A Lightweight Encounter (For Noob)

Now that she was at Julia's mercy, Yuki was facing a difficult situation. With her low tolerance for pain, Yuki tended to not take submissions well - and it was starting to become readily apparent that this was an area Julia specialized in. The girl was tense with fearful anticipation of what was to come, as Julia further advanced the hold by wrapping her legs around hers and guiding her head back against her chest. "Nngh..." she muttered to herself, so far not entirely thrilled about the prospect of giving Julia the submission she was asking for. Even if it hurt - and the pressure on her back was definitely starting to get uncomfortable - and even if Yuki didn't fare well in times like these typically, she would keep her mouth shut for now.

Doing her best to struggle, Yuki managed to pull one arm loose, but Julia would only compensate with the other, clenching down harder. "Ghhk-!" Yuki gasped, more out of surprise from the pressure she had suddenly felt than any real struggle to breathe. But regardless, things were looking bad, and Julia would feel a cold sweat start to bead at the back of her neck. With things only getting worse, Yuki thought, she didn't know how to get out of this one - and she also knew that trying to tough it out, at the risk of injury, wouldn't be a good idea for the career ahead of her. Still, she was reluctant to swallow her pride, and only a soft murmur would escape her lips. "Mmf...f-fine..."

While Julia was struggling to hold Yuki down, it appeared that Yuki was struggling to hang in there. The woman was trying to tough it out but it was apparent to both wrestlers that it wasn't going to be happening for much longer. The pair jostled back and forth until finally Yuki conceded. Almost immediately Julia let go of the other woman atop her before sprawling out and letting out a sigh of relief. "Whew. That was struggle. Almost lost ya." The bluenette said as she lay back and would wait for Yuki to get up and off of her. She'd give the other wrestler a moment, not really wanting to just shove her to the side.

Eventually Julia would get back up to her feet and wipe the sweat accumulating on her forehead. "Okayyyyy...up for another round? I can probably go one or two more if you're up for it." The bluenette said before stretching herself out, twisting her waist from side to side. She was curious to see just how eager Yuki was to continue after seeing what she could do. She was hoping her sparring partner was up for more though. So far the spar had not just provided Julia with a bit of a confidence boost after having taken a break from fighting, it was also definitely a good workout. "So? Ready to get your butt handed to you again? Or maybe I'll think of something more fun. Maybe loser buys a snack." The gymnast teased, barely holding in a giggle as she tried to egg Yuki on.

Yuki was too embarrassed by the gesture to voice her submission in much more than a whisper, but apparently, it was enough. Julia released her, and she rolled off and onto her side, panting to catch her breath. With a grimace from the discomfort of the act, Yuki stretched out her back to limber up from the hold, then rolled up to her knees. "You're...good at holds like that, I have to say," Yuki admitted. "It's never been my strong suit...but it's something to work on, I guess."

Slowly but surely Yuki rose to her feet as well, taking the time to wipe off her brow and slick the hair out of her eyes. She would soon lock eyes with Julia once again, and a confident smirk crossed her face, the shame of her surrender soon fading. She had another shot at this, and she wasn't about to waste it! Cracking her knuckles, Yuki put up her fists and got into a stance. "Oh yeah, I'll do it!" she called. She took in a slow, deep breath, looking to compose herself.

Last time, Yuki thought, she had jumped ahead into things without caring for the consequences. She had gotten cocky in setting herself up for a hurricanrana, and she had paid the price. For now, she would stick with keeping her attention on Julia and trying to keep her under control. As soon as she had gotten her bearings, Yuki ran towards Julia, looking like she had a clothesline readied. However, at the last minute she would swerve to try and throw a knee at her side instead!

It appeared Yuki still had plenty of fight left in her. Now all Julia had to do was knock it out. "Good! Then let's goooo~" The blunette sang. She was having a good deal of fun so far and this next round promised to be just as entertaining. She had expected a bit more time though and when Yuki ran towards her she would instinctively try to duck a clothesline. Unfortunately she didn't have time to realize that it was just a feint. Before she knew it, Yuki's knee drove into her side and a pained yelp escaped her lips. "Ahhhnng!" The bluenette cried out as she stumbled to the side. The gymnast ended up leaning against the ropes, holding her side with a wince.

"Nnnng...hard hitter." She commented. It was supposed to be a compliment but she found it hard to get the appropriate words out. Instead she struggled to stand back up straight, her body still stinging from the hit. It was times like these that reminded the bluenette why she always tried to stay behind an opponent and avoid any impacts. "Let's see you...try that again." Julia pouted, the smile she once had now gone from her face.

As soon as she was back on her feet, Yuki found herself back in the game, and she was already rushing in to deliver another strike on Julia. She had had time to adapt and get accustomed with what the blue-haired girl could do over the course of this match, and she figured that a head-on assault could only go poorly for her, electing to try and feint her out instead to set up something better. And she had been right on the money, too - Julia went to duck, but it would only put her right in the path of Yuki's knee as it shot out for her side!

