L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Since arriving at LAW, there had been few really bad moments that Ryukyu had to go through, however the bad moments were really VERY BAD. After recovering from the injuries she had in her match against Cream, today she had agreed with Lucy to spar in the gym to get in good shape. Ryukyu was warming up in a ring that was in one of the LAW Gym, jumping on her heels to warm up a bit, the gym was clear and this helped her clear her thoughts. “Hm... Lucy hasn't arrived yet... Is she late...? The truth is that both she and I didn't come out of that match at all well.... W-why wasn't she stronger at the time? I let them treat Lucy like garbage... Do I even deserve to call myself her friend?”

That was her question at that moment, when she finished warming up she waited patiently standing in the corner, she felt really bad for not having been able to do anything to avoid what happened, she hoped she could apologize to Lucy personally for everything they had gone through at that moment because of Ryukyu, being dragged pathetically by Cream, or at least that's how the Japanese girl saw it.

Rebecca walked into the gym looking to see if she could find Ryukyu. Lucy and Ryukyu had a plan to meet up for some sparring, but Lucy felt little embarrassed to face Ryukyu after the debacle that occurred a few days prior.

However, Rebecca decided to come in Lucy stead to talk things out a little and have a bit of training at the same time. Eventually she found Ryukyu waiting in one of the practice rings. "Ryukyu!" Rebecca waved and ran over to Ryukyu to introduce herself since the two hadn't officially met. "Hi I'm Rebecca! I came in Lucy's place. She's a little down about what happened during your match with Cream." Rebecca extended her hand.

Ryukyu turned around when she heard that someone had entered, she realized that the girl who had come to the gym to greet her kindly, was very similar to Lucy. “Lucy?” however Rebecca clarified the situation for her, leaving Ryukyu with a somewhat confused expression, though luckily, Lucy had told her a lot about Rebecca before.

“Oh, it's nice to meet you Rebecca. Lucy has told me a lot about you, I was already starting to get a little depressed about waiting.” Ryukyu gave a cute smile for her training partner, who proceeded to tell her an anecdote about why Lucy didn't show up for training today, something that made Ryukyu feel a bit bad.

“I was actually looking forward to meeting you, I've been told that you're kind of new to this pro wrestling thing. If I remember correctly, I was told that you also had your altercations with Cream” said Ryukyu with a more serious tone than usual. “I thought at first that they were just exaggerations, at first sight Cream seemed to be... Harmless, but before I knew it I had ended up with no chance to defend myself.”

"Cream came off the same way with me, but she's pretty quick to show her true colors." Rebecca thought back on her first match with Cream. Even though it was Cream's debut when they first fought, Rebecca had been completely humiliated.

"Luckily I was able to get some revenge on her. However, I only succeeded due to Lucy coming to the rescue. If she hadn't I would've been been destroyed by Cream a second time." Even though Rebecca had won her rematch, she still wanted to settle things with Cream on her own.

"I think that's why Lucy is a bit down. She had hoped to allow you a chance to come back and beat Cream, but she blames herself for causing further pain for you. I'm sure Cream will have her sights set on Lucy at some point. She's not the one to forget that Lucy has interfered with two of her matches."

Ryukyu was filled with a bit of helplessness, but she knew that if it wasn't for Lucy, the match would have ended without her returning at least one blow to Cream. “And that's why I contacted her today, I want us to become stronger so we can face opponents like Cream in the future. I won't let them keep humiliating us like that, besides, it's a good opportunity to measure forces with you. I was Lucy's opponent during her debut, she gave a good match even though I defeated her.”

Ryukyu stood up and leaned her back on the top rope. “I still remember her debut with enthusiasm, she looked quite fragile at first, but when she got the chance she almost defeated me. After the match we joked a bit about it and she stayed in my room to sleep that night, we talked about many things but she constantly mentioned details about you. This will be a good opportunity to test myself with you.” Ryukyu said with great enthusiasm, it seems that sooner or later she was thinking of having a match with Rebecca, however she didn't have the chance to arrange one because she is yet to graduate from the young lioness program, but that doesn't stop him from sparring with her right?

“To clarify the conditions, I thought this sparring could be done with the standard rules, however, the only way you can win is if you verbally quit, I think that will give us more opportunities to test our best techniques.”

"Any chance to get a little better is good by me! I'm looking to get another match with Cream at some point. Hopefully I can put her down myself next time!" Rebecca was hopeful that she would be able to pay Cream back at some point.

"If Lucy would try a little harder she would be a force to be reckoned with, but she seems content as long as the crowd enjoys the show. She hasn't quite found that spark yet."

"I'm down for that! Should be a good training session!" Any training was good for Rebecca. Anything to help her progress in her career and improve was good with her.

Ryukyu thought Rebecca's enthusiasm was great, apparently this could be more interesting than he thought. “You know, I didn't face Cream when I debuted. Even so, my debut was also a match where I was treated like a simple doll, so I'm grateful that Lucy's debut was with me, I'd love to return the favor one of these days. But at the moment there are still many opponents that I would love to face, and others that I am anxious to measure forces with them, for example. At the moment I have my eyes set on facing Cheelani and Heather Sunderland” The Japanese woman stepped off the ropes, so she could get a little closer to Rebecca.

“And I think that's what we have to focus on now, I heard for example that while Lucy and I were fighting Cream. You on the other hand couldn't come to our rescue, because you were having a match against Sakura Hagiwara. Lucy told me how much you admire her, so I'm glad that our situation didn't prevent you from enjoying fulfilling your dream!” She expressed with great enthusiasm. “And today I seem to have the opportunity to measure my strength with you, so. Even though it's a sparring match, we're going to give it our all, do you understand Rebecca?” Expressed Ryukyu as she began to circle the ring, and thus begin to focus on Rebecca indicating to her that it is time to begin sparring.

Looking back on her match with Sakura, Rebecca was still a little star struck that it had actually happened. "That was such an incredible experience! I only hope I can face her several more times in my career!" Rebecca always spoke with Sakura with a little sparkle in her eye. It was clear she held Sakura in high regard.

"I'm sure Cream will have it out for me from now on given our last match. All I can do is be sure to prepare as best I can when that happens! So, I have no issue giving it our all here!" Rebecca had a little smile come across her face. She would begin to mirror Ryukyu and circle around the ring waiting to see what she would do.

Ryukyu smiled as she raised her arms, turned around and quickly rammed Rebecca to lock up with her. Both girls had very similar measurements, so she was anxious to see if like Lucy she would succeed in subduing Rebecca, one thing was clear, Ryukyu was very happy that this moment had arrived. “Let's see what you're made of Rebecca!” Ryukyu said before grabbing Rebecca's hand with both hands quickly, she made a full turn and reversed the blonde's wrist while pressing against the back of Rebecca's hand. Ryukyu would at the same time maintain some pressure to bring Rebecca's arm upright so that she would gradually get to her knees.

"Bring it on babe!" Rebecca would lock up with Ryukyu in the center of the ring. As the pair locked up, Ryukyu would reverse Rebecca's wrist. "Argghh" it wasn't massively painful, but considerably uncomfortable. However, Rebecca knew how to escape it. She roll forward to reverse her wrist back and try to use the momentum to pull and then toss Ryukyu across the ring.
