An Unusual Challenge

"AAAAARRRRRGGHHHHHHH!" Lauren let out, stumbling back and slumping to a knee! She was gagging, coughing and struggling to breathe after that hit! Her eyes were wide in surprise as her head shook back and forth leaving the big woman in shock at the power of the strike as well as the effect it had on her!

"I won't lose this to you! I can't be a laughing stock here and I won't lose my contract!" Lauren said as she hobbled up, gritting her teeth and stepping in to deliver the biggest haymaker punch she could in a straight shot into Gemma's abdomen! Given how the last hit Lauren withstood rocked her hard this punch was either going to send Gemma to the ground or it would set up Lauren for another nasty shot which she would tense up her abs... at least the core muscles hiding under her belly... to maybe withstand some of the hard retaliation if Gemma somehow could withstand Lauren's fury!

Gemma shook out her arm as she watched Lauren forced down to a knee. “Hoo!” the Brit sighed, letting that shake go through her shoulders, then the rest of her body. Gemma hopped on her boots, shaking her head, trying to ready herself for the next blow. The high-flying steampunker was tougher than she looked, used to crashing and burning and taking rough falls from the top rope. Getting pounded on by a girl of Lauren’s size was something else!

“What?” Gemma’s eyes went wide as she heard Lauren make her proclamation, getting up. Clearly, this challenge was about more than Gemma had realized, but she still wasn’t quite prepared for all that! Lauren came up hard, swinging a wild punch for Gemma’s slender belly! “HOOOOFFFF!” Gemma took the whole thing, eyes doubling in size as her slender tummy soaked up the blow. Gemma came back down onto her boots with her arms wrapped around her belly. She wobbled for a moment, but the punky Brit wouldn’t let herself go down.

“Right then,” Gemma said, through clenched teeth, “looks like we’re on one of these, then!” Taking a deep breath, despite the pain, Gemma planted her boots solidly against the mat. The Brit swung hard, from a low angle, ready to drive her fist as hard as she could into Lauren’s belly. The Brit twisted her whole body into the blow, her braids whipping across either side of her head as she moved, swinging hard toward Lauren’s belly but aiming a good six inches past that!

Lauren tried to brace herself, but Gemma's fist smashed into her soft belly incredibly hard! Lauren cried out in pain her eyes shut as she stumbled back, falling to a knee and continuing to fall back until she was laid out, rapidly kicking the mat while cradling her abdomen as she was clearly in agonizing pain! "H-how did.... no way..." Lauren muttered to herself, shocked that she was yet again defeated by Gemma! She kicked the mat weakly as her soft legs rumbled like jello in an earthquake, the big woman also gasping for breath as she was once more laying on her back defeated.

Lauren eventually rolled to her side, her arms covering her face. She was wiping tears away but they were more from shame and embarrassment than the physical pain. She also did want to hide her face from Gemma and seemingly the whole world at this point.

“Hnngh!” Gemma couldn’t hold back a grunt as she delivered one more blow, with the force of her whole body behind it, right to the soft belly of Lauren. The two women had gone all out on this contest, trying to see who could take a punch better, and now Gemma could only step back, admire her handiwork, and hope for the best …

Gemma watched, breath caught in her chest, as Lauren stumbled back. Finally, the American fell, going to her knees and sputtering in disbelief at the pain. Gemma took a couple of staggered steps herself so that she could lean on a wall for support. Shaking out her striking hand, Gemma let out a deep sigh.

“You did a pretty good number yourself, luv,” Gemma said, rubbing her aching belly. Gemma studied Lauren as she went down, hiding her face in shame. “Look, Lauren, are we done, here? You don’t have to take it so hard …”

Lauren was down for a few moments as she struggled to make it back up to her feet. "I... I am tired of being a laughing stock! Have you ever had management call you in and say that your contract was a mistake? Its not just the losses... I am too old to be marketable. A lady in her mid 30's with a belly, lumpy legs and bumpy butt doesn't have a huge fan base, generate anything from photo shoots or sell merchandise with sex appeal the way almost every other woman on the roster does. If I can't win I am done. I can't even out strike or out slam someone half my size!" Lauren said shaking her head.

"I have seen you somehow take down Alaina with slams and its not s big secret that a powerhouse being powered around by smaller women just has extra shock value to the pain of the impact but ever since you beat me I have gotten the cold shoulder even more from management. I belong here damn it! I can wrestle!" Lauren shouted, more so to herself than to Gemma. "Tell ya what..... we each do a combo move and pin. Whoever stays down longer loses. My finisher is sort of a combo move so think of something like that and give me your best shot!" Lauren said still gasping for breath, standing with her hands on her hips.

Gemma listened to everything Lauren said in silence. A rarity for the punky Brit, but part of her couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Wide-eyed, Gemma chewed her lip as she heard Lauren’s story, more than a little shocked.

