Reiko brought her hands back to position, waiting for Alice's next kick. She expected another high kick, but-

"Guh!" She staggered back, keeping her hands up in case of a follow-up. A blow to the gut. Not what she expected, and it hit harder than she was ready for, but it didn't knock her down. "Okay... that was pretty good." She admitted, straightening herself up. She took a breath, then charged forward, reaching out to grab Alice's arm and pull her to her knees while twisting her arm.

Alice smiles smugly as her attack connects this time. "Told you I would get you." Her smile soon fades however, as sparring partner is still up on her feet. Alice readies herself to defend an attack from her opponent. Reiko charges and Alice expected a strike attack, but instead Reiko grabs her arm. Alice is pulled down on her knees. Alice growls softly as her arm is twisted. It was pretty painful, but Alice can take it. She clumsly reaches around with her free arm, trying to grab whatever she can of Reiko.

Reiko smirked, pulling Alice's arm behind her back for a hold. The small growls weren't much of a reaction, but it was clear she was in pain. And Alice was rather tough to endure it while trying to grab at Reiko too. A bit of her gi was snatched up, but wasn't much to make her release the hold. "Heh, and now I got you~" Reiko let go after that, raising her arm for a hard chop to Alice's neck.

"Let me go!" Alice cries out and to her surprise Reiko lets her go. Alice had no time to get to her feet as Reiko sends a chop to her neck. The chop connects and the wind is knocked out of Alice. She drops to the mat grasping her neck and coughing. "Ack... Ack... You... Eeerrrg..." She soon recovers and Alice growls in frustration. Alice starts to raise to feet again.

Wow, that was a pretty good combo. I might try that in a real match. Seeing Alice desperate to catch her breath would make a hard-hitting followup easy. It'd be something to keep in mind for the future. "Told you I was ruthless," She said, giving Alice a teasing smirk. "I like that angry look in your eyes McDowell-san. Going to get some payback now?"

Alice stands up and stares at Reiko with the anger in her eyes. ”I can pretty ruthless as well!” Alice is inexperienced but she has few powerful attack she can try out. Once Alice collects herself she goes on to the attack. Alice runs at Reiko. She jumps up and tries to get her hand around Reiko’s neck to Swingblade Rieko to the ground.

Alice definitely got her payback. Reiko was ready for a punch or kick, but seeing Alice throw her arm out had her pause. A lariat she wasn't expecting, even less was she expecting to be spun around and slammed to the ground like that. "Aah!" The impact left Reiko dazed and hunched over on the ground, gasping for breath as she slowly recovered from the hit.
