A bunny meets a barbarian (For Liru)

While Oscar enjoyed using April's private facilities and all the advanced state-of-the-art equipment it offered, there was just something about a public LAW gym that made it just as enjoyable. The Barbarian Prince and young lion of LAW had been hard at work after coming back from his cross-promotion with Leviathan inc. in the states and had planned to focus the training program during his stay while accepting the occasional match that came his way. Fighting in the U.S had been... an enlightening experience for the young man as he was used to facing more friendly and new faces in LAW such as rookie wrestlers and other students in the training program. Leviathan had been a whole other beast, however, as he stood against more experienced wrestlers- some of which were far from friendly and even borderline dangerous.

While he managed to fight hard to keep a good start over in Leviathan, he wanted to catch up with the veterans over there as well as keep on his A-game over in LAW. Oscar would be doing just that as he was busy on a stair climb machine, building up a sweat as he took a sip from his water bottle while looking around the facility for signs of any other people.

Looking around, there appear to be a fair number of visitors. Fellow wrestlers training like Oscar and the working staff that help maintain the place. Though the person that stood out among the rest as Oscar searched for life in the gym was this beautiful white-haired woman. She appears to have just finished a training session as her body was covered in sweat. A towel would also be wrapped around the back of her neck, soaking the salty liquids. The woman sat on this weight bench, eyes forward. She does not seem to be looking at anything special so perhaps she is just thinking about something in her head. Being lost in her own thoughts.

After today's training, Eleanor once again finds herself staring at the void. Developing plans and how to accomplish them. Not only that, but she was also trying to grasp an understanding of how things are now. How she feels too. The way it seemed to Eleanor was that things are going well. Her training nowadays took a lot of effort but it was worth it. She could feel that she is getting better as a wrestler in L.A.W. It is only a matter of time before she has a match of her own and thus she needed to make the necessary preparations. Winning a match cannot be done with just words after all. It would be too easy otherwise.

"Quelle journée..." She says tiredly. A heavy breath left her lips afterward.

Satisfied with what happened so far today, Eleanor would be getting ready to pack up her belongings so that she can head to the place she was staying. But just as she was getting up from her seat, she catches the observing eyes of Oscar. Locking her crimson red ones with his for just a moment. Wearing a blank expression.

Blink. Blink.

Soon enough, this blank look on her face shifts to a smile. Looking friendly and inviting. It seems there is another member of the Young Lion/Lioness Program, she thought. And so, not wanting to make things awkward for herself, she decided to approach him. Waving at the man on the way. Not saying a word to him just yet. However, it is clear she is about to speak to him soon.

Oscar blinked his eyes at the unfamiliar face taking a break on the bench before she got up and walked towards him. Always one to be friendly, Oscar smiled back and offered the woman a wave back before speaking to the young lady once she was close enough.

"Hi there, miss! Something I can help you with?"

From a closer perspective, Eleanor could see that Oscar stood at about six feet five inches and easily over two hundred pounds in muscle along with tattoos dressing his cheeks, complimented with a set of freckles across the bridge of his nose. He certainly seemed kind enough to give the woman his attention as he kept at it on the machine.

"Oh my~ You're very tall and muscular. How tall are you by the way? Six foot three?" Eleanor comments and asks. Eyeing the man after doing so. He surely was an eye-candy for women. There is no doubt about it with his physique. Eleanor is certain there would be ladies that would want to have a piece of him. Heck, she does too. But she needs to maintain professionally. Especially since she is a nobody here in the organization. For now.

When asked what the man could do for her, Eleanor lets out a hum. She took longer than expected to reply but she does in the end.

"Mm. No, not at all. I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Eleanor. Eleanor Garnier. I'm from Canada. Who might you be?" The French-Canadian asks kindly. Her accent was very much present but it was still clear enough for Oscar to understand her speech.

Standing this close to him, Eleanor was fit herself. She would fit the light weight category in L.A.W. but based from her attire alone, Oscar might be able to tell that she is a part of the Young Lioness Program. Its design was basic, fitted for someone who is just starting and is trying to make a name for themselves. It took form of a sports bra and shorts. Despite being in a sweaty state, she smelled lovely. It is obvious that this woman really takes care of her body.

A faint and humble blush formed on Oscar's cheeks as he laughed a bit at Eleanor's compliment. It sure wasn't the first time he'd been complimented on his build and height, but he was always happy to receive it.

"Oh- thank you! I takes a lot of work but it's worth it. You're close too! I'm six foot five"

He would answer the questions quite easily while politely waiting for her to answer his other question.

