Noelle lowered her gaze in understanding as Teuila stated her biggest problems to be her emotions. "Emotions are a powerful double-edged sword, she said. "On one hand, you need them to dig down to the deepest parts of who you are to find your greatest strength when you need it most. On the other, they can so easily turn one into a mindless beast with nothing but a sloppy strength,"

"They're a difficult beast to tame as well," Noelle continued. "Every person is different, every person's emotions are different, there simply is no one true solution that I could give you. The advice I can give, is that to control your emotions in a fight, the emotion that you need to focus on is anger."

"You see, if emotions are getting riled up in a fight, some amount of anger is almost certainly going to be among them," said Noelle. "If you can get a grip on that, other emotions surrounding it should become simpler. Not that this will necessarily be a solution for you, but what I do is remind myself that I won't be able to vent or direct my anger onto my opponent if I lose my focus and technique to it."

Teuila nodded softly at Noelle's response as she spoke, offering advice to her about what to do with the weakness she perceived in her last few matches. It was solid advice to be sure. Being more aware of the role her emotions played in matches, and trying to control them more. Specifically with anger given the sheer intensity with which it could be felt, and how many more emotions that could influence her in a match stemmed from it. It was definitely something Teuila would have to be sure to work on.

Taking another bite of food Teuila would swallow before focusing back on Noelle. "Yeah.. I like that way of looking at it. Focusing on the anger and using it, instead of it using me..." Teuila said breaking down what had been explained to her before looking up at Noelle with a small smirk growing on her face.

"Who knows... could be the difference maker that I need to finally beat you." Teuila said with a slight teasing tone, no real animosity in her voice like before. Instead it was more intended as friendly banter, showing genuine excitement for a rematch, rather than frustration and resentment like when she approached the woman in the gym.

"Well, it's a good first step," Noelle said when Teuila said that controlling her emotions might allow her to defeat the Spaniard, responding with the same teasing tone that the rookie had used. "Then maybe your submission escapes, your technique from a neutral position, I suppose strength as well from how easily I handled you." Noelle leaned back with a smirk as she ate another piece of her meal. "You're definitely more than a quick fix or two away from my level, but I also trust that you'll get there. Then it'll be making it to wherever I've reached by the time you get to where I am now."

"That's the biggest thing about improvement; it never ends. Not really," said Noelle. "Surpass me? Nice job, now go beyond the next person who I was chasing. Become the best? Well you still better keep going if you want to stay like that. Somebody else is closing the gap, so you need to be trying to widen it." The princess looked to the ceiling, wistfulness on her face. "Even the pinnacle is just another point. The only true end is retirement, whether because your body can't fight anymore or your heart stops being in it. But I'm sure we both got plenty of time before that happens, right Teuila?"

Sure enough Noelle responded to Teuila's playful jab in kind, not that the Samoan girl minded. In fact she felt the more friendly natured ribbing a lot more refreshing than when things were at their most tense between them. "Hey the submission stuff I get but my power game is solid! I was just mad and unfocused." Teuila said in defense of herself, but again by her tone and playful sticking out of her tongue it was clear she was mostly just being humorous, albeit with a little seriousness mixed in.

Regardless she would shut up and listen to Noelle as she talked about improvement and... honestly she chuckled a little. "You remind me of Ms.Ashford, which, big compliment by the way. But you're like.. teaching voices are kinda similar, and she's talked about improving in a similar way as well... Just with a bit moreeeee heelish hehe." Teuila said with a chuckle before smiling at Noelle as one thing about her speech stuck out to her.

Placing her utensils down she'd look the silver haired woman in the eyes and give a bashful chuckle. "Honestly though? I did do my research on you as well. Match wise at least like I said, and I'd be more than happy to be on your level. Like, I kinda think you're selling yourself short if nothing else. over ten matches and only one loss and one draw? That's like... crazy impressive honestly." Teuila said, giving some flowers to Noelle for her skill as well, almost sounding like she was a fan for a second in the process.

"Dana Ashford? No offense to her but I'm too young to be sounding motherly already," Noelle said with a laugh. She reached down for another bite of food while still looking up at Teuila, until she realized that she hit plate instead of meat. Looking down, Noelle realized that her plate was only a few bites from being empty.

"Guess we have been here awhile," said the princess as she looked out the window, the sun just beginning to noticeably set. "But seriously, I appreciate the compliment, Teuila. Ashford has raised up more than a few good wrestlers in her time, so I'm sure you'll come out just fine with her teaching you how to fight.

"Goddamn Hagiwara..." Noelle grumbled when Teuila brought up her record. "I got her back though! Her outfit is still hanging in a frame in my trophy room. Come to think of it, I won the rematch with the guy who drew me too," the Spaniard said as a wry smile appeared on her face. "I've had his clothes over at my place too, but not for the same reason as Hagiwara's, haha." Before long, a waiter had come over with the check, and Noelle quickly paid it. "Today was fun," she said. "Moreso than either of us were expecting, I'd wager."

Teuila chuckled softly as she heard Noelle's response to her comparison before shaking her head. "Hey now, you should see it as a major compliment." Teuila said before getting confirmation of as much with Noelle's response, as well as a compliment in kind from the silver haired woman. "Hehe, appreciate it, especially coming from you." She said before leaning back and nodding and chuckling at Noelle's response, her distaste for Sakura Hagiwara being very clear, as was her cheeky response about the other cause of a blemish on her record, not that Teuila wasn't privy to it. As the check came the Samoan girl would nod along with Noelle. "Yeah, I'd say so, I wouldn't even mind doing it again sometime in fact." Teuila said with a smile as she finished off the last of her food while Noelle paid, more than content with how today had gone, even if it wasn't exactly to plan.
