Selket vs Tina Kelly- Sarcophagus/POW Match

Sarcophagus/POW Stipulations: Victory to be awarded by putting the opponent in the sarcophagus at ringside and closing it with them inside. The winner will claim the loser as a POW for a specified amount of time after the match concludes.

Selket yawned softly as she lounged rather lazily on a box of props or equipment or something, she didn't really care. It was surprisingly comfortable and better than just standing around waiting in that filthy locker room of this American arena. "Tch this whole 'state' is filthy." Selket sneered out with a scrunch of her nose as she thought back to her stay in Florida so far with eventually her thoughts turning to the reason she was here in the first place.

Tina Kelly.

Selket had dealt with the girl thoroughly on her climb to face Astrid a year ago and it had been so bad that the woman seemed to drop off the face of the earth for a few months. But then she turned up once again a few weeks after Selket had lost her match against Astrid and since then Selket had been... watching with interest. Watching as Tina scored win after win, building experience and prestige in record time while Selket turned her focus to Apex.

However things took a turn at We Are LAW when Astrid lost to Rose Gold. It was a monumental shaking event that seemed to turn the company upside down, Astrid lost face, other heavyweights turned against her, critics were raving, and in the aftermath, Selke watched, evaluating, and waiting. All until Astrid, in a bid to rebuild her reputation began taking challenge after challenge against worthy opponent after opponent, first Dana Ashford, tonight against both Alaina Sanders and Kat Hart, but between those clashes was once against... you guessed it... Tina Kelly.

That had brought Selket to her actions mere weeks ago... interrupting the bout between the two at a pivotal moment laying both out, and in turn reminding them, and everyone else in LAW, just who the hell she was. Now that led to little Tina demanding a match against Selket, one the Egyptian was happy to give.. on her own terms. Hence the creation of this match practically tailor made for Selket.

Broken from her stupor Selket would turn to see a nervous crew member practically trembling before her, but all it took was a terse look to let him know to speak. "Y-your up." he said nervously, surprisingly causing Selket to grin softly as she swung herself off the crate and strutted past the man, gently caressing his cheek as she passed while making her way to the entrance ramp, her theme music airing out through the arena in perfect sync with Selket as she stepped out before them all!

Smirking in response to the surplus of boos she was receiving from them Selket ignored them all as she began strutting her way down the ramp with a sway to her hips, confidence practically dripping off her with each and every step she took. Classic outfit of hers shining under the arena lights the vitriol of the fans practically gave Selket strength as she strutted down the ramp until she made it to the ring. Hopping onto the apron Selket would drop down into a perfect split, earning a cheer of approval from the lusty fans in response as Selket elegantly slid under the ropes and got up to her feet, posing once more as she made her way to the corner, turning and leaning against it while waiting for Tina, the golden Sarcophagus that would be the crucible of this match standing in front of the ring and by extension Selket, creating a rather ominous and intimidating atmosphere for anyone, let alone the woman that would have to face her.

A few moments before Selket made her way to the ring, Tina Kelley, was sitting on the bench adjusting the last strap to her knee brace she wore as she then stood up, gripping the sleeves of the grey sweater tied around her waist as she tugged it more securely to her body as she took a nervous breath. She started to pace back and forth as she muttered to herself. "Damnit, I missed the fine print in the contract." She mentioned as she paced back and forth as good as she could on her sensitive knee. "If I lose this match, I become Selket's slave for a week." She mentioned as she was sharing the same locker room with none other than her idol, who definitely had her own match to focus on. She then stopped pacing as she looked over at Astrid. "I remember you mentioning you had some tips, any advice you can give would be wonderful." She mentioned as she tried to focus on breathing and keeping calm, not only was this an important match due to the slave stipulation, but this was also Tina's first match at a pay per view event and to her, this was, though not quite as important as her title match, nearly just as important as a win here would incredibly important.

Tina wasn't alone in the locker room. Astrid Ostberg, the Heavyweight Champion herself, was there too. Not only was Astrid a reigning champion, some had deemed her the face of LAW. She had more than enough clout to afford her own dressing room if she called for it. Given that her high profile placed a target on her back among some of LAW's less scrupulous wrestlers, she knew that being out here in the public lockers would be a risky proposition. But she needed to do it - Tina was going into a match where she needed the Norsewoman's guidance more than ever.