"Oh sick- another person from Canada! I'm going to guess... somewhere from Quebec? I hear the accent in your voice. Never been over there myself but it seems like a lovely place. I'm from Toronto myself"

Oscar seemed happy to chat with the young lady as they talked about their home countries. This was actually the first time Oscar had met another wrestler from Canada and honestly, he was all for it! Being so far from home can be a challenge sometimes- but in a way, talking to Eleanor was... therapeutic in a way. Oh that's right- she introduced herself! He still had to do that. Stepping down from the stair machine and quickly wiping himself down with a towel, the young lion extended a friendly hand to the newcomer.

"Sorry- I get carried away sometimes. I'm Oscar. Oscar Orelash. Nice to meet you, Eleanor!"

Eleanor is taken aback. Another Canadian! To Eleanor's surprise, this is the second Canadian fighter from L.A.W. that she has encountered. Perhaps she will run into a fellow Québécois at some point. That should be fun.

Learning that Oscar is from Toronto, Eleanor had to ask a few questions about his background. Though before she does, she giggles upon observing his cute and apologetic nature. Shortly offering her hand to shake his.

"It is nice to meet you too, Oscar. And you are correct. I am from Quebec. I have to ask though, what brings you to L.A.W.? How long have you been a part of the organization?"

After asking her questions, she would pull her hand away to conclude the brief handshake. While waiting for a response, Eleanor would take a seat down a nearby bench. Gesturing Oscar to follow and sit next to her as she pats an open spot on it which the tall wrestler can occupy.

Oscar smiled at the brief and friendly handshake, soon following Eleanor to sit next to her on the bench as he answered her question.

"Well, December should mark six months since I joined up in LAW. I signed up for the young lions program here for the chance to properly learn how to wrestle properly since I was mostly self-taught for the longest time. It's gone insanely well so far I have to say'

The young man chuckled before letting out a happy and nostalgic sigh, remembering his first month in the organization. Oscar would look back at Eleanor.

"What about you? You got a story? If so I'd love to hear it!"

"Six months? Wow. I assume you have graduated already with how long it has been?" Eleanor was surprised to hear this. Six months? Her eyes widened upon hearing this information but she shortly relax. Hopefully she would graduate the program without spending that many months in the program.

"As for me, I just entered the Young Lioness program a few weeks ago. I'm still adjusting though. Where I was from, it was not as serious as this place. I hope to graduate in a month or two. I just think six months is a long time but I would not be surprised if the program takes a year or two to graduate. But that just means I really have to impress my seniors if I want to graduate sooner. In which case... you technically count as one as you have been here longer than me." Eleanor looks up at Oscar and shoots him a playful wink. Chuckling right after before her gaze shifts to different parts of the gym.

"Hmm... I wouldn't be surprised if you graduated that fast. I've been here for this long because men aren't as popular here for wrestling as the ladies are- and most men on the roster fight for... less than PG reasons and it dosen't reflect well on the others. Not that I judge why the other men fight.

Oscar gently shook his head

"I stayed as long as I have because I want to try and change how men are viewed in LAW for the better, y'know? It's actually been going well I think"

Hearing Eleanor's comment, Oscar humbly blushed and chuckled back at the woman.

"Ha! Feels weird to hear that out loud. Way to make a fella feel old, hehe"

Eleanor takes what Oscar said into thought. L.A.W. was, indeed, dominated by female wrestlers. But she could not blame the organization. Majority of the wrestling fanbase consists of men and L.A.W. offers a lot of high quality women matches. Especially ones that are essentially wrestling porn. Something Eleanor has yet to experience herself. Eleanor was in no rush to having those kinds of matches but... she wouldn't mind trying it out soon though.

"That is a very respectable goal, Oscar. I came to this place wanting to make a bigger name for myself. As selfish as that sounds." She sighs with another chuckle escaping her lips.

"But it is true~ I suppose I chose the wrong words to describe your experience." Eleanor apologizes with a nod, shortly returning her focus to the fellow Canadian. "Well, perhaps you can show me what you have learned from the program since you have been here longer than I have. In the future though. We both just finished a tough workout, surely."

Knowing that Oscar was here longer than she was, she was curious to see what the Young Lion program is capable of. And upon the brief mention of these non-PG fights, she has to wonder... what other "tools" Oscar has in store...

No, no. Clean mind, Eleanor. The woman composes herself and continues to converse with Oscar.
