At that point, the sounds of footsteps could be heard from further down the hallway, interspersed with a couple of voices.
"C'mon, Mei! I don't wanna be late!" came the first, a high-pitched shrill tone with a distinct Australian accent.
"You were the one I had to wake up for this, remember?" replied the second, in a more even cadence.
"Well, I need it more! I'm gonna be going to Norway soon, so I gotta be in tip-top shape for it!"
"Are you gonna rub that in again?! Besides, I want to train too! I'm not gonna become LAW's strongest if I miss my training sessions thanks to you!"
"And what about the time you stood on one leg for 24 hours straight out of your own free will? You just train by yourself anyway!"
"Yeah, but having classes doesn't hurt, either! I just temper the lessons with my own methods! Lai family secret!"
"For such a big secret, you sure talk about it a lot-! Oh, hey, isn't this the place?"
The door soon opened up, and first to run through the door was Sheila Chihara, one of LAW's up-and-coming Young Lionesses, and one who had already been making waves. After
being approved to face a main roster member in a TLC match, Sheila had proven she was progressing well in her training, and - perhaps most importantly - she had recently received confirmation that she would be traveling to Norway to partake in her excursion to United Supreme Pro Wrestling, a promotion that happened to be headlined by the very men she would be training under today. She burst into the room, eager to see them; she had a wide grin on her face and she waved her hand back and forth in the air.
"Hiiiiii!! You're the guys from USPW, yeah? I'm Sheila! I'm gonna be wrestling for you soon, so it's sooooo cool to meet you!~"
Her companion greeted them with a short, polite bow, but when she looked back up at them it too was with an eager smile.
"And I'm Meiyun Lai. Don't go easy on me, okay? I want to become the best wrestler LAW has ever seen!"
