L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Renee would walk into Jacob’s office after receiving a text from him to swing by his office. She would sit down in one of the chairs as she leaned forward.

“Hey babe. I got your text. What’s going on? Am I scheduled for another match or something?”

"So yeah babe, I got a call from Kaelyn's new manager, you have a handicap match coming up, Kaelyn brought some friends with her into your feud, the Shaw Twins, I saw them out in the hall with Kaelyn earlier." Jacob said with his feet up on the desk.

Renee would stop Jacob as she leaned back, waving both of her hands to motion him to stop.

“Wait wait wait, hold on. I need to know some things first.”

She would go back to leaning forward.

“First off, who’s her new manager. Second, why am I being in a handicap match against a tag team?”

"Some Jack, John, Jerry, I don't remember his name, probably some desperate talent scout or guy she slept with for all I know, I just know Kaelyn how pulled some strings to make it a handicap match, and she will probably be at ringside so think of it as a three versus one if your not careful, I tried saying no but this was booked before I could cancel it" Jacob said. "If you really want me to I can be at ring side with you babe" Jacob added.

Renee would shake her head.

“Nah nah babe. If Kaelyn is gonna be at ring side, I don’t want you to get hurt by her again.” She leaned back in the chair again. “If only I could find a partner to make it fair game?”

"Hmmm one second, I got an idea" Jacob got up and walked to his filing cabinet and pulled out a few folders. "Alexandria Holland, broke her opponents back during her debut, best I try to avoid that mess for now. Phoebe Greene, brand new to LAW, was on her high school wrestling team and wrestled around the world for two years, not perfect but I think she can work" Jacob said looking for her number in her phone and handing the file to Renee.

Renee looked at her file and smiled.

“Yep. She’s perfect. Same routes we took, both on the school wrestling team. Heck, maybe I even faced her once.” She put her file down. “Probably not but hey. I guess I found my partner then.”

"If you really want to get a look at your competition they should be somewhere in the hall" Jacob said getting up and giving Renee a kiss on the lips before sitting down and messaging Phoebe to tell her about the match.

Renee nod and would leave his office. As she walked down the hallway, she saw the Shaw Twins hanging out. Renee went to go scout until she bumped in Kaelyn.

“Oh hey Kaylen. I see you hired some lackeys since you can’t beat me on your own.”

"I remember differently from our first match bitch" Kaelyn said shoulder bumping Renee as she walked away.
