A Strong Practice Match

Aurora González arrived early at the training ring in one of LAW’s gyms. She stretched out and warmed up, wanting to be at her best. She had scheduled a training match with none other than the Barbarian Prince Oscar Orelash. She was somewhat in his debt. When they first met, she was his waitress at a sushi bar while Oscar’s nemesis Drake Benton was there. An altercation occurred and Oscar defended her. Fast forward to Oscar’s graduation party, she was bartending when Drake stormed the party and pushed her down. Oscar once again was a gentleman and checked on her. At the party, Oscar expressed interest in aerial maneuvers ane Aurora promised to show Oscar what a true luchadora could do. She had texted the Barbarian Prince to set up a practice match.
”¡Hola Oscar! Estoy aqui. No rush come when you’re ready.”

Oscar was looking forward to this spar that Aurora had organized with him. Aurora was someone Oscar considered a good friend, but he had never really spent any time hanging out with her before- only recalling their initial meeting during her time working at a local sushi bar and the time she played bartender at Oscar's graduation party. Thankfully that party did present Oscar an opportunity as Aurora offered to spar with the Barbarian Prince as a means to show him more types of Aeiral moves- something Oscar wholeheartedly accepted. Donning his ring gear, Oscar slid into the ring and limbered himself up before settling into his corner- chuckling as he wrapped up his stretches.

"Thanks for setting this up, Aurora. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got. I'm ready when you are!"

Oscar stepped out of the corner and kept his hands ready- looking geared up and ready to go as he awaited Aurora to kick the spar off!

”We’ll see about that.”
And kick it off, she did. Aurora approached Oscar, crouched and ready. She began by throwing swift yet hard thigh-level kicks. The luchadora would dart in and out, whacking at Oscar’s legs like an axe at the base of a large tree. The blows that landed let out an audible smacking sound as Aurora looked to keep Oscar off balance.

Oscar was ready to start things off nice and steady for the spar- but Aurora seemed to have her own opinions on how to start out as she delivered powerful kicks into his thighs! The heavy impact earned a startled and painful yelp from Oscar- who quickly shifted his stand to defend against the shots to his legs!

Aurora danced and kicked, which while painful for Oscar, the Barbarian Prince tanked the blows. However it kept him on the defensive enough on his legs that she hoped to catch him by surprise. While stalking around Oscar, Aurora suddenly deviated and leapt onto the ropes (between the corners). She pushed off the ropes and sent a spinning kick straight for Oscar’s head!

Oscar, who was still trying to get into the grove of things after Aurora's strong start, found his defences breached as she spun around and landed a solid kick right in his noggin- knocking him down onto his rear end and leaving him dazed for the moment!

"O-ok... good kick... but that's pretty tough for a sparring match- don't you think?"

A brief smile flashed across her face when she knocked Oscar on his butt.
“What’s the gringo expression? Practice like you play?” she laughed and extended her hand to help Oscar up.
”Mexican wrestling can be… intense. I hope to show you my passion… what this sport means to me. It’s everything…” For a moment her voice cracked with emotion but then she snapped out of whatever wistfulness was affecting her.
“You raise a good point though. I said you would learn lucha libre so perhaps some instruction.”
She beckoned Oscar into the middle of the ring.
“Most people think high flying and aerial maneuvers is for agility wrestlers with low power. They’re wrong. El aire ES poder. I’ll show you.”
She then suddenly surged forward, wrapped her arms around Oscar’s waist, and attempted to drive him backwards and/or take him down to the mat.

Oscar accepted Aurora's hand, getting help returning to his feet before listening to his friend speak about what was norm back home. Oscar noticed the voice crack in Aurora's voice, but didn't address it- assuming it was the passion she held for the sport that was making her emotional.

"Oh! I see... my mistake then. I wasn't familiar with the cultural aspect on your end. Cool thing to learn though!"

Oscar followed Aurora to the middle of the ring as he was beckoned, listening to her explain about aerial techniques before lunging forward. Being more prepared, Oscar planted his feet and stood his ground as Aurora charged into him- managing to hold his ground. The Barbarian Prince would attempt to yank Aurora off of him and whip her towards the ropes- attempting to retaliate with a closesline!

Oscar did exactly what Aurora wanted, even giving her an extra boost by Irish whipping her to the ropes. Aurora rebounded off the ropes in a sprint and leapt up. The luchadora shot through the air like a missile and smashed into Oscar’s chest with a blazing flying shoulder tackle, looking to knock him down onto his back.

Aurora sucsessfully turned Oscar's attempt at a counterattack against him- instead using the momentum he had given her to launch herself at him while he was mid-attack! The young lady smashed into Oscar's chest and knocked him clean off his feet- crashing down onto the canvas where he would only act as a cushion for the woman! Oscar was left briefly stunned as he processed what happened- leaving Aurora on top of him for the time being as he tried to collect his thoughts!
