With Sachiko clenching her teeth as she stared back at Veronika, blaming the blonde for everything she'd gotten into in the last few hours, her body began to well up with nervous energy, causing her to tremor and shake. As Veronika pulled at her collar, she looked her in the eye with a fiery glare beneath a twitching lower lid. Everything else seemed to disappear, even the thought of what the man they'd been called to the office of wanted from her - there was no one else in the world who Sachiko cared more about right now than Veronika, and all of that attention was directed into a desire to strangle her. The two of them were ready to resume their brawl in the middle of the office, with no heed to the hot water it had landed them in, and they would well have done just that - were it not for Viktor entering the room.

The sight of the man immediately caught Veronika's attention, her face going pale as she stared blankly back at him. For her, who knew Viktor closely, his appearance could only mean something was about to go down. Sachiko had no such prior acquaintence with the manager, but his presence was all that was necessary to command her attention; she could feel something drop in the pit of her stomach as he came closer and laid a hand on her shoulder, and a chill ran down her spine. Sachiko being Sachiko, she was also left with the lingering thought to ask if he was single, but she couldn't even speak of that right now. If there was ever a time, this wasn't it.

She listened intently as he spoke, hanging on every word; she knew that whatever such a domineering man said could shape the course of her fate, and she would be remiss to ignore it. When she heard that he was a fan of her team, she grinned a little wider, looking back at Veronika with a snide look - but before she could react any further, he heard the rest of his proposition, and it was enough to make her jaw drop.

"W-Whaaat!?" Her? Working with Veronika? For six months? She didn't even know if she could bear her presence for six minutes, and now he expected them to work together? Not just that, though - he wanted them to love the fans, and to work at Veronika's side for them! Sachiko liked the attention she got from her loyal followers, sure, but she didn't think she could be paid enough to put on the act that she and Veronika were friends for them! The bile began to climb higher in her throat, her body quivering anxiously as she saw the contract laid in front of her. There was no way she could do this! She'd sooner lose her job than this - hell, it didn't matter if they did fire her; she'd break in anyway! If anything, that would just make her and her team even cooler when they proved they were too big for LAW to hold down!

"No, HELL no!" Sachiko shouted, scooting her chair away from the table as she crossed her arms and looked off. "No way in hell am I going to team up with Miss Stupid Bitchface over there! I'm done! Fire me all you want-!" But then, Viktor went on to make an offer to her that caused her to stop in her tracks. She went silent, and her eyes grew wider. One million yen. No, one million for each of them! That was more money than Sachiko had ever seen in her life; she felt like it was more money than any of them had seen - possibly combined! She had her pride, and she did look back at Veronika to give it some thought - but no matter how much she weighed her chances, in the end, the old adage was true: money talked. She had to rub her cheek as Viktor slapped her, but she still couldn't say no to a payday like that...

"...Fine," she said, letting out a long sigh as she leaned over the table and signed her name on the line. "Just don't expect me to like it, and that goes for both of you." Her eyebrow rose at the next thing Viktor said, too. "Wait, costumes? They better be cool, you hearin' me?"
