eiji at last said, "I'd like to ask a few questions leading into the match. Astrid, Selket, I'm sure the two of you have a lot on your minds right now. Heading into this match, what's your plan of action look like?"

Astrid was quick to chime in the second the words had left his mouth - after Selket's interjections before, she wasn't about to give her the opportunity to steal her thunder. "I know that my opponent wants to catch me off-guard, and take me by surprise," she said. "Her mistake, when it comes to that, is thinking that I'm going to let her get away with it. The last time we met at the belt unveiling told me that I can't risk taking my eyes off of Selket for long - but now, I know even more to never let her out of my sights. If the best weapon in her arsenal is the element of surprise, I question how she'll fare without it! As provocative a statement as this may seem, I'm confident that she can't back herself up - if Selket thought she could beat me head-to-head in a fair fight, she wouldn't stoop to the trouble of all these theatrics. When she meets me in the ring, and faces my strength head-on, then we'll see what she's really made of!" She flexed her muscles, looking back at Selket with a smirk.
"Thank you, Miss Ostberg," Eiji said. "And you, Selket - any, erm, thoughts?"

As Eiji read off her weight Selkey merely smiled and drank in the cheers from the fans that she qualified for the title. As well as taking the moment in to relish the jealous she could practically feel emenating from Astrid.

As she turned to look down at the reporter who served as the officiated for thisevent though she raised an eyebrow at his question… before smirking in bemusement at Astrid’s eagerness to step in.
Leaning back the Egyptian priestess crossed her arms under her best and placed her fingers on her chin. All with the same amused smirk on her face with no trace of worry or discontent at the blonde woman’s bold words.

Waiting calmly and patiently till the champion had finished Selket smirked when Eiji asked her for her response. Leaning into the microphone Selket licked her lips before speaking. “Hehehe. My plan of action? My plan has been in action for weeks now. After all just look at the ‘proud’ champion there. Rattled, and scared and nervous, and trying oh so hard to hide it all beneath a brace face.” Selket said in a mocking tone before bursting into giggles. “While I commend her efforts, its for nought and frankly…” she said before looking up, the bemused playfulness replaced by a near otherworldly and sinister expression.

“The ‘champion’ is making a grabe mistake in confusing my mysticism for a lack of strength.” She said in a cold tone before continuing. “I’d think someone who clawed her way to this point would understand, but strength and cleverness are far from mutually exclusive. In fact a truly strong warrior can beat her opponet from the insideour before the battle has ever even truly begun. Something I’m well on my way to doing.” She said shooting a heated look tk Astrid before the mocking and playful look and tone came back. “Frankly. My poor drengr has no idea what she’s getting herself into. But I’ll be happy to show her what lies in the dark before escorting her to Hel.” She said as the viciousness returned to her tone.

After taking note of Astrid's response, Eiji turned to Selket, holding up a microphone to her mouth. The challenger was quick to voice her response - and in it, her feelings for Astrid came across loud and clear. Selket didn't just want to best Astrid, but to tear down everyone's confidence in her and their belief that she could hold onto her title - perhaps even in the Norsewoman herself. Astrid could tell she was being mocked, and it caused her to go tense, clenching her teeth and balling a fist. She glared back at Selket out of the corner of her eye, her gaze narrowing into a hateful stare. If nothing else, Astrid wanted to win this match just to shut Selket up.

"Thank you for that, Selket," Eiji said with a nod. "The next thing I'd like to ask each of you is, should you win the championship in this match, what do you want to want to accomplish in your run as Heavyweight Champion?"

"If I win?" Astrid spoke up. "Honestly, just what I've been doing. I feel like I've done a fine job of holding onto my position up to this point, and I intend to hold onto it after this match, too. If what I'm doing works, I see no reason I should change it. I would especially hope to prove that my strength and my commitment work well in my favor, and that they're the assets that can help me succeed against an opponent who thinks she has me figured out..." She shot another accusatory glance in Selket's direction. While Astrid didn't name names, it was clear what she meant.
Selket smirked as she observed Astrid’s reaction to her words out of the corner of her eyes. It was clear thry had a substantial effect on the champion, it was easy to tell due to virtually every body signal she was sending out.

