Natalie gulped as Chelsea stood over her and mocked her for her mistake as the skater started backing up. She held her hands up in a pleading attempt as Jonathan did a bit of a face palm considering this was an open spar.

“Chels, listen, that whole pirate thing….just jokes. Haha, funny times! Can’t we be best buds? Weed buds? Drinking buds? Hell, I’ll kiss your feet if it comes to that,” Natalie promised, but that last part was purely out of desperation should anyone ask.

Chelsea wasn’t having any of it and lifted her foot shooting it straight into Natalie’s gut. The skater puffed her cheeks holding her abdomen and tries rolling to a corner to get away from Chelsea’s revenge.

Lyra felt her back grimacing at the pain, but Brianna would hold her down yet again locking her left arm behind her back in a hammerlock. The fortune teller would be hoisted to her feet before Brianna used her free hand to chop the back! Lyra let out a painful scream of agony before Brianna twirled in front of her to deliver another chop to Lyra’s chest! Brianna was too fast to counter as Lyra backed up gripping her chest as the tornado came at her once more. This time, Brianna flung her legs around Lyra’s neck trying for a Headscissors Takedown, but just as Lyra was launched, she surprised everyone by cartwheeling into it and performing a backflip to land safely on her feet. She crossed her arms smirking at Brianna, but winced as the chops still had effect.

“You’re very crafty, but I still have more years under Jonathan’s tutelage. He taught me that counter before you two even met,” Lyra boasted, but blushed as her crush cheered her on.

Lyra got back in the game hoping to go for a Spinning Heel Kick, but expected Brianna to dodge and she tried saving the move with a Dragon Whip Kick to the champion’s face!

Now that she was down, and with Chelsea standing over her with a disapproving glare, Natalie tried to flip the script, making excuses for her prior taunts in an attempt to talk herself out of trouble. Unfortunately for her, Chelsea wasn't hearing any of it. The Englishwoman folded her arms, the scowl on her face never changing as she looked Natalie in the eye. Natalie had done far too much to disrespect her for Chelsea to overlook it all so easily. And she wasn't finished with Natalie until she deemed it so!

"Yeah, yeah, se...I think not!" Gritting her teeth, Chelsea slammed her foot straight downward into Natalie's gut! She could feel her abdomen sink inward against the strike as the air was driven out of her lungs. But she still wasn't quite done. She lifted her foot again, prepared to bring down another stomp just as hard as the first. But this time, at the same time as Chelsea got ready to strike, Natalie rolled aside - and the sole of her shoe would only come down against the mat!

"Gah-!!" Chelsea's face contorted in a wince as she doubled over forward, clutching her leg. The shock of the impact rippled up her shin as the canvas shook beneath her. She needed a moment to collect herself and shake the cobwebs out of her head - but as soon as that had happened, she spun back around to face Natalie, her eyes aglow with hate! "GET BACK 'ERE!!" she roared, suddenly throwing herself closer as she attempted to pounce on top of the skater!

Brianna had just landed a few hard chops against Lyra, each one keeping her stunned and lining her up for the next. A confident grin began to spread across her face. Lyra might have given her trouble in the past; she might even have proven herself to be a handful in this spar. But it seemed the Wildcat Champion was well on her way to reclaiming the dominant position. When she kicked up her legs to throw them around Lyra's head, she was already convinced this would be the crescendo of her combo, taking the fortune teller to the mat in a spectacular display. But to her surprise, as Lyra was flung, she managed to roll with the motions, righting herself on her feet with an impressive display of acrobatics!

Brianna rolled herself up from where she had landed on the mat, rubbing at her back. When she saw what Lyra was capable of, her jaw dropped in a gasp - she could hardly believe what she was seeing! "Okay...I'll give you that, THAT was impressive," she said. Sanae applauded, and even Yuki had to join in. But she still got back up, and she sank into a stance, lifting her hands. "I'm sure Jon's taught you quite a bit. However, I'm champion for a reason!"

