It was certainly not his intention to make a scene. His intentions were pure but sometimes things just do not work in ones favour. His efforts to try and help backfired and his nosiness cost him. Now, he had to defend his honor and pride as a wrestler against a fellow competitor. Sure, Daichi was friendly and green but he could not appear weak or timid, at least not in this industry. With everyone watching, he could not simply let Nerissa bully or overpower him like that. The back and forth eventually ended up in a stalemate. He was not prepared to get overly physical against her but at the same time he wanted her to let him go.

Nerissa held on and before a full fight broke out, he accepted the challenge and soon she released him. He stayed silent, there was nothing to talk about even as she gave him a backhanded compliment. He stood still, glaring at his future opponent before she suddenly went for a spinning heel kick but one that past him and smacked against the punching back just behind him and to the side. He remained still, had a stoic look on his face. He was not going to be intimidated anymore.

All eyes were on the pair now. "Yeah, see you in the ring...." he said before turning his back to her and storming back to the locker room.
