A show of Gratitude: Oscar Orelash and Katrina Kelly

"Hey, not my fault meat tastes so good!"

Iscar would dramatically puff his cheeks out at Katrina's snickering, totally hamming it up for the ninja. He'd chuckle afterwards and peek at the menu

"Aw man... they got a brownie with ice cream? Sold. That's my desert"

When the waiter came around, Oscar would smile as he collected his drink

"Thanks! So... I'll have two extra large slices of the meat lovers, please"

With the orders taken, the young lion turns his attention back to his date

"Oh- that? Well... there's a lot to understand about fire breathing but to put it simply: no it dosen't hurt since it's the ultra-pure lamp oil I use being on fire and not my skin, I got used to the taste within three months, and I learned it at my old job"

Oscar would take a sip of his drink

"You ever hear of medieval times? That dinner and show place? I used to be an actor there before becoming a wrestler! My old supervisor taught me everything"

"Oh is that what it's called? I've only been there one, but I absolutely loved that place, the fight choreography was so good, and eating with just your hands was a fun experience. If you were still working there and I was in the audience, would I be your maiden that you would fight for?" She asked as she took a quick drag from her cigarette before pulling it from her lips and exhaling the smoke in the air with a smile before she looked back down at Oscar with a grin.

"Oh absolutely. No doubt about that. Toss the rose at you and everything"

Oscar grinned back and chucked with a slight flush in his cheeks

"Was very hard work at times, but tons of fun. I've always been a sucker for fantasy stuff or anything nerd-related for that matter. Felt like a living fantasy"

He let out a sigh as he remembered his old workplace

"Still think about it sometimes... but I know my place is here as a wrestler"

He'd nod his head with a confident look in his eyes

"I was uncertain about what or who I wanted to be for a long time but shoot, after this week here? I know more than ever I belong in that ring. This is a life I want"

"Aww!" Katrina gushed as she put her cigarette in the ash tray, she then stood up as she walked over to Oscar's side of the table as she wrapped her arms around his neck hugging him close as she gave him a kiss on the cheek before pulling her lips away and walking back around to back down cross legged in her seat. "Sorry, I felt like that was such a good answer that you needed to be rewarded." she mentioned as she was deeply blushing. She then nodded listening to him. "Oh I couldn't agree with you more, I'm a huge dungeons and dragons nerd and would love to go to a renaissance festival and all that. She mentioned as she picked back up her cigarette, flicking it a few times to make some ashes fall into the tray as she brought it back up close to her face again. "But hey, you still have bits of your old job with you, I mean you are wrestling as a barbarian, so you have a nice fantasy mix going on already."

As Katrina came over to embrace him and kiss him on the cheek, she'd leave Oscar with a goofy smile on his face and blushing on his cheeks.

"Hehehe... aw... well... it's no problem. Happy that you're happy"

Oscar would look quite surprised at the mention of Katrina's love for DnD

"Wait- really? Wow... you're full of surprises, aren't you? And like- yeah! A renaissance fair would be great to visit. I haven't been to one myself either but I bet you'd kill it there. I hear models sometimes go to those places in costume to promote some brand of cosplay company so you could totally make jaws drop in a costume"

"Wha? You're surprised with me?" She giggled as she took another drag from her cigarette, pulling it from her lips as she exhaled the smoke in a thin steam away from everyone and giggled. "Don't be fooled by me, I'm a huge geek." she then nodded her head in interest about the cosplay company comment. Well I don't have a cosplay company, I just tailor make my own wigs, costumes, and purchase contact lenses when I need to. Oh look, food's here!" She mentioned as she thanked the waiter when they set their plates down as she put out her cigarette in the ash tray. She then had a mischievous look on her face as she stood up and walked over and sat on Oscar's lap. "I'm going to make this date a little more interesting and feed you." She mentioned as she picked up one of Oscar's slices of pizza. "Ooo this looks good, let me know how it tastes." She said enthusiastically as she guided the slice towards Oscar's mouth.

"Just really happy to have a lot in common with you"

Oscar would chuckle before seeing the pizza come their was, smiling at it

"That's some really good looking-"

The young lion's train of thought would come to a screeching halt as he found Katrina in his lap. A heavy blush appeared on his face as one of his hands found its way to her back, gently lying flat against her as a means of keeping her steady as he listed to her offer.

"Uhhhh... you know what? Go ahead. I'll rate"

He'd open up his mouth with a smile as he took a bite out of the pizza slice. After a couple of seconds of chewing, Oscar's eyes would light up!

"Mm! Oh- this is the best stuff ever!"

He'd take another bite. and another!

"Mpmh.. the ingredients must be fresh or high quality.. or both! Katrina you gotta try your slice now. Maybe... hold on"

Oscar would extend an arm and try to grab at Katrina's pizza

"Maybe I can return the favor? Just... gotta reach it"

As Katrina assisted with feeding Oscar, she would occasionally pluck a topping from his slice. Letting out a comical "Chomp!" as she chewed on the topping before swallowing it. She then noticed Oscar trying to reach across the table, she twisted her upper body to face his own as she leaned back to assist him in being able to stretch further. Even with her arching back to help him, her lips were close to his own as she looked into his eyes and smiled softly. "You can do it." she said encouragingly, rather it was meant for him to be able to reach the pizza or for him to go in for the kiss was hard to tell.

Oscar would just freeze when he realized how close Katrina was to him. How close she was to his face. The young lion would wind up staring into her eyes, blinking a couple of times in shock as his cheeks remained red. His eyes would glance up to the pizza. Then to Katrina before speaking

"Um... so... at the risk of sounding like a dork I have to ask..."

Oscar's voice was quiet as a whisper as his lips, intentional or not, were just barely brushing the ninja's lips

"...are you talking about reaching the pizza? Or... something else?"

As Oscar's lips brushed against hers, it was close enough that she didn't even speak to give the answer. She closed her eyes as she leaned forward just enough so their lips pressed into each other. She didn't go further, meaning she wasn't going for any tongue action as she cupped her hand to the back of Oscar's head. Her other hand stretched back, grabbing her plate and sliding it so Oscar could feel the plate in his hand to grip it as Katrina pulled her lips away as she bit her lip gently, hoping Oscar wasn't bothered by that.