She took off running toward Lyra, hoping to close in on her. The blonde hopped up to swing her foot in an arc, but Brianna had the time to adjust; she swerved to the side, letting it pass her head by. However, she was still in range of Lyra's next attack - and she kicked off her foot to slam it into Brianna's jaw as she flipped through the air! The Tornado's head was thrown to the side with a crack, and the rest of her body soon followed, as she came crashing to the mat clutching at her face. And Sanae would only cheer louder - not only was Lyra pulling off some impressive feats, she was standing up to a champion!

Natalie escaped from Chelsea as she felt the ring shake under her from Chelsea’s stomp. Natalie huddled in the bottom corner as Chelsea was on the warpath and her eyes widened to the size of clear balloons as she tried exiting the ring, but got tangled in the bottom rope. She thrashed around trying to get herself out of this pickle, but unintentionally just pushed herself back in. Natalie made a desperate escape under Chelsea’s legs when she reached closer. If that worked, Natalie would pull Chelsea downwards and try for a rollup pin! Jonathan would get down to count it.

“1!”

Lyra connected hard with her Dragon Whip kick sending Brianna straight down on the mats to cover her face after suffering a good kick. However, Lyra never advanced as she had to take a few moments to breathe. She then extended a hand to Brianna in order to help her back up to her feet.

“I always love testing myself against you, but that was a nasty impact I did there. Maybe you should rest for a few minutes while I spar someone else. Yuki, I haven’t tested myself against you yet. Care to spar?” Lyra offered the lightweight joshi.

Chelsea knew she had been wronged. Natalie had teased her, mocked her, and made her feel like a joke - and those were all things that, more than anything else, she simply couldn't stand. There was only so much Chelsea could take before she needed to set the matter straight. And all Natalie was doing was stoking her rage even further, making her all the more desperate to see the skater punished for her insolence. But now, it seemed like Natalie was about to taste some long-awaited payback. Tied up in her own skates, she was in a predicament just as humbling as she'd put Chelsea through before. And the Englishwoman couldn't wait to add injury to insult.

But just as she was lining up another stomp, Natalie rolled away! This simply wouldn't do - Chelsea was here to assert her dominance, and the last thing she wanted was to concede that to someone who couldn't even stand! Her teeth clenched in a snarl, she turned to chase after Natalie, looking to tackle her. But Natalie landed in the ropes, getting herself tangled up. Normally, that would have left her vulnerable. But Chelsea was already in motion - and instead, she crashed into the cables, the impact knocking the air out of her as she sputtered and coughed! She slumped against the ropes, leaving her open for those precious few seconds that Natalie was able to escape - and to grab her by the legs, rolling her off her feet for the pin!

Chelsea had been completely taken by surprise - she was so certain that Natalie wasn't going anywhere that she never would have seen it coming. But as Jonathan got down to count the pin, that surprise soon turned to rage. Her eyes were wide in shock, but soon they narrowed in a glare. She wasn't going to let herself get counted out to someone with their shoes literally tied together! One fist pounded the mat in frustration, and she kicked up with her leg to try and escape the pin. If that worked, she would sit up and spin back around to glare at Jonathan. "Dat didn't count-!" she spat, desperate to save face.

Brianna had gone down, but Lyra decided she needed a chance to catch her breath. So too did her trainer, who rolled over onto her back before sitting up and rubbing her chin. "Okay...that was a pretty good hit there," she said, nodding her head to Lyra. She took her hand and pulled herself back to her feet - and when she heard the fortune teller's proposal, she shrugged her shoulders and took a step back.

"Yeah, you know what...I think that might do me good," Brianna muttered in between pants. Even for someone she'd wrestled before, Lyra was surprising her when it came to what she was capable of, and if she was going to teach this class, it wouldn't do her any good to get worn out. "Besides, seeing how you and the others approach each other will let me pinpoint your strengths." She looked to Yuki as Lyra offered her a chance next - and the dark-haired girl nodded her head as she took a step forward, cracking her knuckles. Sanae patted her on the back to wish her good luck, but Yuki sank into a stance, her eyes locked on Lyra.

"I'll do my best!" she shouted. With that, Yuki took off running to close the distance on Lyra; as she came close, she would move to kick up a knee aimed for her ribs!

“2!” Jonathan would count as Chelsea’s shoulders were still pinned, but the Englishwoman kicked out with all the fury she could muster.

