Mika's first day

The heavyset double doors swings open, inviting yet another new fighter to the ranks. She walks in with a dark blue duffel bag over her shoulder. A small smile is on her face as she surveys the long hall with her ocean blue hues hiding behind a paid of oval-shaped glasses.

"Soo... this is it, huh? This place is massive..." She says to herself as she makes her way down the corridor.

She looked like your average schoolgirl with a white sailor fuku, with dark blue on her collar and sleeves, and with a light blue ribbon tied in a bow over her small chest. The only thing that particularly stood out about her was her short pink hair, tied into tiny tails behind the back of her head, and little pigtails out from the sides.

She brushes off her blue plaid skirt with one hand, reaching a bit past mid-thigh, and lightly kicks the front of her black mary janes against the floor, wearing white socks that went up to her knees. It was a new arena. New people. New sights. New challenges. She could scarcely await to meet them.

She stopped when she noticed a door that said 'GYM'. She had no matches scheduled yet, so, maybe it would be good just to get a good workout for tonight, and wait for her first call for her debut match here. She steps in through the door, and saw the lights were already on as she walked in, illuminating the massive room. Her deep blues marvelled at the sight of it.

"Wooooww.... they really went all out!" She said to herself as she admired how pristine and clean it was. She noticed a ring in the center of the room, as well as exercise equipment, training mats, machines, everything that made a gym, well, a gym. "Oh, this is going to be amazing!" She exclaimed. She couldn't wait to get changed now! ...Except... she didn't see a room right off hand. There were a few places it could be, but.. what if she accidentally walked in the men's changing room?

She decided it would be best to try and find someone and ask for directions. She adjusts her duffel bag, and looks around for someone to speak to.

Monaka was thinking of doing some work out. While she never thought about bulking up because she was more comfortable with her lithe and smaller figure, doing workout could definitely help her to improve herself in the ring. It was something that she had learned back then at the wrestling school. Coming towards the gym, carrying her bag and wearing her training gear, she got into the ring and found it rather empty at the moment, which worked just fine for Monaka. She could use the silence her to work out to her heart's content.

But, as she entered the gym, she realized that it wasn't as empty as she thought. She saw an unfamiliar face (or rather, a face that she had never seen around here before), and an idea that came into Monaka's mind was to set the pecking order. Considering that this girl was around the same size as her, she might as well assert herself and start making use of her own seniority over this newbie.

"Hey, you!" Monaka said to this newcomer. "I've never seen you around here before..." She would approach this girl, smirking deviously as she would put her hands on her own hips, looking to make herself more assertive. "Don't you know that we do this senior-junior thingie around here? You better start paying your respect to your seniors if you want to go anywhere here in LAW..." she said, looking smug as she addressed the girl.

Mika searched the room, frowning a little. No one was here? Well... she supposed that maybe she would need to take a guess at which one-

"Hey, you!"

She freezes at the sound of a voice calling, to who she could only imagine, to her.

She turns her head towards the voice, and looks to see another girl standing in the ring. She looks up at her. Pink hair. Leotard. Right away she noticed a couple of similarities. She perks up a little when this girl talks about never seeing her before. She answers with a nod.

"I'm not surprised, I'm actually-"

She was cut off as the girl starts to approach her, and stares blankly as she starts to explain how things worked. "M-my apologies!" She said, folding her hands in front of her, holding them in front of her skirt, and lowers her head towards her. They may have been the same size, but it was true she WAS probably here longer, as this was only her first day.

"I-I'm Mika. Mika Matsuda. I only just arrived here. I-it's a pleasure to meet you!" She formally introduces herself to this girl. Then she raises her head to look back up at her. "Actually... I'm a little lost. Could you please point me to the women's lockers so I can change?" She asked.

Well, she was right, actually. The girl was actually a newbie. "Huh, is that so? Well... consider yourself lucky, then. As your senior, I can show you the rope and stuff, and if you want to change, the changing room is that way," she pointed at one direction.

Then, she made a shooing gesture. "Now hurry up so you change your clothes. I'm still here if you want me to show some stuff..." She somehow felt charitable today, which was a nice change of pace. Also, since the girl was a newbie, she didn't mind helping her out, albeit in her own way.

