It had been an exciting month for Ryu 'The Dragon' Hiroshi who had just left his previous promotion just last month to broaden his horizons and join LAW as a part to get out of his comfort zone and test his wrestling ability against wrestlers of all genders coming from all across the globe. Ryu had heard tremendous praise about LAW and its wrestlers and wanted to test himself against the best of the best. While he was mostly accustomed to traditional Japanese male versus male wrestler he was not shy to try out different types of matches against men or women. He figured if he were to improve his overall wrestling ability he should be open to all sorts of wrestling matches. That was the main reason why he chose to join LAW, to test himself on the oncoming challenges that LAW had to offer. Once he would overcome those then he would set his sights on becoming one of the best wrestlers that LAW had to offer.

Today, it was more about exploring the LAW facility and perhaps go the gym to work-out, meet with the staff and perhaps even his peers to find a friend or foe? Backstage in his locker room, The Dragon was getting ready to change before going out to the backstage area which lead to the gym. After taking a nice relaxing shower, The Dragon would slip into his blue wrestling briefs with fingerless gloves and black boots. Before he was ready to leave he would do some meditation exercises to clam himself down before heading out the door.

While Ryu was making his way through the backstage area his eyes came across a locker room door with the name plaque of "Irelia Xu". Immediately, he would recognize that name and would stop at the door with said plaque. He would carefully inspect the name on the plaque. "Irelia.....Xu? No, that can't be." he said to himself in a low tone. That name was very familiar, in fact he would remember it all too well.

It was easy to pick new LAW recruits out from the small crowds at most LAW facilities. Just like you could in any area you normally frequent, spotting someone who's still getting familiar with the area was not a difficult task. Most new LAW signees would be poking around trying to figure out where the usual points of interest are. The medbay, the lockers, the monitors, the guerilla, and so on. Any newly signed wrestlers that didn't struggle with this likely would have been a big name that had others show them around, making it even easier. For many, succeeding in LAW was just about the pinnacle of the business. Getting the chance the prove yourself here was an accomplishment in and of itself. Given the nature of LAW and the stiff competition there, picking up wins and building momentum in The League was enough to put any wrestler on the map. And one such rising star that was doing just that and building credibility towards title contention and stardom was Irelia Xu.

Irelia Xu

"In the flesh, Ryu." Irelia would say, tapping The Dragon's shoulder from behind. She wore her usual wrestling attire, a flattering red bikini. Her toned, model-esque frame glistened with residual moisture. It seemed that she recently indulged in a shower of her own.

"I thought I heard your voice. I could hardly believe it. My old "acquaintance" Ryu Hiroshi. Finally made it to LAW, have you?" She'd say, stepping forwards to place a hand on the plaque.

"As you can see, I'm climbing the ladder here. I'm doing quite well. I'm winning most of my matches, squaring off with top stars. Still think you can tango with me?" Xu would say, crossing her arms under her bust confidently as she turned towards Ryu. The two of them shared history in a previous promotion. The rivalry between them always brewing, yet for one reason or another, never settled. But now that the two of them were once again in the same wrestling company, there was no time like the present to put the issue to bed. Between Irelia and Ryu, which of them was the better wrestler?

While the male wrestler continued to daze on the plaque with the name "Irelia Xu" he was reminded of his old wrestling league, all the memories he had associated with them. He had spent a lot of time there and just by remembering a familiar face, he took a trip down memory lane. Of course those memories did involve Irelia Xu as well. Ryu by no means had beef with her, he did not dislike her either. The male wrestler and her did have some disagreements however, mostly which involved who was the better wrestler. Irelia always did try to push his buttons but always in good, playful nature. Ryu and her always wanted to find the answer to the question of who was better but due to their previous promotion not allowing intergender wrestling, their arguments were never settled in a wrestling match. Could that change after both of them were now on LAW?

Drowned in those thoughts, suddenly he heard an all too familiar voice and it was none other than Irelia. He tried to contain his excitement, only offering her a smile. "Well, isn't this a surprise! I can't believe it either" he said watching her touch her name plate on the door. She certainly was a fitness freak, she looked in the best shape of her life. "I have yes, although it appears you have beat me to it haha" he joked.

However, Irelia was quick to bring out her own success and once again was quick to bring up that old argument between the two. "Of course you're a really good wrestler so I am not surprised you are doing well for yourself. As for me hanging with you in a wrestling match, I can not only hang in but I know I can beat you, even though you're one of the best I am just better" he said.

Irelia was now turned towards him with her arms crossed under her chest, she had a determined look as did he. "This is perfect. We have waited for years to find this out and now we finally have the chance to do that. Although, I don't think one fall would be fair for either of us." he said. Ryu would take a deep breath, stepping forward until he was inches away from her.

"Irelia Xu. I can't wait any longer for this. For years we have argued but now its time to put it into action. You and me, all the submission moves we can pull off in a sixty minutes Ironman match in the heated sauna wrestling room. No crowd, no referee, no distractions." he proposed, throwing the challenge outright to her.

Ryu had always been the honorable sort. In truth, Irelia had taken a liking to him in their old days as rivals competing across various promotions and wrestling circuits. They celebrated each other's successes and trained together. Of course, Irelia and Hiroshi had often engaged in banter and teasing over which of them was the better wrestler, but the time for a proper singles contest between the two of them, one that would go down in the record books, it never came to pass. At least, not until now.

Irelia's gaze never left the man's. She now had her eyes locked on his. The two of them were within inches of one another.

"You know, that's one thing I've always appreciated about you, Ryu. You're always so honest and right to the point." She said as she raised a hand to part some of her hair away from her face.

"You know exactly what you want. And I'm prepared to give it to you. Maybe I'll work up a good sweat tapping you out over and over again in the sauna. Just promise me you'll accept things the way they are after the match, yeah? If you lose, we lay this to rest until we next meet again in the ring. You admit that I'm the superior wrestler and I'll even end the match early for you and spare you some pain."

She paused a moment, allowing Ryu to respond before following up.

"Good, then we'll record the whole thing. I'll put in a request to LAW management. This match will be official. Now that we're in the same company, I don't expect you to be shy. You challenge me as many times as you and your manly pride demand. I'll be happy to tame the Dragon each and every time." Irelia would finish with a wink.

Despite Irelia's flirtish nature, her ability to light heartedly tease her opponents, she was still a woman who would respect a fellow wrestler provided she would receive the same respect in return. There was no doubt about her wrestling ability nor her physique, she had flawless physique and one of the best in LAW even rivalling the men. On top of that she was beautiful, a woman who had it all! Looks, figure and of course the ability to back it up. Ryu had no problem squaring up against her though. He would lay the challenge to her and she would respond confidently, ready to lock up with the male whom she wanted to wrestle for the longest time and the feeling was for sure mutual.

Ryu would let Irelia speak, letting her finish completely. "Always the confident one I see? That is something that I have always admired about you Irelia-san" he said in respect. "I promise you that whatever the outcome would be, I will accept it as long as you would promise me the same. Win or lose, it is clear that one of us will admit the other is a superior wrestler. We have been arguing about this for years but now it is finally time to settle it. I accept those conditions"

After he finished, Irelia would continue and explain that she would talk to management to make this official and that he was welcome to challenge her anytime he wanted. He would nod simply, letting her know that he was ready for anything she had for him.

"Yoi. Jā mata aimashō, Irelia-san [Good, I'll see you then Irelia-san" he said in Japanese before giving her shoulder a small tap and making his exit.
