A Shadow in Comparison (Kuro and Minami)

Now comfortable Minami would continue with her response to the shinobi. "You know my name after all, so you know my history... and my reputation." Here Minami's voice took a hard, dangerous edge as she looked over at Kuro with a serious gaze before softening after a moment. "To answer your question though, I am merely here to train and heard the commotion so I decided to investigate." She said simply with a shrug while looking out to the bodies littering the gym.

"You're work isn't bad by the way. Tainted somewhat, but there's promise, enough to pique my interest." She said before looking almost lazily back over to Kuro. "So I'd like to offer a proposition. You vs me in a submission match, right now. If I win you must do as I say for one hour, if you win..." Here Minami paused to flash her most seductive smile to the younger girl. "You may do with my body as you like for one hour." She said, now lifting her lower half to go completely over the ropes and slip into the ring. "Does that sound fair? Kuro the Evil Shinobi of Shadows?" Minami asked, using the way Kuro introduced herself to address her in a light form of teasing as she waited to see how the girl would react.

Kuro let out a caustic laugh, grinning at the woman's words. "A good shinobi always has her sources." As worthless as it was feeling lately, Kuro did have a decent record covering most of LAW's Lightweight Division, along with a few rising stars and big names in other divisions. And Minami had a record that went even beyond LAW. One didn't coming into LAW with a title like Venus of Submissions without having one hell of a record on her sheet. And the woman's reputation was almost as staggering as some of the more prominent wrestlers in LAW. And as she walked toward the ring, barely giving mind to Kuro's slaughter, even giving her a threatening tone as she spoke, Kuro couldn't help but glare right back in challenge.

But it was Minami's suggestion that really got Kuro's attention.

Immediately Kuro's head buzzed around with ideas and debates. Not only wasn't Minami scared, she was interested in Kuro. Interested enough to want a sparring match with her to feel her out. And even better, she was putting her body on the line with it.By all accounts it seemed like a chance for an unknown fighter like Kuro to get the attention of a big name like Minami and really boost her popularity.

But... there was one obvious flaw in that thinking.

"Fair?" Kuro repeated, her tone almost a mocking snarl. "A submission match against Venus-san?" She feigned a frightened expression, taking a few unsteady steps back toward the corner. "I-Is Minami-chan trying to bully poor Kuro? Did Minami-chan want to be a hero too and make pick on itty-bitty Kuro while using her body as bait?" She kept up the act for a moment longer before immediately shooting the woman a smirk.

"Hehe~ Fine, you're on. But one change." Kuro turned to the corner, pushing her foot against the turnbuckle. "Kuro doesn't want just a spar..." In a swift motion, Kuro slammed her foot hard against the turnbuckle at its weakest point, pushing it out of place and forcing the ropes to go slack and fall. "Kuro wants a slaughter." She turned to Minami, giving her a cutesy smile. "Soooo, no rope breaks~! And verbal submission only! Aaaand one more change..."

Kuro took slow, measured steps forward, looking over Minami's body before flashing a dark smile. "This doesn't end with one submission. It ends when either you or me completely give up and beg for mercy." She let the words hang in the air, then quickly brightened her smile. Minami watched Kuro's reaction to her challenge curiously, analyzing the girl's every facial twitch and undertone within her voice. Knowing that there was more to the girl apparent ninja than a cheesy gimmick and rage. No there was a reason for said fury and Minami would uncover it. Hence her wording the challenge the way she did. Granted she had to put her body on the line in order to sufficiently incentivize Kuro into agreeing given the win condition and her own reputation... However just as she found herself wondering if this was worth the effort, Minami went ahead and incited the wrestle angels interest once more with yet another shift back to her original attitude, followed by her kicking the ropes of the ring down, making this a rope less submission match. It wasn't over there yet though. Kuro went on to add a few more... twists into what was originally a rather mundane submission match.

All the while Minami's lips would stretch wider and wider with each word that left Kuro's mouth until she had a wide smile of utter glee on her face. But it wasn't exactly a joyous or conventionally beautiful. Rather it was beautiful like a coming thunderstorm. Beautiful, but ominous and foreboding, promising destruction if you crossed its path, just like Minami as she chuckled softly.