Astrid had faced both Selket and Tina in her career as champion. In those matches, she had seen into her opponents' minds and souls. She'd come to know who they were, and those impressions had forged lasting relationships with each. But the content of those relationships couldn't be further apart. In Tina, she had seen a dedicated woman working toward reaching Astrid's level, wanting to prove herself to the world; who had tried her best all in the name of making her idol proud. In Selket, she had seen a cruel, backstabbing, merciless heel who would stoop to no lows too low in the name of wresting an unearned victory from her opponents. Now, those two had collided. Selket had her eyes out to make Astrid's protege her next victim. And when Tina found herself caught in Selket's crosshairs, Astrid had no choice but to stand at her side.

She winced a little when she heard Tina relate the stipulations - but her brow furrowed with a grumble under her breath. Of course Selket was going to do this. A simple POW stipulation wasn't going to do it for her - she had to claim Tina for the entire week, just to rub it in all the more! Astrid thought she had seen the depths of Selket's depravity in her own match, but now, she knew she was only scratching the surface. It only made her opinions on her sink lower. Nevertheless, Tina had turned to her for guidance. Astrid needed to be there for her.

Luckily, Astrid had an in. She hadn't just faced Selket before, she had beaten her. She'd grown wise to her tactics, she had figured out how she could deal with them and respond to them, and she had proven that for all of the Egyptian's theatrics and posturing, she could be defeated. Rising from her bench, the Norsewoman stepped forward, placing a hand on Tina's shoulder.

"Here's the thing about Selket," she said. "She's going to try to trick you. She wants to mess with your mind - to make you question what's real and what's not, to leave you guessing about what'll happen next, and to make sure you don't feel safe. But she does this because she knows she can't beat you in a straight fight. Beneath it all, she's nothing more than a coward - a real champion wouldn't need to hide behind parlor tricks like these. It's not going to be easy, I know that, but as long as you keep at it and don't back down no matter how much she tries to make you, to show her that it won't work...then you'll be fine."

She nodded to her, patting Tina's shoulder again as she leaned closer with a wink. "And I should know from experience that you've got what it takes."

The last thing Astrid said brought a smile to Tina's lips. It was a high honor to receive praise from her idol and she raised her forearm to bump into Astrid's. "Thank you for the advise. Good luck with your match. If I'm in the condition too, I will be watching you kick some ass." She mentioned as she would then give Astrid a clasp on the shoulder as she would walk past her to leave the locker room. She then began her march to the curtain as she took a deep breath. Astrid's advise confirmed her plans for the match and Tina also had her own ace up her sleeve. When she arrived at the curtain she could hear Selket's music fade and her music started to come in as she could hear the explosion of cheers that brought a smile to her face before she even went through the curtain.

Entrance Music:

The fans were first, Tina's revenge was second on her mind. As she stepped out from the curtain she threw her arms out to the sides as she strutted her way towards the center of the ramp before closing her eyes and looking up to the air with a smile as she basked in the energy of her fans as two high powered fans off to her side blew some blue heart shaped glitter out to rain down towards the crowd. She then made her way down the ramp alternating sides to high five, hug, and participate in selfies with the crowd, all the while two giant inflatable tubeman were waving and bouncing to the rhythm of the music. It wasn't until Tina noticed the sarcophagus in front of her that her interaction with the fans disappeared and she started to get serious. She slowly approached it as she stared at it until she got around to the side of it. She looked uneasy about it, but that changed when she suddenly gritted her teeth and slapped the top of the sarcophagus with both hands before letting out a battle cry "Selket belongs in here tonight! Let's do this!" before she hopped up onto edge of the ring and entered in between the ropes as she kept her eyes on Selket as she walked over to her corner as she rotated her shoulders, looking all business as it kept great restraint to keep from charging at her opponent before the bell rang as she bent over cupping one knee with one hand and her knee-brace covered knee with the other hand as she swayed from side to side to stretch her legs.

As Tina's entrance music started playing over the speakers, she would hear a very familiar voice coming from the commentary booth just outside the ring.

