Tara grunted sligjtly as she stretched backstage, her arms going over either side of her head as she arched her back side to side. She was slated for her first match since We Are Law 2020 and it was against a rookie. She wished it was against someone a bit more... substantial to show her skills but she supposed this was fine. After all she didn’t mind giving a newbie some time to shine. Her match against Amaya was proof of that.
None the less Tara certainly looked like she was taking this match seriously. Wearing the geat gifted to her by Kyoko, which was really just a snazzed up version of her usual outfit with some purple tint and a knight emblazened on her chest, she looked like she was a fighter raring to go which in all fairness she absolutely was. Standing up fully and throwing two quick punches in front of her Tara walked in a confident strut towards the guerilla position. The staff she passed either gawking or gulping from the intimidating beauty before them, a majority of the latter do to the serious intent look on Tara’s face which was unusual for her given her usual joking and high energy attitude. None the less she ahd a clear path to the entrance ramp as her music played. Spoiler
Once it began playing Tara would strut out from the backstage area and pose with her arm held high in the air, a smile gracing her face for the first time of the night as tbe crowd cheered. Soon she began making her way down, a confident, sexy strut and sway to her lips as approached the ring. Hopping onto the apron she leap up and dropped back down into a perfect split.
Grabbing the middle ropes Tara vaulted straight over them with a impressive dsiplay of gymnastic skill and flare. Landing inside the ring in a roll Tara popped to her feet in a standing position where she immediately raised her leg all way up before bringing it down in a stomp, as her foot hit the mat pyro shot out from the corners of the ring. Smirking from the fan reaction Tara would walk to her corner and turn to look up for her opponet, eager to see what the girl was like.
It was her debut and Ai felt a bit nervous and extremely excited. She had made it. She was in the big leagues now. She was wrestling for LAW now. It had all happened so fast. One day she was wrestling in someone's backyard with like a dozen of people watching and next day, today, she was in the LAW arena with thousands of people cheering and who knew how many more watching from home. But as excited as Ai was she didn't showed it. Her pretty face remained as expressionless and distant as always, even if her heart was racing.
The announcer introduced her, for the very first time to the audience and she walked out towards the arena for the first time, hearing the fans cheering loudly. Perhaps some of them recognized her from the indie circuit. Perhaps they were just eager to see another match. This was without doubt the largest audience she had ever performed for. Ai moved straight to the ring, without looking at the fans
with a barely noticeable smile on her. She was wearing the same attire she used in the indies. A cute one piece leotard with turtle neck, thigh high socks and low wrestling shoes. Spoiler
Ai climbed the stairs in the corner and slipped into the ring, looking at her opponent seemingly unimpressed. She leaned in her corner and waited for the referee to start the match.
Tara laned against her corner waiting patiently for her opponet tonreveal herself, eagerly anticipating what kind of challenge she’d pose. Soon her patience was rewarded as the girl soon came out to a rather basic entrnace song. Now having her first look Tara nodded to herself in appreciation of the girl’s attractiveness. However besides that she wasn’t very oitwardly impressed with Ai’s entrance or apperance.
With hands on her hips Taralooked over the girl head to toe an unreadable expressionnon her face as she seemingly tried to evaluate her. Even when the bell rang Tara didn’t charge forward like usual. Rather instead she calmly walked forward with her hand out, seemingly for a handshake. However should Ai accept, or try to rather, Tara would pull her hand back beofre swinging her other arm around in a attempt to smack the girl!
The referee didn't took long to give her final instructions and call for the bell... and the match was on!
Sakurai took a deep breathe and stepped forward, looking extremely calm on the outside, but inside her heart was racing. This was her first match in the big leagues! Sakurai assumed her classic wrestling stance, which was more of a mixed martial arts stance than a wrestling stance, with both hands up high ready to punch. She was ready to come out swinging but this Tara girl seemed to want a handshake. Sakruai wasn't very sure about this but she didn't wanted to be perceived as rude. So she reached forward and tried to just barely touch hands with Tara in a respectful manner... only to find her hand being grabbed by Tara as she was pulled closer, directly into her opponent's arm.