"Hahaha I see. By my estimate that's three changes." She said, releasing a small laugh as she did so before her smile turned into a more sadistic smirk. "Very well Kuro Chan, I accept." Minami said boldly, no hint of hesitation or worry on her face whatsoever as she stepped forward. "I do hope you won't disappoint me Kuro Chan, it's been a while since I've been so excited." She said while rolling her arms and neck before focusing on Kuro. "Either way, by the end of this bout I'll have you begging for mercy from Venus Sama." Minami said, playing closer to Kuro's level to see how the girl would react. All apart of her plan.

Kuro's smile twitched as Minami approached the now-ropeless ring. The woman's smile was... cold. Almost as mirthless as Kuro's own. No, it was much more than that. Kuro's additional rules didn't deter Minami at all... rather it excited her. "Tsk," Well, that sure backfired on her. Miss Venus seemed to be pretty confident in her skills... or probably really did just want to bully Kuro and the additional rules made it perfect. Still, Kuro's face maintained its cutesy smile as Minami got into the ring. Miss Venus might have experience on her side, but Kuro was an unknown. Even if she watched that death struggle with that Alizeh bitch it was just one match that only showed off a fraction of her tricks.

But... this was still an uphill battle.

She didn't have any of her ninja tools, Minami practically towered Kuro in height, and she her fighting style relied using a wide range of techniques, not just submissions. Whatever. Kuro'll find a way to make Minami-chan submit.

As she entered the ring Minami's cold smile never left her face, rather it turned a few shades colder at this new development. She was excited, excited to show this upstart who she was dealing with... but also to learn more about her through this now much longer match. 'Lets see exactly where all the confidence comes from and see if you're worthy.' Minami thought to herself as she turned to look at Kuro closely. The girl still had a cutesy smile on her face, but at this point it was an act and Minami knew it, not that it mattered to her one way or the other. 'A face of agony is the same once I get started. Doesn't matter how she acts before hand.'

Rolling her shoulders and stretching her waist a bit Minami would lock her eagle eyes with Kuro's own. "Minami chan has a scary look because Minami chan IS scary. Something you're going to become very familiar with soon." Minami said plainly, as if she wasn't even rebutting what Kuro said, but rather just stating the facts, because in Minami's opinion, that's all she was doing.

Cracking her knuckles Minami would offer one last snide smirk towards Kuro. "Good to know.. because I won't be gentle." Minami said before giving a 'come at me' gesture to Kuro, inviting her to make the first move. "Come now, show me what left all these lime heads in such a state." She said, waiting patiently for Kuro to come at her early on.

Bitch. Kuro's smile twitched as Minami approached the ropeless ring. That was the last response Kuro wanted to hear right now. She just dealt with one arrogant bitch, and even if Minami's record and reputation was a torch compared to the candle of Alizeh's her words still cut. I wonder what your ahego looks like... Turning this Venus into her personal toy might be a little more fun than she thought.

As Minami finally made herself ready Kuro gave her a bowed, an almost mocking gesture compared to her general tone so far. "Tehehehe~" Still, her heart was beating with excitement. If she could last a little longer and than the people she had taken out so far she'd get a good workout from it. "Here Kuro cooomes~" And no sooner did the words leave her mouth Kuro blitzed forward at blinding speed, shooting her legs out for a hard and sudden dropkick to Minami's chest. It might be a submission match, but Kuro said nothing about disallowing strikes. She'd brutalize Minami before getting to that submission.

Minami could tell just by the expression on Kuro's face that Minami's cocky words had gotten to her. Good. The more unfocused the girl was the easier she would be, but likewise the more dangerous due to her rage. 'This will be interesting.' Minami thought to herself as she finished her stretching, and just in time no less as the girl announced she would be coming. "Lets see then." Minami said, waiting not for long before the girl suddenly dashed forward with impressive speed and launched herself towards her with a drop kick.

As the girl approached however Minami would keep her eyes focused squarely on the girl, watching every movement, including when she ran forward. So between that and the girl announcing the start of her attack... Minami would dodge to the side, just avoiding the impact of the girl's feet with her. "You're fast." Minami said, commending the girl before rearing her leg back. "But impatient." She said before suddenly throwing her leg out, aiming to bash her foot into the girl's side once she landed back on the mat with a simple but effective stomp!