Chelsea spun on her heel as she glared at Jonathan trying to argue with his decision. Jonathan shook his head and placed his hands on his hips shooting back a glare of his own at the bunny brawler.

“Fair is fair, Chelsea. She had you pinned fairly, but you’re still in the match. The referee is not your enemy. Just doing their job whether you agree with the decision or not,” Jonathan chided his student.

Natalie smacked the mat herself as Chelsea escaped her desperate attempt at putting this match away. She had to get out of the ring quickly and try to figure out some way to untie her skates. With Chelsea distracted, Natalie crawled quickly for the ropes and tried slipping out to the mats below her for breathing room.

Brianna would agree to take a seat next to Sanae as Lyra got down in her own stance circling Yuki in order to scope out any openings. Yuki is a joshi wrestler and a pretty good one at that having done this stuff in the ring since high school. She’s taken on a lot of tough customers and overcame them which led her to qualifying for Apex very early. Lyra saw Yuki running towards her with incredible speed and launch her knee into her stomach making Lyra spit out. Lyra would hold her stomach and back up towards the wall groaning in pain.

Jonathan tried to explain the situation to Chelsea, but one way or another, the Englishwoman was not amused. Grumbling to herself, she picked herself up and dusted herself off, with a roll of her eyes toward his reassurances. "Yeah, yeah...dat's wha' dee all say, like..." she muttered under her breath. Chelsea had had her own disagreements with referees before, and she was the type to live by her own rules, no matter how much the officials tried to stick their noses into her business. Jonathan might have been her friend, but she wasn't in the mood to be lectured.

Still, she understood that Jonathan wasn't the most pressing problem here. She still had her qualms with Natalie - and right now, as a matter of fact, the skater was trying to slip away from her! Chelsea looked over just in time to see Natalie slip under the ropes, and her jaw dropped in a gasp as she shook herself back to her senses. She wasn't done here - and she wouldn't let Natalie get away this easily! "OUTI DE WAY-!!" she roared, trying to push past Jonathan as she took off toward the ropes; if she could make it that far, she would spring over the top to try and slam onto Natalie from inside the ring with a suicide dive!

Now that Lyra had issued the challenge to Yuki, she was going to open this with guns blazing. Although Yuki's careful planning, strategic thought, and methodical attention to her surroundings was perhaps her greatest asset, she also had speed and quick reflexes on her side. Yuki knew that Lyra at least believed she could see the future - and when she'd seen her matches, she honestly had to ask herself how much of that was true, with how easily she seemed to anticipate what her opponents were going to do. But hopefully, if she was quick enough, she could hit Lyra before she had a chance to respond!

Sure enough, Lyra doubled over forward where Yuki's knee had hit. The joshi wrestler was eager to push the advantage, and she kept that momentum going. She would grab for Lyra's head while she was bent over, pulling it onto her shoulder as she turned to face in the same direction. If that worked, she would drop straight down to try and pull Lyra off her feet and hit a stunner!

Jonathan had to shake his head at Chelsea brushing him off. Even if she had won her war with Finella a few months ago, Chelsea still settled on her pride getting in the way. This girl just wouldn’t learn, would she? Chelsea pushed him aside going for the ropes and Natalie just got up in time for Chelsea to shoulder barge her with a suicide dive making Natalie flip over on her stomach. The skater groaned completely at Chelsea’s mercy, but Jonathan had to not let Chelsea’s pride get the better of her. He slipped out of the ring and got in the Englishwoman’s way.

“Change of plans. I’m also in this match now. We’ll just count our own pins,” Jonathan stated.

Lyra felt herself being flung forward as Yuki wrapped her arms up around the neck and then slam herself down for a Stunner! Lyra felt the impact springing up and then falling on her back on the mats. She turned on her side coughing and rolled back up to her feet after giving herself a few deep breaths. The fortune teller then faced Yuki coming in with a Lariat in mind. If that worked, once Yuki was on her back, she would take one of the joshi’s arms and lock in an Armbreaker laying her legs across Yuki’s chest!

