Bad Times at the Gym (For Gil)

Smirking at hearing Gil admit that she not there yet. Only then does Thereisa get's off the smaller woman and chuckles after seeing her partner kicking her feet to get free. Reaching down and helping her get to her feet and patting the her on the back.

'Not bad but there a time to be cocky and another to be smart." telling her a warning about being overconfident. But seeing the attitude that Gil has been showing just maybe she could do it. But first she wants to see if she would accept the offer or not, either way she going to get that cockiness out of Gil.

"If you think your so close to me... Prove it by taking on two wrestlers at once."

"It's not cockiness, it's confidence...!" Gil smirked, pointing her thumb at herself. "...I'm confident because I know that I can take on anyone and be okay, not because I think I'm better than anyone...!" Gil chuckled. Her confidence didn't come from a place of believing she was better than others, but rather that she believed that she was just as good as anyone else...!

She opened her mouth, ready to go on a tangent, but instead, she would stop in her tracks, interested in the proposal that Widow had made for her. "...I mean, you're plenty strong Miss Thereisa, but I don't think you can call yourself "two wrestlers"...!" She chuckled again.

She was sure that wasn't what she meant, but it was more likely than getting Liger back in here, especially after their earlier exchange... Not to mention, Widow didn't seem like the type to make friends all that easy, most people seemed afraid of her, after all...

After hearing Gil talk about her confidence she can't help but see more of herself in the smaller woman. If only Gil was able to get a growth spurt but sadly she is tiny compared to her. But seeing that she is interested in the idea of a handicap match she wants to see if Gil confidence or if it being reckless.

"Well what I mean wrestlers is you taking on two wrestlers that I know by chance. Since I see both of them in the gym together when I'm training." arms crossed looking down at her partner waiting to see what the small woman would do or say next. "If you think can take on anyone then I set a match up and I even be in your corner for the match how does that sound.?

A handicap match? Gil was interested in the idea, she's thought over it before, so her response didn't even come with much thought. "...Of course! I can take on anyone, I accept...!" Gil puffed her chest out with pride. She knew it would be a challenge, her record in one-on-ones was already less than favorable, but she knew she could make it work, she had gotten better during her training with Widow, and the Swat KATS, and the Booty Princesses, and any other mentor she had picked up along the way...!

"You'll be in my corner, huh? As long as you let me fight on my own, I agree!" Gil was ready to prove herself to Widow, ready to let her know her training was going to show some serious results. Her style was unchanged, unfazed as a whole, but she picked up tricks that would certainly help her, and above all else, she built her endurance as she planned, with a little help from three cats she knew...!

"That fine then... But I will be watching and if you lose then your going to see that my way was right instead of yours." she says in a blunt tone of voice. She knows the two women that she going to pick for said handicap match, maybe someone who is easy to beat like that woman who beat Gil the first time but cheated due to her friend helping her out. "Since you think so then let's cut this short and make sure that your ready then. It will be a tough match but I think you prove your worth in the ring."

Ruffling Gil head with her hand and thinks over what she going to wear to show support to the younger woman. "Come on let's go since I brought your favorite last time this time your treating me to my favorite... a evil smug look on her face. "Your buying dumplings tonight.."


Unknown to both of them Serilda did hang around and hearing the bet made between the two women has her own idea. "If that the game you all wanna play then fine... I make sure that Gil has two opponents for that handicap match..." letting out a laugh while pulling her phone out and making a few calls.

"...That's so not fair, two against one is no way to test this...!" Gil fussed as both women slid out of the ring. At this point, it was almost like Thereisa treated Gil less like just a student, and more like one of her own, maybe that was what got under Liger's skin so bad about it...

"You got it, Miss Widow, dumplings it is...!" Gil through her bag over her shoulder and hopped onto Thereisa's back without warning. "Let's go, my trusty stead...! To the... Dumplings restaurant...!" Gil chuckled, her legs wrapped around Widow as they left the gym. This match was going to be a test, that much was certain, but Gil was eager for the challenge, she couldn't and wouldn't, show any fear, she was ready to kick some butt, not matter who it may be...!
