The Amazonia Encounter (for Highfly)

“78…..79…..80!” William grunted as he stopped his session on the pulling levers and he let his muscles relaxed as he took a white towel at his side wiping his forehead.

It had a been a few days since he last visited the doctor and finally could take off the sling that hindered him for weeks after Cyber Legacy decided to spring an ambush on him. William had his neck bruised, his arm thrashed, and his family jewels were not in the best shape either as the ladies stormed kicks on his body. William faced a lot of tough customers and men big as himself in the past, but taking that much pain showed him how easy it was for him to be taken by surprise. Will had to keep on his guard if he wanted to make sure he wouldn’t be taken by surprise again.

William decided to wipe down the equipment and move as he started walking around the front of the gym looking for any more machines to help get his arm back in shape. He wanted to get it back to feeling proper before he had that fateful dinner with Thereisa.

Meanwhile, Kennedy Lee would be riding on the bicycle machine keeping her legs in good condition as she looked at the monitor showing the miles she had traveled so far. She wiped beads of sweat off her forehead as she kept trucking and a screeching sound could be heard from her back. A monkey came into view situating himself up on the shoulders of Kennedy as he looked around the gym seeing all the normal people and athletes working out with an occasional coo coming into his direction from mainly females.

“Don’t forget the one lady that really matters in your life, Bobo,” Kennedy reminded as she stopped the machine to let herself breath.

Bobo the Monkey

Alaina was finishing up a workout on the treadmill off in her own world. She was clad in a pair of black spandex shorts that were quite short indeed as well as a pair of sneakers and a blue sports bra. She stepped off the treadmill and stretched, looking around at about the same time as she heard a peculiar noise.

A woman was on a bike with a monkey on her back. Alaina blinked and did a double take before she shook her head. "Must be a service animal? It has to be otherwise how would they let it in?" Alaina said to herself. Over in the distance she saw a guy looking around as if he needed help. Alaina decided to head over figuring that maybe she could help him out a bit.

"Hey there, do you need help with anything?" Alaina asked as she approached William as he was searching about the gym.

William guided his eyes to the hot Amazon next to him as he scratched the back of his head looking her in the eyes after panning the gym for a few more seconds.

“I’m trying to work my arm back into shape and Astrid told me doing specific machines would help roll the muscles up. If you had any leads on those machines, that would be nice,” William stated as he adjusted his glasses.

Kennedy would see William in the distance as she started another rep on the bicycle machine and Bobo looked in the north direction as well. Kennedy made out the woman who was talking to him, but couldn’t tell if it was really the person she was thinking of.

Alaina looked over at William and tilted her head. "Well it depends on what part of your arm you hurt. Was it your bicep, tricep or what is a joint like your elbow or wrist?" Alaina asked not wanting to send him to the wrong exercise. It hit her than that he also said Astrid. Alaina raised an eyebrow. "When you say Astrid you mean Astrid Ostberg?" She asked.

William felt his arm and rubbed it trying to identify the part that hurt the most. He felt some soreness still in his bicep and it did travel down the arm a little bit so he put up his arm to display.

“Bicep, mostly. It did travel down the arm a little bit. It’s healed since my attack so there isn’t too much pertinent damage to it,” William clarified.

William then perked up at her question and adjusted his glasses that slightly titled off his face.

“She’s my fiancé. You a friend of hers or something?” William asked.

“That’s Alaina Sanders. One of Astrid’s opponents for the heavyweight title. Nice to finally meet ya, hon,” Kennedy greeted as she walked up with her gym bag in tow and Bobo on her right shoulder uttering a meek “Eek! Eek!”

Alaina nodded as the man described his injury and the area affected. "Well fought weight free weight curls. Use dumb bells and lift halfway up then down for a few reps, then start halfway up bringing the dumb bell all the way up before doing full range sets. Also preacher curls are a good way to go." Alaina said to him.

However it soon clicked exactly who he was when he mentioned his engagement to Astrid. "Oh right! Well congratulations to the both of you! I am very happy for the both of you!" Alaina said before continuing. "I know her yeah. We have sparred together and I actually wrestled against her dad when we were both younger."

Before Alaina could introduce herself someone else took the liberty for her. She looked and saw the monkey lady standing there. "Ahem, yeah I am. And who exactly are you?" Alaina asked standing with her arms crossing her chest.

“I’m Kennedy Lee. And just like you did before, I’m here to bulk up to heavyweight class. So, don’t be surprised if you win against Assy and end up seeing me pretty soon,” Kennedy replied with a cocky smirk.

“And if Astrid wins?” William asked.

“Then it’s the next chapter in our eternal rivalry. Me and Astrid go way back on the indies,” Kennedy replied to her rival’s fiancé before looking at Alania.

Alaina looked back and forth at the two and shook her head shifting to stand with her hands on her hips. "Well I look forward to see you in the ring regardless of your weight class Kennedy but don't be so confident in the ring against me. I have built up a little win streak that won't end anytime soon if I can help it and sorry to burst your bubble but Astrids reign is about to end." Alaina said as she smiled, flexing a bicep.

Kennedy rolled her eyes as Alaina flexed her bicep and walked right up to her.

“It doesn’t matter if you, Katherine, or Astrid get that belt. All I care about is working my way up the ladder to kick the sorry ass I need to get it from. I hope it’s you so I can show you who really rules the jungle,” Kennedy argued.

“You’re both wrong. Astrid’s got this. And I’ll be there to support her all the way. No offense to you or anything Alaina or even to Katherine, but Astrid has worked too hard and has become a cornerstone of LAW. The title means everything to her so best believe she’ll have the strength to get the job done,” William interjected into the conversation.

“I’ll always have faith in Astrid. It’s just I can’t deny hunting an amazon,” Kennedy stated as she smirked over to Alaina getting in her face as Bobo hid his eyes.

Alaina stood and shook her head letting out an audible laugh. She looked over at William, giving him a nod. "I get that you want to support your fiance. Astrid is an amazing wrestler just like her old man. She has a hell of a track record and title reign. However if you think someone working hard is this new thing I don't know about then you may be crazy. I am sorry dear, but I am gonna come out on top. Nothing personal, but I can't pass up the chance to beat two generations of Ostberg in the ring." Alaina said to William before turning to look at Kennedy.

"You talk a lot for a woman who is brand new here. You can cace me when ever you like I am more tha happy to show you why I am still going strong, better at 47 than you are at half my age." Alaina said with a grin. She pointed at Kennedy, then at herself. "Jungle girl.... jingle woman. Note the difference." Alaina said taking a step towards Kennedy while standing tall.
