Just Who I Didn't Expect To See

Alaina was covered in sweat after having a rope running warm up leading up to a high weight, high intensity lifting day. Clad in a pair of sneakers and her tiger print sports bra as well as matching and fairly showy briefs the amazon just finished up a final set in the squat rack.

She looked over her glistening body in the mirror. Better than a couple montha ago when she officially came back... but not what she was in her prime. The muscular 5'9" 170lb woman looked over every muscle group as if trying to find some short coming and then destroy it.

Alaina had work to do especially after her lack luster start, bit she was going to be a force in the ring again no matter what. Dressed in sneakers and wrestling attire she was going to keep lifting until Tina showed up for some ring work.

Alaina might have not realised it, but today, she was the victim of a hunt.

And for perhaps a rare change, not a unfriendly one.

Prowling the corridors of her new environment, clad in a white tank top and fitting shorts, a particular raven haired amazon knew the premier amazon herself was today in. Picking her time perfectly, this particular individual found herself first scanning the rest of the gym, in the vain chance someone else she knew appeared. Alas, this time, she was unlucky. Except for Alaina.

Sneaking up behind her, smile to face, the approaching figure would pick her moment perfectly; the moment Alaina had her hands to the weights but had yet to lift, she'd gently cover her eyes.

"Guess who...!" Came words muttered in a strong Italian accent.

Alaina was getting ready to continue her workout, ready to keep going at it and get herself back on track. However, her eyes were suddenly covered and some woman was speaking! There was something very familiar about that voice as well..

"Wha! Who the......." Alaina said in surprise until the accent finally sank in. A smile spread across her face into a giant grin. "Diana!?" She said as the weight was racked and she removed the hands from her eyes so she could see. The black haired Italian beauty was every bit as fit, statuesque and gorgeous as Alaina remembered. They did make quite the amazonian pair in photoshoots and inside the ring.

"Like, I had no idea you were here! How are you? What have you been up to girl?" Alaina rattled off, showing the excitement at seeing an old friend again.

With next to no time needed to recognise both a friend and fair opposition in the ring, it seemed Diana wouldn't have to play her little game for long as her hands came back, casually folding under her chest as she gleamed back at the amazon. Her infamous rival still carried the physical power that had led to their great encounters in the ring, but Diana was not so blind as to notice the still gorgeous amazon now had a look of maturity about her.

"Yeh! I just joined up. Instantly told me there'd be a face I'd recognise. So I pretty much sprinted here!"

Smile turning into a stern giggle, Diana let her eyes wander up and down the sweaty physique which had driven her to her own limits in match ups.

"I see you still look to be a huge pain in the ass in the ring..." Giggle turning to smirk, Diana couldn't help but nod at the powerful stature before her.

Alaina laughed and hugged Diana. "You knew I would not let myself go after I retired at first." Alaina said with a smile as she looked Diana over. "Ya know, you still look downright like the gorgeous, muscular lady I used to clash with. I gotta keep ya away from my husband since he seems time his fit ladies, I wouldn't want him trading me in for a younger model now." Alaina said jokingly, although Diana still did I fact loom every but the statuesque stunner.

"Seriously though what's New? How is everything in and out of the ring?"

Where as Alaina had seemingly grew partially away from the ring, Diana had stayed relatively glued. Not at all discouraged by her first poorly challenged wrestling run, the Italian had found success in more aptly ran and better organised businesses all across the globe. Whats-more, taking the time to focus upon her boxing somewhat, alongside her wrestling.

"Errm..." Bringing her hand up behind her back, Diana would awkwardly scratch her back, as in truth, very little had changed. Save for the greater success she was having nowadays, and the happiness that followed. "Pretty much...nothing!" Gleaming, Diana attempted to bring the focus of the conversation to the hopefully more interesting Alaina.

"What about you?"

"Well the twins take up a ton of time. Carl and Anna are five now. They drive me nuts but they are better than any championship could ever be... but greedy old 42 year old me wants it all, belt included." Alaina said with a chuckle. "I imagine these days that road goes through you." The amazon added with a wink.

"Hey! Who is the Italian Stallion there?" A younger voice shouted. Dressed in a pink sports bra and black briefs, along with black wrestling boots Tina came bounding out looking Diana over. "Yep, you look as jacked in person as us do on TV. Tina Armstrong the tigress by the way." Tina said extending her hand.

Diana leaned to one hip and nodded as Alaina told her story, with the amazon one of the few women Diana would intently and honestly listen to. Anyone else, the Italian would have had no issue with simply turning and walking away. But not ever for someone she respected this much.

"Ahh well, I've seen there's a big event going on fo--OH..hey?" Her response suddenly interrupted by a new voice churning in, with no hostility rising from Diana at all given it was obvious the figure was a friend of Alaina's.

"T-Thanks..." Ever the unwary to a compliment, Diana quickly assumed the obvious, given Tina's self titled nickname, and the aforementioned amazon who always had a love of stripes. "I thought you said twins? You've got a little clone right here..." Words carried with a straight smile, as the Italian couldn't resist ruffling the Tigress' hair.

Alaina chuckled at Diana's comment. "I wish I looked young enough to be Tina's twin..." She said with a smile and slight blush on her face.

Tina rolled her eyes a but at the hair ruffle. "Listen lady Acera, if ya want to ruffle my hair and find out that this tigress has plenty of bite feel free to step inside the ring over there with me." Tina said with a grin and wink. She sized Diana up and always wanted a challenge regardless of the venue.

Diana admired the bite to the tigress, but found herself in the somewhat rare mood of being a little against the idea of conflict. Especially when such could possibly end up with her hurting her great friends protege.

Lowering her hand from that ruffled hair, Diana quickly but with a smile put a finger to Tina's mouth. "Hush now little Tigress, I just got here I don't wanna have to stick a foot up your ass..." Turning to Alaina with laughter on her lips, knowing the amazon would perceive such as a tease more than a actual threat.
