Who's Next?

Seeing Haley run off into the distance, the two Forsters stood for a moment, watching, before they turned back to one another.

"Well, at least she's enthusiastic," Molly said. "She sounds fun!"

"Fun 'ta kick 'de railings outta, maybe. C'mon, Moll, let's go, like," Chelsea responded, turning back to continue with the routine they had set out.

It is about this time that Vanessa arrives at the gym. Usually a punctual person, she accidentally overslept today, so she already running late. The blonde girl had on a pair of black sweatpants and a sweatshirt that she had managed to throw on before she left. It perhaps wasn't the best thing to wear, given what she predicted Hayley would be making them do, but she liked this outfit.

As she was panting from all the running she was doing, she managed to make it to the gym entrance. No sooner had she stepped inside the air-conditioned building did she bump into the very person she was looking for.

"Woah! Hey Hen-Hen! Sorry I'm late. Lots of traffic and all that. But why are you all the way out here? I expected to see you in the gym already starting the work out. You weren't waiting for me, were you?"

Surprised!

Hayley was running back, planning to find her friend, when she almost into her at the gym entrance! With some quick footwork, she twists out of the way just in time, and turns to look at Vanessa, smiling. "Of course! We're supposed to train together! Oh! I wanted to bring something else up too... What do you think about doing a tag match??" She asked her.

"A tag match?" Vanessa asked, surprised by the question. With little to no context, she was left grasping for straws in terms of what Hayley was getting on about.

"You mean right now? But I thought we were here to work out? I didn't bring any adequate gear with me!" She started to panic a little bit. She didn't want to turn her friend down or anything, but she was definitely not ready to tangle with anyone right now. Maybe it was time to start pulling out the excuse cards...

"Oh, nono, they said a week from now." She explains. "But I thought it could be fun, both of us working together. One of girls speaks some kind of weird language, but they both seemed pretty nice." She comments.

Oh, whew! Dodged a bullet on that one...

"A tag match, huh?" It was nice that Vanessa was getting another chance to step into the ring so soon after the last one she had, but was she really ready for it? She was thinking that it would be nice to tag with her new friend. She went back and forth on the idea in her mind for a bit, then focused on the other thing that Hayley mentioned.

"Weird language? I wonder what that could be?" If Hayley didn't understand it, then it probably wasn't English. Maybe it was French, or Spanish? Maybe Japanese? I could also be Italian... She hoped it was one of those, as those five were the languages she was fluent in.

"Well, I guess I wouldn't particularly mind doing a match with you. If the other girls seemed nice, then it should make for a good match." That was probably the closest thing to an answer that Vanessa could give right now. She really needed to meet these girls first if she wanted to be sure, but that might be out of the question at this point.

"Great!!" Hayley clapped her hands together. "Because I already agreed and said we would. I'm super glad you wanna do this with me though! We'll be unstoppable!" She declared.

"Okay... that's enough about that. Now lets start working on your endurance, okay, Vanny? We'll need every bit we can gain from you. And hopefully you can show me a couple of sweet moves in return!" She began listing out what the day would be like between them.

She already accepted?! Jeez... what would you have done if I said no, Hen-Hen?

Oh well, it worked out anyway. With a sigh, she followed her friend back inside the gym. She was planning to take it a little easier today and build her self up, but that was looking like not much of an option at this point. Either way, she had a long day ahead of her, so it was time to kick things in gear and prepare for that tag match!
