Calling out the Top Kat

The crowd is pumped waiting to see more matches for night, but the strobe lights goes on as loud music plays over the speakers. Overdrive comes on over the speakers, and the crowd begins to cheer louder as Liger makes her way onto the stage.



Posing on stage giving off a big smile to the fans, two bandages one on her nose and the other on her forehead are seen by the crowd who keep cheering for their idol. Waving to the crowd and smiling as she makes her way down the ramp, giving high fives and hugs to the fans and her fan club as well posing for photos with them and even giving a lucky fan a kiss on the cheek.

Sliding into the ring looking at all of the fans, reaching for the mic and takes a deep breath. "So I came out here to talk.." She says sitting in the middle of the ring, a sad look on her face thinking of what she going to say next. "I know I haven't been winning much lately and I'm glad you the fans keep giving me so much support I really can't do this without all of the kind words and support you give me."

Getting to her feet Liger does a small bow to the crowd and fans, honored that still with her record her fans have stayed strong unlike other wrestlers who fans have mocked or turned against them. "I wanted to say.." She says wiping a tear from her eyes slowly. "I'm going to get better and I will prove it tonight for you all, and I need to apologizes to someone as well." Taking a deep breath before saying "Katherine Hart Come out here i have something to say." dropping the mic.

Having taken her place backstage for her usual scheduled match on this week's LAW, Katherine Hart was in the back and raring to go! She was doing squats in the locker room as she watched the show on the monitor. Her ears perked up when she realized that a promising young girl, the daughter of the increasingly antagonizing Cyber Widow was calling her out to the ring. Something to say? This should be good, Kat thought to herself. Liger would only have to wait about a minute for Kat's theme, Back2Back, to start playing on the stadium speakers. Her titantron video would follow, and soon, The Super Kitty herself would appear on the stage. She'd slowly raise her head as she scoped out the audience. A huge crowd reaction followed her appearance. As a top star in these parts, Kat was truly loved by LAW fans and it showed. The luchadora's expression transitioned into her signature confident smile as she hit a stride and made her way down to the ring, slapping the hands of several fans for high-fives all the way down.

Katherine "Super Kitty" Hart

Kat would climb the steels steps and grab onto the ropes before giving the fans in the front row one last wink before slingshotting herself over the top rope and gracefully landing to enter the ring. The staff at ringside would hand her a mic so that she could join Liger properly for this segment.

"Golden Liger....."

"I just wanna start off by saying that it's great to meet you, face to face, in person. It's great to meet someone that understands humility, and how to both give and earn respect. Someone that strives to get better. Unlike a certain keyboard warrior named Widow..." Kat trailed off, shaking her head as if to dismiss the idea of talking about Cyber Widow to the side.

"I'm not gonna speak too much about your mother. Whatever your dynamic is with her, I'll let you work that out unless you explicitly ask for help. I'm not about to pry into a family matter if that family matter isn't trying to pry its way into me if you know what I'm saying. But I know we're not here to talk about that, so let's move on to what you called me out here to talk about."

"Liger, I appreciate you calling me out here. I've been getting more and more popular around these parts. The more success you find, the more people want a piece of you, for better or for worse. So it's refreshing to see someone call me out to the ring with good intentions instead of bad. And like I said, it's good to see someone with promise like yourself try to work her way up the food chain." Kat would say as she locked eyes with Liger, hoping to connect with the young lioness.

"So tell me, please, what can The Super Kitty do for you?"

Liger can't even speak, seeing the famed Super Kitty walk her way down to the ring, her presence alone sends a cold sweat down her forehead. Liger knows she in the presence of someone who been through battles and wars in the ring, even seeing some of the older wrestlers backstage would make her step back due to their aura. The thought of being in the ring with this woman who aura or what the Japanese fans call Fighting Spirit is overwhelming, that alone makes Liger take a small step back as Kat steps into the ring to talk.

"I... I umm.." Taking a deep breath to calm herself down, haven't felt like this since fighting Alaina in the ring or confronting her mother. But she clenches her fist cause she needs to do this her confidence coming back to her, Liger walks up to Kat.

"Thank you for your kind words, I wanted to first apologize for my mother actions. She.. not the best... or well liked but she is still my mother. So I wanted to ask your forgiveness due to her comments she made about you, I hope you can forgive me"Liger replies back, bowing her head to the older woman.

"As you know... I don't have the best record at the moment as I know you seen. If you have any advice on how to break this losing streak I'm on would be helpful. I'll done everything beside cheat and I really don't know what more I can do beside asking my mother for advice... Which she replied with go ask your fake mother and not me...." Staring right back at Kat.

Like a starstruck fan, the effect of the legendary luchadora's presence had the aspiring rookie on awe, nearly unable to speak. Kat was wise to this. She could read the girl's body language. Many women in the back would look down on Liger for this. Calling down a big name to the ring because you were feeling vulnerable? Because you needed advice? Because you didn't feel good enough? Many heels would view this as weakness. Perhaps some of the more individualistic girls would tell her to pick herself up, to hide that weakness, to hit the gym, talk to coaches, seek out opponents, and matches her own speed. But not Kat.

