The Young Lioness Dojo was a facility built with the purpose of giving the new prospects of LAW a place to train and sharpen their skills. But it wasn't exclusively for members of the Young Lioness program. It was open to any wrestler who wanted to learn new techniques, and that was the precise purpose it would be serving one Saturday morning.
Airani Dwi Melati Sukma had one of the most convoluted names Skylar Jones had ever heard, but that wasn't what had drawn the Brawling Puppet's attention. A few days ago, Aira had taken on Skylar's tag partner, Cecilia Lombard. She'd put on a gallant show, but in the end was beaten, though not without earning Skylar's respect. On Twitter, Sky had given Aira some words of encouragement, and after a friendly exchange, the two agreed to meet up at the dojo for Sky to give her a lesson.
The brunette now sang to herself, laying on a bench. It was seven in the morning, and the sun had only risen about an hour prior. The dojo obviously wasn't busy, as it was only Skylar and a few other early birds. As the brunette's voice hummed through the dojo, the other girls kept their distance from her, knowing of her reputation. But for a girl as mean and nasty as her, she had a voice more beautiful than anyone would expect... Spoiler

Aira is a student at heart, she always seeks wisdom and training where ever she goes. Not limiting herself to what was taught within Platinum Sky, she'll reach out to anyone that would love to learn together. After all, one wouldn't improve fast if they don't dare to reach out. After the match with Cecilia, Aira was reached out by her tag partner. Encouraging her to not be fully down and that she'd love to get in the ring with her. Aira herself was intrigued by Skylar as her friend, Yuzuha was feuding with her. Agreeing to a sparring practice in a saturday morning at the YL Dojo. She seemed pretty sure that she'll have a different and more pleasant experience with Skylar than what Yuzuha had.
Aira walked in the facility, carrying a backpack filled with change of clothes, towel, and bathing supplies. Humming a tune casually as she was already dressed for some training. Plain white tank top and black track pants. She glanced over to see Skylar laying on a bench. Smiling as she waved at her, she looked around, noticing the others keeping their distance from Skylar. She made sure that she didn't spot Cecilia before approaching Skylar.
"Heya, never thought you'd be up this early. But it's so nice to finally meeting you in person." Aira greeted as she set her bag besides the bench. "Well, I thought this'll be a silly question but I just have to ask. She's not here is she?" Aira continued, curiously asking about the presence of Cecilia. "At least... I sorta hope that it'll be just us and no one interrupting. Not Yuzuha, not Cecilia... No one else but us." She concluded, though she kept her smile and friendly outlook.
Skylar's song was interrupted by Aira's voice greeting her. The brunette would sit up, greeting the girl with a smile. "Feeling's mutual." She nodded, offering to shake Aira's hand. She snickered when she asked about Cecilia. "Nahhh, Cecilia's off kicking puppies." She joked. "Don't worry, it's just us." She said reassuringly. She understood that Cecilia was prolly the last person Aira wanted to see right now. What kinda stupid bitch would Sky be to bring her along to this? They weren't named Skylar Jones, that was for sure.
"Aight, let's warm up. Start with some push ups." Skylar instructed. If Aira followed, Sky would soon get down next to her, doing push ups as well. "How long've you been wrestling?" Sky would ask as she took a breath between reps. She wanted to get to know Aira.
It was a relief to Aira that there weren't any presence of Cecilia. It doesn't help that Yuzuha warned her that Skylar might try to rile Yuzuha up by ambushing her with Cecilia. But that worry was for nothing, Skylar reassured that it's just them and no one else is going to interrupt the training. "Ah good, least I know I worried for nothing about you trying to get back at Yuzuha." Aira let out in relief as she stretches her arm a bit. Getting herself ready to get this training going.
"Push ups? Sure." Aira nodded at the instruction before dropping down and assuming the position to do push ups. She then started doing push ups. Steadily going up and down and taking disciplined breathing between reps. While doing the push ups, Skylar popped up a question at her. It was good to chat while doing warmups together, getting to know each other and all.
"How long?" Aira confirmed the question as she goes down for a rep. "Well... Only counting LAW, I've only started this year." She stated as she breathed in and out between reps. "But, I started wrestling when I got in Nittaidai, got pulled into this by my college buddy Rena." She continued, explaining more of her start in wrestling. "I grew up with Karate back in Indonesia, got a dream scholarship here in Japan. At first I was considering to continue going for Karate but Rena pulled me into watching a live show of some small promotion stuffs like, in the very first week." She added on, spicing it up with a little bit of her martial arts history. "And well, I got impressed to go "Hey, I'll do wrestling here in Japan, seems like a good change of pace", joined the college wrestling club with Rena. Do some shows here and there, even our club did one or two collab shows together with the college where the current LAW Lightweight champion Rose Gold started out... I'd also have to say that I keep myself and Rena wrestling a more straightforward wrestling matches rather than one with sexual nature in it before joining LAW."
Aira sighed out afterwards, stopping her push up and gets up on her knees. "So. Give or take up to now, I've been doing wrestling for 3 or 4 years since I got into Nittaidai. Also what surprised me was my debut here in LAW was against Rose Gold's mentor. Which coincidentally was also my first exposure to the more sexual side of wrestling." Aira crossed her arms and shivered a bit as she mentioned the last part, slightly disturbed about it. "Ah, sorry, I just--- yeah, my LAW debut just leave quite a sour unforgettable experience... Even though I won in my debut. But anyway! What about you? How do you start out in wrestling?" Aira smiled a bit to lighten up the mood and redirect the question back to Skylar.
