Three Pointers! - Erin and Blaise Revisited

The short answer: he doesn’t. It wasn’t deliberate. Certainly not intentional. He meant to support her in her endeavors to knock the ball loose. In fact, he’d levy the blame squarely on her for what ensues.

Blaise is a strapping lad, physically fit, athletic, and very used to getting people around. But he is isn’t a stationary, rigid object. Ben owe to heft Erin a little higher, and surely let’s her get her fingers on the ball - perhaps even enough to knock it off the backboard - but it all comes apart when she tries to hop. There’s a sudden, sharp weight increase on his hands, tilting him forward with a surprised yelp. He pitches back to try to compensate, and by now, Erin’s footing has gone all to Hell.

In the end, the security footage of the gym likely records the Irish gal landing squarely atop the half-naked baller, sprawling.

Erin's eyes widened as she realized her mistake. "Hey Bl...HAAAAH!!!!" The redhead squealed as she lost her balance and immediately toppled forward. For a moment everything went black as Erin fell and closed her eyes. She felt herself slam against Blaise who was luckily there to cushion her fall. "Nnnng...oww." The woman groaned as she slowly opened her eyes.

As soon as her senses returned to her the redhead pushed herself up slightly and blinked. A bit disheveled some of the redhead's hair was now hanging over Blaise's face which was a lot closer to hers than she was comfortable with. "Ahh! I...ummm...sorry!" Erin stammered, quickly pushing up into a sitting position, now straddling the teens stomach. It was a rare moment but Erin was at a loss for words. Her face briefly turned a light shade of red as she realized that. She'd linger on top of Blaise for a moment, the wheels in her head slowly turning as she searched for something to say. "You know...If you tell anyone my voice gets that high pitched, I'mma be coming for you." She explained.

Erin is not a ridiculously heavy girl. She's not chunky, she's not ripped to shreds, she's just Erin. But when the Irish lass falls on top of Blaise, he certainly feels it, thumping to the floor beneath her in a sprawl. He'd made efforts to catch her, at least, even when everything went to pot. The end result was lying face to face with the redhead, his arms loosely around her waist, and both dazed. His brain catches up with things a bit faster than Erin's, and he's forced to face the guilty realization that, while he has no idea how to behave with her, she's still attractive.

When her head lifts to look down at him, she's met with a pair of blinking blue eyes amidst her own hanging hair. He shakes his head a little to try to clear his face a bit more. "You okay?," he asks. She suddenly sits up, and his arms slide from her waist to rest his hands at her hips. There's another blink as he processes her threat, and suddenly realizes she'd made a terribly girlie noise and that apparently is a mark of shame for her. She may not have struck him as a delicate flower, but feminine, he could still see. Tomboys are still girls, after all!

"I'mma tell everyone," he warns sagely with a squint. "Because you and I should have a rematch."

Once it became apparent that no harm was done Erin would try to revert back to her normal self. After a quick threat she pushed her stray hairs to the side and sat up. Perhaps straddling Blaise in the middle of the basketball court was an awkward position for the two but that wasn't really a thought that went through the redhead's mind. She was more concerned with what the teen under her was saying. She had expected Blaise to just go along with her but he had given her some unexpected sass.

"I swear to god Blaise!" Erin whined, a rare frown briefly forming on her face. "We're gonna have a rematch and I'm gonna kick your ass SO bad! You're gonna end up just like this in seconds. " She declared. It wasn't long before she cooled back down. Finally the redhead decided to just give it a rest. She'd take Blaise's hands off of her hips first and then push herself up. "Alright, c'mon now." Erin said as she grabbed Blaise's hand and began to pull him up to his feet with her. "I owe ya a lunch after all, right?" She said with a smile.

"That's what they all say," sighs Blaise, continuing to needle at her. Or trying to, anyway. Nevermind how everyone seems to be onto something, given his horribly bad track record. "You'll just have to prove it." Despite how it went last time, he'd love another crack and cramming her feet in her mouth!

His hands are removed from her hips, then taken again, leading to a bemusedly confused Blaise who finds himself pulled up to his feet in short order. "You do?" Blink. "You do, of course you do." He clears his throat, and in the process, remembers what he's wearing. Not exactly a fashion-forward choice when it comes to dining. "I should probably change first, though."

He pulls back from her to start for the exit of the gym. While walking backwards, he says, "Meet you up front, yeah?" With a half-spin, he continues on his way to the door. He has no idea what lunch with Erin would be like. She's hard enough trying to get a read on normally. But a significant part of him is too curious to make an excuse to bail, and free food isn't something Mr. Cameron is known to pass on. So this will be an... experience.