Different reactions from the crowd began to fill the arena. Many began to speculate on how all this would go down. And as commentary went off and as fans asked questions, the masked woman would step forward. Kat would reach for Liger's shoulder and correct her posture, pulling the young lioness up to have her stand up straight rather than bow her head. She'd get even closer and wrap her arms around Liger's torso to embrace her, resulting in the audience cheering in approval of this wholesome interaction. Kat would rub Liger's back and pat her, assuring her that things would be okay with her and her career despite how bleak it might look right now. After hugging her for several seconds, Kat would step back and firmly grasp her mic one more.

"Liger, it takes a lot of strength to do what you're doing right now. To acknowledge your losing streak, to ask for help, to call me down here not knowing if I was another one of those women that would talk down to you and blame you for your losses. I'm not one of them and I never will be. When someone wants to improve, I encourage them. When I'm the gym and I see another girl or guy struggling with drills, moves, weights, anything at all, I do what I can to motivate them and help them through it any way I can." Kat would say with a nod of assurance as she turned to Golden Liger to continue addressing her directly.

"You, Liger, you've been dealt a unique set of cards. You've got an arrogant mother who used to be something back in the day, but she's pushed you away, she'd pushed everyone away with her ego, her entitlement, and her toxicity. But none of those bad traits undo the fact that she does have a legacy. And that legacy makes people have expectations of you. People expect you to prosper because she prospered in her heyday. I don't think it's a stretch to say that the talent scouts for LAW helped you get signed here because they expected that Widow would be in your corner. And she isn't. But people expect you to succeed all the same."

"You're dealing with more adversity than a lot of women in that locker room, but I'm sure those same women would blame you for all the obstacles you're facing." Kat would step forward and place a hand on Liger's shoulder again. "Let me be the one to tell it to you straight, Liger."

"Every Katherine Hart, every Alaina Sanders, every Dana Ashford, Tina Armstrong, and so on, you have to remember that we were all like you once. We were all once struggling rookies that were trying to figure out how we could find our rhythm, unlock our potential, and become the successful names that we are today. I'm sure the same applies to your mother."

"Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not some old grizzled wrestler-lady that's gonna talk down to you about paying your dues. Everyone pays their dues sooner or later, sure. Maybe it's a losing streak, maybe it's an injury, a betrayal, whatever. You're a smart up-and-comer. I'm sure you knew that there'd be some bumps in the road. Just like you know you'll find your way out of this rut with or without my help. I have that much faith in you. My advice to you is this..."

"The same way, I won't forget that I was just like you once, never forget that you and I, we were both like all of them." Kat says as she points and fans her hand all around the arena.

"Never forget that before we were wrestlers, we were fans. Never forget that for every match you wrestle for every show you put on, every promo, every title, every pay per view. For every one of those, we inspire people around the world to connect with us over the love of this sport. They believe in us, but it's just as important for us to believe in them."

"So the next time you're at your wit's end in a match, the next time you're doubting yourself and wondering how you're gonna reach the next level, the next time you need to dig deep, Liger. You listen to them. You hear their calls and their cheers, and you make their drive and their passion your own! You use that drive to better yourself in this ring and ascend until the day...you're no longer in your mom's shadow. Until the day where you're like all the ladies that you respect and adore here at LAW. Until you're among LAW's elite."

Liger standing the ring, her body downcast and just filled with doubt not even able to eye contact with Kat for long before looking back down at the mat ashamed. But to her surprise feeling hands correct her and have her hold her head up high before being hugged, it as if all of the expectations, and ridicule that she has been getting from the other women in the back is starting to slowly be lifted off of her shoulders.

Just knowing that someone like Kat is also giving her support is something that she will never take for granted, since that all she needed was some form of support to be there or someone to to help her. She knows she going to get a lot of issues from the other women but right now nothing can ruin this moment, not even her mother at all can ruin this.

"Than... thank you.. " she says trying to fight back tears from forming in her eyes, not wanting to let her fans or this legend in the ring see how much this losing streak and being mocked been getting to her. "I will take your advice and remember that I promise, I know it going to be hard but soon I be able to stand beside all of you and be able to say that I fought legends in the ring and earned their respect. "

"But I have to ask... from one wrestler to another beside asking for your advice Ms. Kat... I want to test myself tonight against you. I hav.. no I need to show that I can improve and get better even if I'm going against the top rank women in each weight class." as her fans begin to cheer firmly on her side some even chanting Go Liger Go, as the young woman looks up at the older woman and holds her hand out "I challenge you to a match. To prove that I deserve to be called a young Lioness, but to prove to myself that I can complete at the level where you all reside at where the champions are."

Kat was happy to lift Golden Liger's spirits. The wholesome moment between the two earned cheers and good feelings/vibes throughout the LAW arena. Fans cheered as Liger once again found her resolve and announced her intention to stand at the mountaintop at LAW amongst the top women in each weight class! As the Go-Liger-Go chants continued, Liger built up towards issuing a formal challenge to The Super Kitty to excite the fans in the arena even more! Super Kitty chants and Go-Liger-Go chants would be exchanged as the famed Katherine Hart accepted!

"You're on, Liger! Come at me with everything you have! Show me and show the world that deep down, you have what it takes to leave your mark on LAW and on this industry" Kat would say with a confident smile on her face as the impromptu match was solidified on tonight's card.

"Let's get a referee out here." Kat would finish up before stepping towards her corner and handing her mic to the crew at ringside. It wouldn't take long for a lady in a striped shirt to make her way down the ramp. The announcer would do the formal introductions as The Super Kitty and The Golden Liger for ready to put on one heck of a show!
