Maria Cacti

Maria would be in her locker room, setting up some kind of small filming studio. There, she would take out a duffel bag, open it, and pull out a large black metal beam from it. She then set up the small pegs below the bar before pulling it up to reveal a blue screen for recording. She then made herself look professional but also appealing to kids. She had a small notepad with notes written in Swedish on the little shelf of her locker. After that, she set up her little camera on the lower shelf of her locker before getting ready to press record. Once everything was set up, Maria would press play on the camera and she was now live to record. She then gets into character.

“Hi my little vegetables. Maria Cacti is here to teach you all about…” Maria waited a bit for the little drum wall she was gonna edit in before she did jazz hands to the invisible thing to her left “Sea Turtles” Maria then waited a few seconds for the edited in a “Ta Da” sound effect.

“Now Sea Turtles are reptiles who swim in the ocean. Can you guess what color sea turtles are? … That’s right! Green! Just like me. And sea turtles eat their greens as well. Greens such as…”

Maria would lift her hand up and moved it down in jolts as she stated what greens sea turtles ate.

“Algae… Seagrass… and Seaweed!”

Maria clapped as she then moved on to the song portion of the video.

“Now kids. Let’s sing more about sea turtles and the wonderful lives they have swimming in our beautiful ocean.”

Maria then did a little dance as she sang about Sea Turtles. Meanwhile, her locker room door was slightly ajar so anybody passing by could hear her recording her video for her fans all around the world. Hopefully, no one in their right mind would crash an innocent little recording session to entertain children, right?

Addison wasn't the kind of woman to deal with horseplay or anything untoward, she was the no nonsense type, and anybody who she felt was doing nonsense, no matter how innocent and unrelated to her was, would be punished. So as she waltzed through the locker roon corridor and heard soneone talking in a weird way inside one of them, her body stopped. She took a few steps backwards to the source of the noise and listened in briefly. It only took a few seconds for her to realise that whomever it was, was recording something, and they certainly werent talking about LAW, so they couldn't be anyone related to the telecommunications team.

And right she was, as when she replaced her ear with her eye, she saw a girl dressed in a cactus outfit with a recording setup. Addison's mind overflowed with a combination of rage and confusion, so she stepped up and gave the locker room door an almighty kick, nearly breaking it off its hinges. She then stormed into the room, tore the plug out of the socket and glared at the woman with pure fury in her eyes.

"And what the fuck are you doing, recording this in LAW? This place isn't for children, ya know" Addison growls, still wondering what she was doing. "Whatever the hell you were doing, you had better stop. This is not a playground or some kids TV recording studio. If that is your desire, then you chose entirely the wrong career choice." Addison then stepped forwards, grabbing the girl by the arm and yanking her to her feet, before bending down to go nose to nose with her. "Or, if you are actually a wrestler, then put that shit away and deal with your real job. I would be more than happy to crush your weenie body, you know" Addison mocked before throwing the smaller cactus girl back with her arm.

Maria would be midway through her sea turtle song when she was suddenly interrupted by Addison kicking open her locker room door. She yelped as she stopped her camera from recording as well as pausing the song. There, she saw Addison unplug something, probably the lamp that was already turned off. She then got aggressively questioned by Addison for recording her little show in her locker room. She then yelped when she was grabbed by her arm and pulled face to face to Addison, getting grilled more by the angry superstar in front of her. She then had a chance to speak once she was pushed down near her computer.

“Oh. I’m very sorry, Miss. I just needed to get this quick little video out for all my subscribers all around the world. This week is on sea turtles and I’ve been too busy with wrestling that I was getting behind schedule. YouTube is kinda my main job. Wrestling is just a side gig I do since I loved it as a kid. You got little siblings at home, right? Maybe they’ve heard of me?”

To most, Maria's reasoning would have made sense to them, and they would have been on their way. But Addison was not like most, as she hated children, and anything related to them, and due to this, Maria was top of her hitlist. She clenched her fist, really trying to resist the urge to ragdoll the woman around like a toy.

"So you think entertaining those little brats is more of a priority than entertaining the masses who watch these shows? And am I not right in saying that you get much less money in your main job?" Addison scowled. "I bet you have another reason. You joined LAW thinking that you would stand a chance, but you are now too much of a pussy to actually get in the ring. Admit it kid" She said, looking down on Maria, both literally and figuratively.

Maria would gasp by what Addison told her. She couldn’t believe what came out of the woman’s mouth. She called her audience a bunch of brats, which wasn’t very nice to say to children. Maria also had her limit of tolerating the amount of vulgar language that came from Addison’s mouth. And the straw that broke the camel’s back on not snapping at Addison was the fact that Addison discredited her job of being a Children’s YouTuber, telling her that wrestling pays more than her channel. However, this was surprisingly untrue as even though LAW paid her well, she was paid 1.5x more than that via her YouTube Ad Revenue.

“Okay lady. I had enough of you using that vulgar language against me as well as calling my lovely subscribers a bunch of brats. I challenge you to a match right now!”

Addison merely cackled at what Maria had to say. She walked up to her before bending down once more, their noses touching, before giving her a menacing grin, then giving her a brief headbutt.

"Pah, those brats are so special to you that you are foolish enough to fight for them, against ME of all people? You truly are reckless. But if that is what you wish, I will gladly crush you to a pulp in front of your precious viewers. You will rue the day you challenges the redback, you weird cosplayer!" Addison laughed to herself, before turning to leave the room.

Maria was startled when Addison got close to her. However, she stood her ground and did her best impression of steeled nerves. That was when she yelped again after receiving a brief headbutt to the noggin. She would be on her ass, rubbing her forehead, as she looked up at Addison accepting her match challenge. She then saw her leave her locker room, letting Maria talk to herself.

“Oh jeez. What did I get myself into? No matter. I’m gonna win this match for all of my subscribers at home. I’m gonna do it for them!”