Watching her opponent go stumbling back, Yuki returned to her stance, raising her fists and narrowing her eyes. As Julia landed on the ropes, it seemed that she had now adopted the same serious, no-nonsense attitude as Yuki. For just a moment, a smile came to the raven-haired rookie's face; she knew she was doing something right, and she could keep it up. Especially with Julia challenging her! A moment later she returned to her calm and focused state, readying her next move.

"You will see it, all right," Yuki replied. She shot out another kick, this one with the sole of her foot as she aimed it for Julia's chest.

Still holding her side, Julia pushed herself away from the ropes. It wasn't long before she was standing back up straight with her arms raised. Yuki wasted no time following up though and quickly landed a kick to Julia's chest. It wasn't close to being the largest target in LAW but Yuki had first hand experience that Julia's bust was big enough. Now though it was sent bouncing much like the bluenette who was sent back against the ropes by the impact. "Guuughhh!" She cried out as the air was knocked right out of her.

The gymnast would bounce against the ropes and use the momentum to make her way right back towards Yuki. While Yuki had faked a clothesline, Julia planned on landing one. Sure she wouldn't be able to impact quite as hard as she wished but she hoped her lightweight frame was still able to generate enough force to knock her sparring partner right back down to the ground. If Julia could get her back there then she knew it would only be a matter of time before she once again could coil herself around the other wrestler and coax another submission out of her as it seemed Yuki appreciated the close contact and stretching about as much as Julia enjoyed getting hit.

For a moment, even Yuki would have to wince at seeing how hard her kick landed, especially in an area she herself knew was sensitive. Yuki wasn't consciously aiming there so much as she was for the center of mass, and for a moment she was gripped by panic, wondering if Julia would think this was supposed to be payback from earlier. A cry of "Sorry-!" escaped her for a moment - but Yuki was quick to catch herself. She couldn't lose sight of her goal. She saw where that would take her - and she wasn't planning on letting that happen again.

Julia came running for her, with the momentum of the ropes building on the force of her lunge. Yuki knew she wouldn't have much time to react, and that she would have to think fast, but she didn't have any plans of letting herself get hit. Thinking she could apply her own agility to a situation like this, Yuki ducked down and went to roll between Julia's legs in order to come out behind her.

Julia's arm sailed forward but there was no impact. Realizing Yuki had just went under her, she slowed her forward momentum after a few more steps. "Waaah hey!" She gasped. Her face had now turned a light shade of red as she was a bit embarrassed to have let the other woman just slip under her like that. The gymnast knew she couldn't keep her back to her opponent too long though or she risked being unprepared for whatever Yuki had planned. "No fair. I was trying to hit ya." She whined, only half joking.

Hoping to make her move before Yuki did, Julia would throw her foot backwards once she had stopped stumbling forward. The kick wasn't exactly aimed anywhere in particular but the bluenette figured a shot in the dark was better than just letting Yuki make her move unchallenged. If she was lucky she might even land a quick blow to the other wrestler. Really though she just was hoping to deter any follow up by her sparring partner until she was able to turn around and ready herself for it. While she hadn't done too great at dodging Yuki's strikes so far, this time could always be different.

It was now Yuki's turn to avoid eating a clothesline, as she dropped to the floor and rolled out of the way to let Julia pass her by. The gymnast would only know what had happened she she would feel her forearm hit nothing but air, and by that time Yuki was already popping back up behind her, turning on her heel to face her down. "Maybe I don't want to be hit, then," she would respond. She couldn't help but blush a little as she realized how lame her comeback was, but that wasn't the most important thing on her mind right now; she had to keep moving.

Yuki was in the process of closing in behind Julia, but she would stop in her tracks as her foot kicked out behind her. Yuki was too far away for the strike to hit her, but it did a fine job of limiting where she could go; she hopped back from the trajectory, falling back into a stance. Silently, Yuki bit at her lip, keeping her eyes on Julia. Now she knew she wasn't quite out of things just yet.

Julia kicked her leg awkwardly behind her, making contact with only the air. A bit red in the face she'd turn to Yuki and flash her a quick smile. "Heh...glad no one else was here to see that one." She stated, clearly embarrassed about her missed strike. She wouldn't let that get to her for long though and quickly prepared herself for the next move. "Next one's gonna hit ya right in the...ummm...hmmm..." She started to say before trailing off. She didn't exactly want to kick her sparring partner in the face but that was the first word that would have came to mind.

Raising her arms, the bluenette readied herself for her next attack. She wasn't going to let Yuki garner all the offence. "Anyway! I can hit hard too ya know!" She yelled before hurling a punch aimed towards Yuki's stomach. She was determined to try to compete with Yuki at her own game now. Or at least that's what she would do until the opportunity to go back to her old tricks arose. Until then though the lightweight would have to practice dishing out blows and hopefully dodging them as well.