"AAAACH!" Ai moaned as she was struck by Tara's arm. The surprise blow stunned her making her stagger back a bit confused and very very angry by Tara's underhanded tactic.
It wasn’t often Tare was put in a match with a rookie, but when she was she liked to... test them, see what theh were capable of and how they responded. Such was obvious from her previous bout with Amaya. In this case though she wanted to take an alternate approach and see how Sakurai responded to... less than favorable tactics and attitudes.
Thus she smacked the girl in the back of the head to punish her for dalling for the old fake handshake bit. Watching as the girl yelped while recoiling away she chuckled a bit as she held her arms up. ”Come on kid gotta be smarter than that!” She said jokingly, almost immediately however she would dart forward, thrusting her leg up to try and go for a quick kick to the rookie’s side!
Sakurai wasn't a complete rookie. She had seen enough wrestling to know about those fake handshakes. Still she had thought that Tara would be the honorable sort of good sportgirl competitor. That was clearly not the case and Sakurai paid for it, first by getting smacked in the back of the head, which left Sakurai a bit disoriented and then by kicking her side... but Sakurai was ready her side.
"UGHHH!" Sakurai groaned as Tara's foot impacted her side in a very painful manner, but she immediately reached for that leg and grabbed with with one arm, pulling it closer to her body and not letting it go. Then she brought in her other hand and then she drop her body down, twisting in the air, trying to twist Tara's leg and bring her down with a corkscrew leg takedown.
Tara smirked watching how disoriented the girl appeared to be following that smack to the back of her head. The pre emptive strike had been succesaful and now it was time to press the advantage. Granted she knew the tactic was cheap, but it was a good way of testing out a newbie like, that and in Tara’s opinion a move was only ever cheap if it failed. As she brought her leg around she smirked in satisfaction as it impacted the girl’s side. But when she tried to pull her leg back a look of surprise came over Tara’s face as she found she couldn’t. Now hopping on one foot Tara was caught defenseless as she was spun around with the dragon screw and collided with the mat in a heap, momentarily defenseless!
Sakurai spun around, taking Tara's leg with her and they both hit the mats. Ai quickly got back to her knees, not letting Tara's leg go. She simply nodded satisfied and looked at Tara, not saying a word, just looking as focused as always. Quickly getting up Sakurai pulled Tara's leg up with her and then raised her left leg only to bring it down hard, trying to hit Tara's inner thigh with a hard stomp kick. Sakurai didn't knew anything about Tara, save for what she had showed her in the few first seconds of the fight, but she got the feeling that punishing Tara's legs would be a good strategy.
Tara grunted in surprise and mild pain as she hit the mat from that dragon screw move her opponet had pulled. Definitely not what Tara had expected but it wasn’t what had her concerned. No what she was worried about was the fact that her leg was still in the grasp of her opponet. Grunting as she looked up Tara was just in time to watch her leg take a kick. ”Gah!” She’d cry out in pain in response, her hands instinctively going to her leg. Gritting her teeth Tara attempted to turn over till she was on her back and would attempt to shoot her free leg forward to attempt and kick Sakurai in the stomach to make her back off!
Sakurai remained expressionless as usual while she kicked Tara's thigh and then started pulling Tara by her leg towards the center of the ring. Tara rolled onto her back and send a hard kick into Sakurai's tummy, making her groan in pain and stagger back a couple of steps, letting go Tara's leg. But Sakurai absorbed the pain rather quickly, taking a deep breathe before she pushed herself and rushed towards Tara.
Sakurai jumped in the air and pushed her right elbow outwards, lining it up with Tara's chest as she came down, trying to slam it right into Tara's breasts while she fell down by her side.