Mika's expression lit up when the girl offered to help her. She looks over in the direction she pointed, and nods with a smile. "Sure! Thank you! I've actually never been in a wrestling match before, so anything I can learn before my first fight would be fully appreciated!" She explained.

After dropping that bomb, she turned to run towards the direction the girl pointed her in, and disappears in the room so she can change into the gear she brought with her. The girl seemed rather nice. Maybe a bit bossy, but at least she was helping her.





A few moments later, Mika stepped back out from the room, dressed in dark blue boots, and wearing what looked to be your typical school-issued swimsuit, also in blue. It was a rather bold change of looks for the school girl, but what most would probably notice first would be the pink boxing gloves tied securely to her hands.

She makes her way back towards the girl with a smile. "Okay.. I'm ready now!"

After learning that this girl hadn't had any wrestling match yet, a wide smirk could be seen on Monaka's face. She saw a potential victim for her bullying soon, and she would like to see how good she was at acting like one big mean heel. So, she would wait for the girl to finish putting on her outfit before she saw her coming back.

"School swimsuit? Really?" Monaka said, taking a look at the girl. "Well, don't matter. Let's get into the ring now. As your senior, I'm gonna show you a couple of nifty tricks you can use in the ring..." Monaka said, hiding her devious smirk from the girl as she would head into the ring. She was giddy that she was able to find a victim for her to bully here, and she would savor every moment of it.

Mika smiles a little when she hears the criticism on her swimsuit. "Heh... it's a long story. but it really makes me look good!" She replies. Honestly, she was a little surprised she didn't say anything about the boxing gloves. Maybe they weren't as an unusual thing here as she first thought.

"Sure! But um... I never got your name. ..Or should I just call you Ms. Senior?" She asked with a bit of a playful tone in her voice as she walks towards the ring. She walks up the ring stairs, and then ducks under the top rope, and steps into the ring. She looks around for a moment, and smiles a bit to herself as she bounces lightly on the canvas, causing the ring to rattle a bit. She throws a couple of quick jabs at the air, warming herself up as she waits this senior girl to enter the ring with her.

Monaka almost forgot that she hadn't introduced herself to the girl yet. "Uh, it's Monaka. Just Monaka..." she told the girl as she looked at her. From the look of it, she seemed to be some kind of boxer. Not that she minded that, considering that there were also boxers who trained in the same wrestling school as her back then.

Seeing Mika warming up, Monaka would also do the same, rolling her shoulders and doing some light stretches. After hopping on the balls of her feet, she would then look at Mika before saying, "Alright, show me what you got, rookie." She wanted to see how good she was with those gloves before she could think of the ways she could bully her next.

"Just Monaka..."
"Just Monaka?"

Mika asked, her voice overlapping with hers, but in a question. When they both said the same thing, Mika couldn't help but giggle a little, before bowing to her. "I'm pleased to meet you, Monaka. Teach me what you know." She said, then straightened up, and raised her gloves, shifting to her boxer stance.

When Monaka gave the go-ahead to start, Mika tightened her stance a little, head hiding behind her gloves, but what Monaka could see was an expression of determination. A sharp contrast from the soft-spoken glasses girl she was just talking to a second ago. If Monaka was lucky, she might have even caught a little smile on her face.

"All right... don't be mad if it's too much though!" She said, and darts towards her while she's still in the corner. She moved quick, shooting out from her corner like a bullet. As she closed in, she cocks a glove back, testing to see how well this Monaka could read movements. If Monaka doesn't notice it in time, she'll find a pink leather glove slamming against her belly! "Hmf!"

Watching the girl carefully, Monaka would wait for her to come, but much to her surprise, Mika darted towards her. She would react accordingly, trying to block whatever she might throw at her, but Mika proved herself to be very quick as she landed a punch right into her belly.

"Uuurkhh!!"

Grunting in pain, Monaka would stagger back, but she would not just take the punch without retaliating, so she would try to swing her arm at Mika, hoping to land her forearm against whichever body part she could reach.
