Lauren was running herself and her top speed was hardly anything to brag about. She was never very fast and at her size no one was surprised. She kept going as best she could, slowing down as she continued. She ran but after a while she was visibly slower. She kept going and noticed Lev having an easier time than her. Maybe he had been in a ring before and was underselling his experience?
Lauren kept up until she was gassed and called for a stop. "All right..." She said taking deep breaths as she looked over at Lev. "Next we'll just grapple and work on hand placement, footwork, that type of thing." She said trying to recover.

Re: Tag Team Preparation
Lev was doing it wonderfully; there was almost no sign of fatigue, and he was building up excellent speed as he went. He was doing it much better than Lauren, who, due to her build and fighting style, wasn’t going to excel in an area like speed the way she did in strength or technique. Lev kept doing it for a while until his partner told him to stop. He did so immediately when he saw that she looked exhausted from running
He asked her to practice footwork, hand placement, and other technical movements like that. This made him happy, as he was talking about what the White Bishop loved most about wrestling besides storytelling. “Got it, Miss? Do you want us to practice holds like a ‘face lock’ or a choke like the ‘Guillotine,’ or if you want a transition hold like the ‘Electric Chair,’ or we could…” The epitome of elegance paused when she noticed how excited he’d become. “…I’m sorry, I just get really excited about these things,” he said in a softer, somewhat shy tone.

Re: Tag Team Preparation
Lauren just shook her head. "Electric chair drop? Like... why would you just immediately go full contact when grappling is about positioning and footwork?" Lauren asked looking over at him. "I was going to focus on that, why do I get the feeling you know more about what you are doing than you let on?" Lauren asked. "Can you tell me what is really going on?" She was curious about this one.
She was now thinking he was just trying to get some inside track on them. He would have watched match tape or something along those lines though. She was indeed wondering what his motivation was today.

Re: Tag Team Preparation
Lev raised an eyebrow when Lauren asked him about the "electric chair" move, until he realized what had happened. “Oh, I’m sorry, I should have clarified. I was referring to the move used in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and grappling. It’s my fault for not making it clear that I meant that, and not the ‘electric chair drop’,” Lev said, somewhat embarrassed by that.
Then the Amazon asked if he knew more about wrestling than he let on. “Yes, miss, the thing is, I’m also a wrestler like you. I’ve wrestled in promotions such as MWL; I specialise in submissions, and just a few months ago I made my debut in the organisation against Miss Makhisima,” he said in a more serious and formal tone.
“I know I don’t look like the other blue-bloods you’re surely used to seeing in this league, but my intentions are simply to train with you and get to know you before our future tag-team match,” he continued, keeping his tone straightforward but feeling a bit uncomfortable saying that.
