L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

JJ walked out into the gym ready to work on so.e strength and endurance. She felt she was a sculpted, strong woman but she just faced off against a 215lb giant in her previous outing. She wanted to be in peak form.

Clad in a pair of purple short shorts and a black sports bra JJ stepped out into the gym ready to stretch and hit the dumb bells to start things off. However on the way out she saw another newer wrestler who had been the talk of the town, something JJ wanted to be. Unlike JJ though this woman had never been beaten in a LAW ring.

JJ wanted to see what the big deal was all about. "Hey there, you are Petra aren't you?" JJ asked as she approached.

Petra had barely begun her own workout - her form clad in the attire she designated for both gym workouts and wrestling attire - when she heard a voice to her side. Not at all one to turn away friendly conversation, Petra slowly slid the weight she had to hand back down to the mat, before turning as not to be rude.

She had heard many a thing about the exploits of the LAW gym - how spars could start out of nowhere, and how a beatdown could occur between rivals at a the drop of a hat. Petra was truthfully hoping for neither, though if it had to be one, she would have of course picked the former. It was rare she sparred outright, but she wasn't against the idea outright. Though to expect anything remotely violent coming her way off a simple greeting was perhaps jumping the gun a bit.

"Yes...I am being Petra...!" She stood from her bench, offering a hand to the woman whom spoke to her. The fact this gal knew her name was enough for a proper greeting at least, she figured.

JJ nodded and looked her over. She did look impressive but JJ still needed to be convinced at how much of a real threat in the ring she was. "Well nice to see you, I am Janella Johnson, or JJ for short." JJ said.

"You know, I have heard you are kicking off your career here with one hell of a win streak putting women in their place between the ropes. Is that true?" JJ asked, trying to get a read on Petra based on her answer.

Petra smiled as JJ introduced herself, with a short nickname to boot. Petra, with her somewhat peculiar skill in English, could only be thankful that such a short, memorable name was thrown her way to remember.

"I...am doing well if you are meaning this..." Petra quite literally scratched her head, her skull turning slightly as if she were a curious puppy.

"I am yet to have being beaten in the ring. I think that is a very good sign..."

JJ smiled as she saw that Petra might not fully understand what she was saying. "Like, I mean I am just really impressed with your record. I wish mine was that good but Misaki Toyoda really just wrecked me in the ring. I was just wondering if maybe ya want to work out together or do some ring work? I want to see how I stack up with you. I mean I saw you slam around women a good deal heavier and I wonder if you are as strong as I am." JJ said with a wink before flexing her arm. Petra seemed pleasant and while JJ did tend to talk a lot of trash she felt that being pleasant in return and playful was far more appropriate than some of her usual banter.

Petra was no good at casual conversation, but she wanted to learn. She couldn't coast by forever on simple one liners with passing cohorts. And this girl seemed nice enough.

"Erm...Yes!" She raised her hand, a finger extending from it as if having an epiphany. "I am making good works with the slams. I do not rely on them all the time though yes? I am not very muscle..." Petra tried to laugh, extending her right arm to show that whilst she was the definition of toned, she was hardly jacked. Her matches often went by with plenty of slams, but she was never one to go all out with them.

"Tell me, please.." She'd mutter, trying to remain polite and kind at all times. "How did your matching with Misaki Toyoda go exactly?"

JJ smiled but it was ear she was a bit less enthused to discuss her loss. "I threw everything I had at her yet she kept coming and she managed to outright overpower me even though she is like 15 pounds lighter. If she tried that again I would put her in her place though!" JJ said tensing up her abdomen and arms again, her grin returning.

"So, ya slam ladies around huh? Who is the best lady ya beat?" JJ asked curious about Petras thoughts on this.

Petra sat there with her listening ears on - her head partially in her palm with a finger scratching her cheek. She couldn't understand fully everything JJ spoke of, but a little presumption along with key words being caught gave her the jist.

"Hmm...Sometimes a change of strategy is the best thing to be doing..." She'd nod, before a question came to her.

"It would be being between Allen and Helena...Yes..." Petra nodded again, her hand finally leaving her chin. "Both were being very tough in the matching. Though one was being a nastier than the other..." Hummed the Greek, annoyed at her first encounter with an outright bonafide heel wrestler.

JJ smiled as she heard of those women, understanding how someone can have a tough time with her. "Well..... do ya want suit up and step in the practice ring? I want to see if I can take it to the undefeated rookie who is the talk of the town." JJ said with a grin, standing with her arms crossed as she waited for Petras answer.

She hoped to measure up better than anyone Petra stepped in the ring with.

"I would be liking that!" Petra hummed. Improving her conversation was nice, but gaining a friend was an even nicer prospect. And doing so would be easier with something she was proficient at.

"I am being ready now, if you are liking to go?"