Smugly smirking at the woman Selket crossed her arms and waited as Eiji continued with his next question. Raising an eyebrow at his next question she would smirk softly hearing Astrid’s answer. The pointed jab towards Selket making her chuckle softly before turning to Eiji and his microphone.
“Mhmmm what I would do?” She purred out with a chuckle. “Well unlike the naive champion here…” she said before looking up with dark eyes. “I would raise the heavyweight division back to its rightful place. My goddess will see to it when I sacrifice all of my would be challengers to her.” She said with a diabolical smirk on her face, her eyes drifting to Astrid at the word ‘sacrifice’. “And of course I’ll be shutting up those other blathering bufoons for champions, the lightweight division especially I’ll be sure to teach their rightful place as insects beneath my heel.” She said with a sadistic tone in her voice as she licked her lips, eyes not straying from Astrid’s once.

"Naive-!" Just the mere mention of that word was enough to get a rise out of Astrid, who gasped and straightened herself to her feet. Her back arched and her muscles went tense, as she shot a glare back in Selket's direction. She had a lot of nerve throwing around such accusations - and then, as she went on to describe the other divisions as "insects" that he would crush beneath her feet, the Norwegian knew that Selket had gone too far. Not only was she so dishonorable to people of her own size, but to those she had an advantage over too. "Why, you-" she began, her hands forming trembling fists at her sides.

Before Astrid could do anything, however, Eiji cut her off. He could sense the rising tensions, and he wanted to make sure that things wouldn't spill out into outright chaos. Stepping in front of Astrid, he spoke up again. "One last question - just to know what your thoughts are, going into this match, what does the Heavyweight Championship mean to you?"

Astrid crossed her arms, pointedly turning her back to Selket as she glanced off. "To me, this championship is all about proving you're the best. To earn a title like that, you have to work hard, and you have to live the values of determination and commitment that led you there - through training, and through doing your best in every match you're in, no matter the odds. It's a time-honored tradition of being recognized for your ability and your achievements, and that's a tradition I'm proud to carry on."

She glanced over her shoulder at Selket before continuing, her eyes narrowing. "But it's more than just being good, if you ask me. This championship is about integrity. It isn't just about being the best in your division; it's about being a face of the promotion, and to live up to what it means to be a champion. A professional wrestler is just that - a professional. The athletic world is built on fairness and dignity, and that's something I mean to uphold. In wrestling, as of late, I've found that more and more people are inclined to forget how important that is. That this is bigger than any of them, and that they aren't above judgment. If I'm to be honored as a champion, I want to be a champion people can look toward with pride, rather than shame."

Selket’s smile widened ever so slightly as she heard the small little outburst from Astrid. It was clear everything she said was cutting deep into the champion and she loved it. It meant that her plans were coming along perfectly and by the end of it… Astrid would be easy pickings.

But they weren’t finished quite yet. Eiji had one other question for the two and of course Astrid was eager to answer it. Smirking to herself as she crossed her arms Selket stood back and watched patiently as Astrid went on. At multiple junctures the blonde woman had taken a jab at the Egyptian woman. But those all were further validation that Selket’s words were striking true to the champion. That she was worming her way deeper and deeper into the woman’s head. By the time the reigning champion had fonished her bold speech the fans were cheering and lauding the woman with praise. Selket however? She only had one response.

“Hahahahaha Ahahahahaha!” And that response was to laugh. Not the tight, sinister little giggles or boastful chuckles. No this was a loud, belly shaking laugh. Such a action was so unusual for the mystical woman that everyone in attendance was on edge… more than usual when she was involved at least.

“Ahahaha Astrid… ahahaha… you’re so… haha.. So pathetically noble ahaha!” She shrieked out in a mirthful insult with absolutely no credence of respect to the blonde. Finally gaining some control over herself Selket would take the microphone from Eiji’s hands. “Forgive me Astrid… its just.. its like you live in a storybook with how you talk sometimes.” she said without sounding apologetic at all.
Reigning herself in fully but still with the mocking smile on her face Selket moved to give her own answer. “Unlike our… woefully optimistic champion here… I have a far more realistic view.” She said her expression going up in sharpness and oozing confidence. “It… means power. It represents the power the holder exerts over all those in the division. By extension, with us being heavyweights… it represents the power we have over everyone within LAW.” She said flashing another confident smirk at Astrid.

“The heavyweigh belt to me… is the ultimate way of honoring my goddess. The ultimate accolade one can collect for now… I also imagine that once the openweight title is made available.. the heavyweight title will make an excellent bartering chip to get the openweight title.” She said, making it clear that once she had the oppurtunity to trade up, she would do so. “Thats what the heavyweight title means to me. A means to an end… and a symbol of MY power over everyone in this company…” she said before turning to look at Astrid with soemthing beyond confidence.. or disdain. She was looking at Astrid as if she was something that Selket had stepped on. “Incliding you… dear drengr.” She said coldly before holding out her mic she had taken from Eiji and dropped it at his feet. As if daring Astrid to pick umit up and retaliate against what she had said.

