The moment he utter the word three Finlay had taken the bar and started doing reps pumping the bar up again and again witb no trouble at first. Every so often he glanced across at Amy to see how she was doing with her reps and from what he could tell they were keeping pce with one another, but as they passed the tenth rep however he knew things would soon start to tilt one way or another. Sweat was forming on his brow and muscles, his breath hitched and he was wavering ever so slightly with his reps. But even in spite of this he grit his teeth and kept performing reps, pushing the exertion and soreness he was feeling to the back of his mind, refusing to focus on it and instead just forcing himself to do more as he soon passed the 15 rep mark.
