The beauty's training session!

The adorable smile on Yozakura’s face was ever increasing, as her teacher matched and encouraged the unique beauty's enthusiasm. Yozakura really was lucky to have Drasna in her life. "Oh! Sorry, I sorta zoned out there. Heehee. But yeah let's get started! I don't want to waste your time by not giving my all." Though, Kura wasn't quite as ditzy as some of her fellow shortstacks, that didn't stop her from acting like it. Still, the unique beauty was determined to do right by her teacher. "Last time I mostly asked to do certain things since it was our first time training, but this time I'd like you to choose, Drasna. Give me whatever you've got!" While she was somewhat trying to mimic Hana, Kura genuinely wanted to give it her all for Drasna.

It seemed that Yozakura was a bit distracted today but Drasna had more than enough patience for that and would give the girl time to respond which she soon did so and the answer was more than positive. "Excellent lets get to it then." Drasna said with a roll of her neck before backing up to one side of the ring with a smirk. "Lets have ourselves a small spar dear. Smothers as the only way to win. I'd like to see just how much you've improved since last time." Drasna said with a small nod to the shortstack before raising her arms up and circling her once Kura was ready.

At Yozakura’s suggestion that Drasna decide the terms of her training, the Drakon responded well, and picked something that would play to both their strengths. A smothers only spar. This may benefit Drasna more than the unique beauty, but Yozakura recognised that if she won it would show some major progress. With that in mind, Yozakura steeled her heart and prepared herself to defeat her mentor for the first time, in spite of the difference in size, skill and experience. Like Hana before her, Yozakura would close the gap.

"Alright! Get ready to see the new and improved Yozakura, that kicked Niko's butt!" The unique beauty declared, full of pride and confidence. Drasna would see just how strong the shortstack could be. Inching closer to the Drakon, Yozakura started with something a little out of the ordinary for her, a leg kick! Hoping to place Drasna's attention elsewhere for a brief moment, the blunette would then close in and do her usual boxing.

Making her decision on how to do the spar between them Drasna would smile seeing the confidence of her student and nodded in response to what the girl said, loving the confidence she was showing. "Good I'm looking forward to seeing just what she can do." Drasna said, watching as Kura surged forward and rather surprisingly started off with a kick!

Raising her leg up she would block the blow as best she could before her student began firing off her usual boxing style jabs. Parrying and knocking aside as many as she could Drasna would try and turn in before throwing herself forward to drive her shoulder Kura's chest to try and knock her off her feet and down to the mat with a body check!

The kick to start wasn't terribly effective, as the more experienced Drasna parried it despite the kick being unexpected. That didn't matter much, though, as Yozakura had plenty more in store! Beginning to fire off her usual jabs derived from her training with Nanami, nothing seemed out of the ordinary for Drasna, but once the older woman threw her shoulder out, things would change. Weaving around the shoulder bash, Yozakura hit a very powerful straight right to Drasna's side! "When we met, I was an in-boxer and my wrestling wasn't the best. You helped me a lot, but I had to have some more avenues of training to take on my rival after she'd been training too." Jumping forward, the unique beauty threw some more jabs before going for her teacher's leg to put the drakon on her back! "After meeting with my friend Hiyori's teacher, I upped my game in both. I'm an out-boxer and a better wrestler, now!"

Drasna wasn't planning on going too easy on Yozakura, throwing herself to use her full weight to knock the girl off balance. However she managed to duck out of the way and in doing so left Drasna open as her pupil began to unleash punch after punch at her! "Ugh! Agh! Ngh!" Grunting as she took the blows as best she could Drasna would listen to her protege speaking as she unleashed her barrage, and honestly Drasna couldn't help but be proud at the journey the girl had been on so far. Feeling her leg knocked out from under her though Drasna would hit the mat but still had a smile on her face. "Most impressive my student." Drasnsa said before pushing herself up and swinging her leg out to try and sweep Yozakura's legs out from under and knock her to the mat!

Having successfully floored the heavyweight, pride welled up within the unique beauty. If anyone was watching, it'd have been quite a sight to see such a small girl topple such a big woman! Even Drasna was impressed. It was a short journey so far, but Kura's progress was undeniable! As she received a compliment from her mentor, Yozakura let a smile come to her face, momentarily leaving her open for a leg sweep. Trying to crawl away and create some distance, Kura knew it'd be pretty easy for the bigger and far more experienced woman to pin her down if she was on the ground. "Thanks. Hopefully I have more that impresses you then. It's been short, but I have learned some things for sure!"

Drasna was able to fairly easily pay Yozakura back for the knockdown that she had gotten on her with a leg sweep. Despite that though Drasna didn't try very hard to capitalize on it, rather she just wanted to remind Kura not to get too confident. Smirking at the girl as she herself got up Drasna would nod as she put her hands up.

"I hope the same, but remember you can always learn more." Drasna said before moving in to seemingly grapple with Yozakura, knowing the girl would expect her to try and overpower her.

Instead though Drasna would try and do a quick side step around Kura to get behind her, playing a more tricky game as she tried to grab the girl and lift her up before slamming her down to the mat for a quick taken down of her own! One that if successful she would try and follow up by jumping up and extending her leg out to try and land a leg drop on the girl!

Having been given the time to slip away, Yozakura scrambled to her feet, creating distance between herself and her titan of a teacher! Yozakura knew she couldn't tackle Drasna head on. The older woman was clearly going harder than last time, even if she was still holding back. Despite that, though, the Drakon still offered Kura valuable advice. "I'll keep that in mind. I'm sure there's still lots you can teach me!"

Standing and awaiting Drasna's next move, Yozakura stepped back as it seemed a lock up was coming her way. Even when she was more inexperienced, the unique beauty would have been uniquely stupid to believe she could win a competition of grappling against a goliath like her teacher! However, the more experienced wrestler seemed to be counting on that, actually getting behind Yozakura and slamming her into the canvas. It hurt a little, but Kura didn't linger on that, swiftly avoiding the Drakon's leg drop!

Having observed Hana sparring with their teacher, Yozakura knew speed was a valuable asset against a bigger and stronger foe. While, Kura wasn't quite as fast as Hana, she knew that her size would make her tough to pick down. Something like that may not have been useful in a match against one of her many rivals, but Yozakura knew it was time to grow fully as a wrestler. Otherwise, she was just wasting her teacher's time.

Yozakura was definitely impressing Drasna with her progress so far but this spar was still far from over and the older woman knew that there was even more the girl could impress her with, especially her attitude with how the girl responded to what she said. "And I look forward to teaching it." Drasna said once again impressed as she looked up to see Kura having rolled away to avoid her leg drop attempt following the throw. Pushing herself up back to a standing position Drasna wouldn't give her protege any time to breath, reaching forward to grab Kura again and pull her forward into a side headlock!