For a moment, Astrid stood and faced the cheers with pride, looking up with a smile on her face. Hearing the eager voice of the crowd, she felt like she had done it - that she had stood up against her next challenger already, gaining a victory over her in the psychological war that raged even outside of the ring. She felt like she had cause to feel triumphant over her seemingly implacable opponent. After all, she had gotten in the last word against her...

Or so she thought.

Selket, suddenly, burst out into uproarious laughter in a gesture that took Astrid by surprise just as much as it did the audience. At once she stopped what she was doing, turning toward the Egyptian Priestess with wide eyes. The emotion she moved with seemed so incongruent with her silent, threatening image that it caused Astrid to flinch for just a second. But she heard what she had to say - and, as the words went on, Astrid's shock turned to anger when she saw what Selket truly had in mind.
She fixed a hateful glare on Selket, her eyes narrowed into a piercing look as her brows furrowed. When the Egyptian dropped her microphone, Astrid got off the scale and stormed over to it, snatching the microphone up with all the force and care as though it were a piece of garbage. Even as she spoke, every word that left her mouth felt like it was on the verge of her spitting angrily.
"Really?" Astrid said. "That's all you care about? Making a statement? You're telling me that the title means nothing to you? It's all just a stepping stone on your foolish pursuit of glory?" She grumbled, shaking her head. "I mean it when I say this - you disgust me. The title is more than that. It's a testament to how far I've come, and how far I wish to go. It's an expectation and a responsibility I wish to live up to every time I climb into the ring. And the fact that you'd throw it aside the moment something bigger came along...no matter who wins or loses, I can already tell you that you, Selket, deserve no title. You deserve nothing!"

Eiji cleared his throat then, cutting Astrid off before she could say any more. "That...should be well enough, Miss Ostberg. Anything else you have to say...you can say it in the ring."
And with that both girls backed off, first Selket who walked by Robin to get another close look at championship she already deemed hers and Astrid would follow soon after, with Robin respectfully handing her property back to her respectfully Astrid would turn to the crowd and raise it once more before she also made her exit to a cheering crowd, while some were surprised by how Selket seemed to get to her, many others were just as pleased to see her kick the Egyptian Princesses ass. “If we needed any more proof that Selket has this won , I think we just got it.” Jenna remained with her first pick naturally, but Robin didn’t disagree. “Selket has done her homework, she knows she can’t fight Astrid the way others have so she’s made her own way. The champ will be in for a fight learning how to overcome this one. I’d feel more confident in betting on her in a normal match but something to remember is this match will be Falls Count Anywhere. Anything goes and for Selket that’s permission to do what she pleases.” Tammy looked in between them. “We’ve seen this kind of tactic before, all of this is just a distraction. Won’t mean anything once the smoke and mirror are over.”