It was at this point Rylie started to rise back up to her feet, biting her lower lip gently and letting out a grunt as she did a few squats, almost as if trying to pick a wedgie without using her hands as she was still recovering from landing on the ropes crotch first as her racoon tail was drooping. She stood up and turned to look at Jonathan claiming to join in on the match. "Oooo, how about instead of a fatal four way we turn this into a tag match? Me and you versus Natalie and Chelsea?" She asked as she appeared to have finished recovering as her tail started to slowly sway back and forth again.

In a dramatic leap, Chelsea took off over the top rope. It didn't matter how much she had endured up to that point - what was far more important was the indignities she had suffered at Natalie's hands, which she had no intentions of letting pass by unaddressed! Just thinking about what an annoyance her opponent had been was enough to make her brow furrow in frustration, and her teeth to clench in a snarl. She wouldn't be satisfied until Natalie had well and truly paid for her insolence - and she wouldn't consider that task complete until she made sure Natalie hurt!

With a thud, she came crashing into the skater, bowling the two of them to the floor in a heap! Chelsea rolled a short distance away from Natalie, still riding on the momentum of the landing. But Natalie had still absorbed the worst of it - and now that she was down, Chelsea was sure she could press the advantage!

Propping herself up on her hands and knees, Chelsea panted for breath, shaking herself out. She rose to her feet, where her eyes settled on Natalie. Bending at the knee, she prepared to take off after her foe - right when Jonathan forced himself in between her and her target! At the sight of it, Chelsea let out a gasp, skidding suddenly to a stop, as she looked back at the veteran with a wide-eyed stare. "WHA'!?" Ye...ye can't juss do that-!" she protested - but either way, it seemed as though this had become a four-way match!

And what was worse was that Rylie was actually proposing she team up with the annoying little brat! The very thought of it made Chelsea sick to her stomach, and the glare she shot back said as much, as she rose a fist to the raccoon girl. "NOT ON YE SORRY LOIFE!!!"

Yuki was having somewhat more success with her efforts. As she hit the stunner, both she and Lyra plummeted to the mat, landing with a thud in a blur of rapid motion. She too rolled aside, pushing herself back up and flicking a few stray strands of hair out of her face as she caught her breath. Then, she rose to her feet, keeping a close eye on Lyra. She was sure that after a blow like that, she would be winded - but she couldn't count the blonde out yet. Cautiously, she approached Lyra, with her arms raised for a guard. When she saw Lyra coming her way with a lariat, Yuki let out a gasp - in that moment, a shudder ran down her spine, and she started to duck down to brace herself for impact. But she was too late - Lyra's blow struck true, and Yuki was thrown off her feet, flinging her through the air!

She came crashing onto her back, her legs kicking up into the air as the wind was driven out of her lungs. When she fell back, she was left panting and gasping - and her torments had only begun! Lyra grabbed her arm beween her legs, stretching it as far as she could, and Yuki could feel all her tendons and joints pulled taut against her grip. Her hips rose from the mat as she cried out in pain, while her legs kicked in the air and she twisted and turned from side to side to try and escape.

Jonathan was set on teaching Chelsea a lesson in controlling her anger and not giving into her pride, but Rylie actually had a good idea. The raccoon girl had recovered pretty nicely wanting to team with the coach and this gave Jonathan a good idea. He saw Chelsea rage at the thought of not making Natalie pay with her life and instead actually try to form a team with the skater girl she had come to loathe with a passion. Jonathan tapped his chin at Rylie’s offer and nodded his head knowing he had full authority over this class.

“I’ll take that action, Rylie. In fact, Chelsea seems to have a bone to pick with you. I’ll take care of Natalie,” Jonathan stated as he stepped aside for the two hardcore brawlers to hash it out.

“Uh….does this mean I get down time, coach?” Natalie asked with sweat dripping down her forehead.

“Eh, why not? You’re not going anywhere,” Jonathan replied as he pointed at Natalie’s tied skates and she blushed sitting up to untie them.

Lyra kept the hold up as much as she could as Yuki tried thrashing her way out of it. She was beginning to have a loosened grip on Yuki’s arm, but she kept it in for as long as she could. Lyra gritted her teeth wrenching and pulling back as hard as she could. If Lyra had to break the hold due to Yuki loosening her grip, it wouldn’t be without a fight. These two seemed evenly matched from the get go and Lyra wouldn’t mind an actual match in the ring against Yuki sometime.