“Jaysis,” Gemma gasped, “they called and told you that? The nerve!” Gemma pushed herself to an upright position, standing across the gym mat from Lauren. “Besides, I doubt that makes you that unpopular. You shoulda seen some of the letters my partner Holly …” Gemma winced, “sorry, my ex-partner Holly, got after she put on a little baby weight. I just know some lads are tuning in to see you, there …”

Gemma shook her head. “Guess that’s not the point, though. Look, I can understand what you’re saying. I had an abysmal tag team run. Like, literally the worst tag team ever, no matter where we went, kind of run. I … I did some bad stuff, to get out of that. If you’re getting the cold shoulder because I beat you, luv … Well, it means they don’t respect me much, either. So you can see where I’m coming from, eh?”

“Tell you what, luv, let’s do it. This contest of yours, I’m game.” Gemma nodded to Lauren, making certain the blonde was ready before she moved. In honor of this contest, and hoping to get them on a better footing, Gemma offered a hand, hoping that Lauren would shake on it.

Lauren looked intently at Gemma and nodded. "I... thank you for being so understanding. Aside from a few women I train with no one really seems to want anything to do with me." Lauren said as she saw Gemma extend her hand. Lauren finally lightened up enough to smile a genuine smile before getting herself ready, hopping up and down as her body trembled.

"ok... I am gonna hit you with a continuous string of moves and I bet if I landed this in our match you would never have kicked out!" Lauren said before stepping up to Gemma, scooping her up and lifting her high, holding her parallel to the ground. Lauren let out a shout as she stepped forward, hitting a backbreaker! The big flabby woman grunted as she stood up still holding Gemma, stepping forward for a second backbreaker! Taking a deep breath, trembling as she tensed up Lauren lift Gemma up more quickly, spinning her torso as she converted the dual back breakers into a spinning powerslam!

"YEAH! That is it!" Lauren said as she remained on top of Gemma, keeping a leg hooked and seeing how long Gemma would stay down!

“Yeah, well, I know how that goes,” Gemma admitted, rubbing the back of her neck. “After a while here, the only gym buddy I could find was Holly and, well, that bridge is good and burnt. So, you know, maybe a weird workout like this can be good for both of us!” Gemma watched Lauren limber up, and readied herself for whatever the blonde would throw her way. Or at least, Gemma thought she would be ready.

“Woah!” Gemma squealed as Lauren hoisted her up, the blonde’s ambition startling her. Then, came the backbreakers! “AAAAUGH! AAAAARGHH!” Each backbreaker drew a scream of pain from Gemma’s slender throat, all of them taking their toll on her body. Gemma’s body was panting against Lauren, even before she was brought down one final time, for the spinning powerslam!

“AAAAAAgghh~” Gemma cried out, choking off her scream at the end. The punky Brit lay beneath her foe for a long moment, sucking wind. Gemma took deep breaths, wincing in pain. Once or twice, she tried to throw an arm up in the air but could only manage a twitch. Then, finally, the Air Raid Siren threw an arm into the air, gasping as she did so. “Huh … huhhh … H-how was that?” Gemma asked, eyes still closed.

Lauren felt better about this than she did about Gemma kicking out of all her slams at about one and a half. However, the confident Lauren again had her bubble burst at least a little bit. "You kicked out at about 2.7, I almost had you but.... you pretty much did just kick out of my finisher or a variant of it." Lauren said shaking her head in shock as she was impressed at Gemma's grit.

She stood up and shaking out her arms as well as her legs, waiting for Gemma to get up. What the heck move combination was she going to face? A crazy strike combo capped by a high flying move? Would Gemma try to do the move Lauren just did to her? Lauren did think back and recalled Gemma in a tag match deadlifting the heavier Alaina Sanders-Haines off the mat and slamming her hard before surprisingly pinning her.... Lauren wasn't sure what to expect but she was doing her best to prepare herself.

“Ooooh,” Gemma moaned, placing one hand over her midriff and draping the other arm over her face. “Well, I hate to admit this, but this isn’t a match … If you’d hit that after we’d gone around in the ring a few times, I’d pretty much be done for.” Even if this was a somewhat friendly competition, at least now, Gemma did hate to admit that. Still, the Brit sucked it up, rolled onto her bum, and eventually pushed herself to her feet.

“Ooookay,” Gemma said, swinging her arms behind her back for a stretch, “looks like it’s my turn, luv!” Gemma’s mind was racing, trying to figure out what to do. Maybe, if she caught Lauren off-guard, did something unexpected …

First, Gemma stepped in and delivered a hard kick to Lauren’s belly, doubling her over. Then, the Brit would hook Lauren’s arms, hoisting her up and bringing her down to hit a facebreaker across the knee. Huffing, Gemma was still just trying to soften Lauren up for her coup de grace: releasing Lauren after the facebreaker, Gemma would reach out to place a hand between Lauren’s thighs, and another around her shoulder. Then, Gemma would give a pained roar of effort as she hoisted the blonde up into the air. Gemma staggered, twisting her body as she turned, and planted Lauren into the canvas with a powerslam of her own! Exhausted, Gemma would lay across her opponent, waiting for the kickout!