"The following match is scheduled for a very special Sarcophagus POW match! Coming in at six feet tall and weighing one hundred and eighty-five pounds... hailing from America... give it up for the fabulous, the stunning, the lovely TINAAAAA KELLYYYY!!!"

Wearing his more casual gym clothes, Tina would spot one of her students from the young lions program- Oscar Orelash. He was wearing his gym clothes and a headset over his head, keeping his arms folded on the announcer's table as the two other announcers sat with him.

"Ha ha! I've always wanted to do that! Thanks for having me here today, Gunther! You too, August"

Oscar would shake hands with both announcers before giving Tina a quick wave along with a supportive nod of his head. True to his word, Oscar indeed was here to support his teacher in perhaps one of the most high-stakes matches he had ever seen her in. The Barbarian Prince would absolutely do his best to hide any anxieties he held about this match out of fear of it affecting Tina, only showing smiles and confidence as Tina climbed into the ring.

Leaning against the corner leisurely Selket would watch as Tina's little hype man Oscar came out to announce Tina's entrance and join the commentary team. 'Thats annoying.' The Egyptian woman thought to herself, knowing that the red head would surely try to interfere in the match when she started to get brutal, so it would be an extra thing for her to keep an eye out for as Tina finally began to make her way down to the ring.

Turning her attention back to focus on said blue haired woman a small smirk would end up crossing Selket's face as she spotted the more serious expression on Tina, as well as the knee brace currently around her leg. Courtesy of Selket's own actions during the woman's interview. Something that made her feel all the more vindicated in doing so now that she got to the see the full effects it had on her opponent.

Rolling her neck as she stepped forward just as she thought Tina would enter the ring... Only to instead be left waiting another moment as Tina felt the need to promise her defeat to the fans. Narrowing her eyes Selket's stern expression would soon melt into a smug smirk as she looked up at Tina entering the ring. "Kufufufu quite the bold proclamation." Selket chided as she took slow yet purposeful steps towards the middle of the ring, eyes locked on what seemed to be a barely restrained Tina in her corner.

"Though I must say..." Selket said, looking at her nails casually before back at Tina, or more specifically her knee brace. "Haven't you ever been told to not make promises you won't be able to keep?" Selket asked mockingly towards Tina, already starting to play her mind games and worm her way inside the woman's head.

As Selket brought her slow approach to the center of the ring, Tina matched the same movements until both were close to each other in the center of the ring, almost close enough to have breasts pressed into each other. As Selket attempted her mind games and displayed confidence and maybe a slight bit of arrogance, she probably should have kept her eyes on Tina's upper body instead of her point of weakness for Selket only got to the word promises before Tina suddenly swept with her left hand which was stretched out at her side and sweeping across her body to try to deliver an audible slap to Selket's face. More importantly though, when Selket would stare Tina in the face, she would see a confident smirk on her own face. This was the woman that has battled and defeated giants, this woman was the one that almost defeated the Heavyweight champion. This was the hard-working woman that was now Selket's opponent, and this was a woman that was ready to show Selket some improvements since when she made her debut against the very same woman.

Selket had gotten close to Tina, showing as much confidence as possible as she did so as an intimidation move. Showing Tina that the Egyptian wasn't scared of her, despite the woman's vendetta against her while eyeing up the blue haired woman's knee as a point of weakness. Unfortunately this left Selket open to taking a hard slap across the face that turned her head to the side. If Tina's goal had been to wipe the smug smirk off Selket's face it had worked, because as soon as Selket looked it up, her face was one of pure fury as she stared right into Tina's eyes! "Insolent welp!" Selket yelled out as she swung her own hand out for a revenge slap across Tina's face, the ref rushing to ring the bell knowing there'd be no stopping these two!

As Tina was rocked with the revenge slap, Tina faced Selket with a grin and a crazed look in her eyes as if she was pleased Selket returned the favor. One good thing about the slap exchange was Selket was already close to her, close enough for Tina to suddenly bend over and wrap her arms around Selket's upper legs. If successful, she would pull Selket off of her feet "Can't prance around like last time!" she called out as she charged forward toward a corner turnbuckle to ram Selket into it and would then proceed to grip the middle ropes at Selket's side and proceed to unleash a barrage of shoulder checks into Selket's midsection, wanting to start this match off in an explosive way.