Rose Gold vs Amano Jaku Lightweight championship match.
Spoiler

We know you’ve been waiting a long time, and we won’t keep you waiting any longer. Fight the LAW’s Main Event is finally up next. Amano Jaku the cute mixed-martial artist demon of the Lightweight division takes on the creator of the Midas Touch and self proclaimed savior of the Lightweight division and goddess of sex and violence, the champion Rose Gold herself in a beach styled MMA match. Not the match you expect for the main event of a wrestling PPV but something tells me two cute girls slugging it out on a beach for your viewing pleasure will get you excited all the same.” “I’m already excited, I need a front row seat for that match, anything with Rose Goldie is a must see experience, and Robin? You forgot the Ace of LAW in your introduction of her, you really should be more careful when talking about the face of this company.” “Rose Gold is not the face of this company…” “Good luck telling her that.” “She doesn’t exactly listen to me.” “Well she shouldn’t with that nonsense.” “Jenna I am this close to getting up and pulling that wig you call hair off you!” “Girls we are this close, just sit down for one more match and you can fight it out on the streets next for all I care but I’m not having Management give me a lecture because you two can’t keep it together.” “Tch” “Sure. Fine. I can stay calm.” “Let’s talk about Amano first, I’m sure even Tammy can agree she is easier to get through because as anyone even vaguely familiar with her knows we have a lot to talk about with Gold.” “...I’ll start us off. Even If I disagree that Amano is any less worthy to talk about. This little thing is one of the cutest girls I’ve ever laid eyes on but you don’t want to get close unless you want to lose fingers. Part of the Akuma no Senshi group, a collective of wrestlers who support each other, the Wild Demon of the Rising Sun has spent her years mixing her wrestling style with the martial arts taught by her teammates. The end result of this melting pot of moves from aikido, judo to jujitsu all mixed up with the personality and attitude that’s focused on using her natural charms and looks to fluster an opponent alongside her taunts to get them attack her and make a mistake for her to punish.” “Trust us on this she will punish if given the chance, while it’s true this mix of styles leaves very little in mastery and her small stature means actually putting power behind these attacks is difficult as she is aggressive in the ring. It’s not a matter of ‘is she willing to do this?’ she is and if you give her the opportunity she will do whatever is keeping her from winning, at least. There isn’t much in her arsenal she isn’t willing to try if it can win her a match.” “Her lack of power doesn’t mean much in matches like this either, sure she can’t hit someone a few weight classes above her really hard but that’s only a problem if she tries to fight for the Openweight belt. In a match between Lightweights you won’t find many who are going to tank her offense of strikes, throws and submissions. She has plenty of each to try on you and she will find one that’s going to hurt even if she has to do it 5 times in a row.” “At a record of 6-4 Amano lost her first 2 matches before going on a 6 win streak, all of which were obtained either by submission or knockout, the two primary ways one wins an MMA bout.” “Some of those wins were over tough opponents, even ones above lightweights to remind you that this is not a girl you play games with. Anyone smart takes her seriously and makes sure to bring her down quickly or they end up seeing stars or feeling limbs twisted and tortured.” “All too happy to live up to the name demon Amano was announced as the no. 1 contender some time after the belt designs, which has something to do with Rose Gold’s own life as a fighter besides wrestling, and when she heard the news she wasted no time making her desires clear, she wants a fight and while she’s not the biggest on actually being the Lightweight champion she isn’t turning down the idea either.” “Sure hope she really wants a fight because she will get one at least, not too sure she will like what comes next if she actually thinks she’s going to get that kill over Rose.

Well I know Tammy doesn’t want to talk about her but we do have to bring up the champion in her own Main Event. Rose Gold who some may have forgotten is named Kelsea Rose is the young and proud champion who claims to be leading the revolution of Lightweights and revitalizing the company as a whole with her reign which she seeks to have be the most dominant one in history. Initially having come here as a somewhat shy but bombastic figure with some wrestling and judo skills to start off the young Kelsea seemed to be someone to keep an eye on.” “She quickly made herself more and more noticeable the longer her career went, while at first she was somewhat friendly she started showing a darkside early on such as when she wrestled the debuting Izzia Oskevic, in what was supposed to be a standard match saw Rose turn it into a one sided beatdown where Rose not only relied on submission moves but sexual attacks suited for a hentai match. Making the young girl beg for the right to climax and granting it only after she was forced to make Rose do it first.” “I’d like to remind fans that this was disrespectful no matter how ‘hot’ some people found it, not to mention completely inappropriate for a match that was advertised as a wrestling one not a hentai match.” “While I’m sure some LAW sponsors and owners were pissed, and I must concede they did have some reasons to be that a match like that was aired at an inappropriate time it’s hardly Rose’s fault that her opponent could control herself, if she couldn’t take anymore she should have tapped out not complied with Rose’s demands. Plus the audiences loved it, which is part of her genius in that making the fans pleased is all that matters.” “It goes a bit beyond that, Rose not only sees herself as the ultimate crowd pleaser but that her way is the best way. Her motto in this regard is that ‘Heels Are Heroes’ with the crowd not caring either way about right or wrong and she uses her actions as proof.” “She’s living in a delusional world with that logic, all you have to do is compare the cheers she gets to the cheers of actual crowd pleasers to know heels are not heroes. Even the boos of other heels would show it.” “True the name could be workshopped a bit but you take her too literally Tammy! The Ace of LAW is clearly aware of good and bad but the fine line she walks is the one to success, above such things and the fans' love for her proves it.” “They seem to love her opponents a tad bit more Jenna.” “And they still cheer when those people lose so what's your point?” “Not getting into that with you. To keep focus she continued down this path getting steadily more violent, first sexually but then physically showing a desire to exploit any opening or dirty trick if it got her the win and the chance to humiliate anyone.” “While she suffered some bad losses here and there showing her strategy wasn’t full proof she fine tuned her mistakes and pulled up wins over bigger names, once beating heavyweight Aliana Sanders with a submission that knocked her out.” “Well if you count the fact she was clearly beaten before that but the ref was knocked out a win sure. She won by getting very lucky.” “Aliana was nearly twice her size. Rose deserved some luck. If you think that makes her a paper champion, just watch the match of her beating Eirina Makishima in a hentai match and that should prove that that Rose is not someone who needs luck, she had Eirina owned and if she wanted she could have broken the girl and made her a pet like she did to Lexy Alan, who by the way is going to be proudly introducing the champion going into the match.

Rose’s success finally got her into the annual Last Woman Standing tournament, a tournament that seems elevate whoever wins it and has seen plenty of its winners become household names such as Karen Starring, Anna Holmes, and Ducky Williams. All of them are names you are bound to remember but Rose has seen the most success from her win. Defeating Heavyweight Artemis in the first round, Middleweight Saichiko Koizumi in the second round and Heavyweight Bianca Valentine in the finals Rose used that as part of her Lightweight revolution, proof that her size didn’t matter when it came to her other talents.” “Thanks to this monumental win Rose had the confidence to go after the real prize, dethroning Aoi Fukiwara who had let the Lightweights become second fiddle to the rest during her time as champion.” “Not responding to every challenge isn’t letting them fall behind, Aoi was a fine champion, and Rose Gold had to brutally attack her in the build up to the match and nearly break her leg to feel safe going into that match. Some revolutionary she turned out to be, hurting and humiliating the Lightweights you claim to be elevating.” “Revolutions can get bloody, and while Aoi fought her heart out she was quickly dismantled in the most one sided and shortest Main Event we have seen at We Are LAW 4 in a hardcore match. Rose Gold walked in and out with roaring applause and stunning beauty but the difference was she left with the belt she rightfully deserved. Aoi who had her leg further mangled in the match itself, couldn't walk out at all.” “After resorting to every dirty trick in the book and putting Aoi on the injured roster, Rose Gold continued to show what a depraved coward and egomaniac she was with her ‘Midas Touch’ series which was an excuse to defend her belt against newer talent that had barely qualified to even fight for belts while she avoids any and all heavyhitters in the same division.” “Oh my goooood, do you ever cease with your biased opinions Tammy. What Rose Gold is actually doing is making sure the unknowns become more famous, how could you mock her for that?” “With the Lightweight title on the line? Avoiding competition and naming her own opponents? It’s an attempt to pad her stats by claiming she won so many times over. Despite this she’s still almost losing a few of those bouts.” “I have to agree with Tammy Jenna, while I don’t hold Rose’s tactics over her as hard as she does her Midas Touch would feel far more genuine if she was doing it without the belt, Title matches are important, and people are far more likely to remember a clash between titans over a titan stomping a mortal into the floor. Dan eventually had to put his foot down which is why Rose’s opponent here wasn’t selected by her.” “Dan’s a moron who doesn’t know what’s good for his company, where was he when the champs he liked were giving out open challenges, or allowed to choose their opponents? I don’t see you making accusations against them! Amano only has 6 wins what is she supposed to be a good match for Rose who has over twice as much?” “Yes you idiot! It’s a battle between two wrestlers with mixed martial arts in a MMA match, it plays to both girls styles in a way that will be remembered far more than any of those Midas Touch matches that exist so Rose can fuck new girls!” “You know what? I thought it was just upper management but it’s clear all of you are idiots, when Rose becomes known as the greatest champion in history decades from now I hope you jealous bitches realize what you tried to bring down, but I'm done here. Later losers.” Jenna put her headphones down and stormed off but on her way out she actually harshley and childishly shoved the back of Tammy’s head, nearly causing Tammy to hit the table in front of her. Tammy stood up red in the face. “That does it! She’s dead!” She grabbed her own headphones and yanked them off her head before storming after Jenna. The sound of voices shouting and an audible slap could be heard as the cameras nearly followed before Robin stood up and directed them back at her. “We’re all done here. Thanks for sticking around the Main event will take place on the beach of course, will the Demon overcome Queen Midas herself or will Rose find a way to overcome what might be her toughest challenge yet. I’m sure you can’t wait to find out so either get a ticket or buy the PPV because I know you don’t want to miss this.” The camera’s finally cut and Robin leaned back as security moved in to break up Jenna and Tammy. “Didn’t expect this much action before the PPV but I guess we wouldn’t be Fighting the LAW otherwise.
