From the way Toni came down to the ring, everyone could see that she projected confidence. She made purposeful strides, keeping her head up and moving without any hesitation. It was even more striking when she didn't have her sister by her side - evidently, she had gone into this match fully assured she wouldn't need any help.
For those in the crowd who knew Cecilia Lombard, however, there were those lingering doubts that Toni's confidence was misplaced. Cecilia might have suffered some embarrassing defeats since her debut, but after her run-in on a match at We Are LAW 2020, there was no doubt that she was out to prove herself a force to be reckoned with. Since then, she'd shown her efforts at training and improving her abilities had paid off. She'd made a fearsome showing in the ring - and even putting her record aside, her ruthless attitude would prove she wasn't going to hold back in this match.
Soon enough, the lights cut as Cecilia's music began playing - and when they came back up, she stood facing Toni on top of the entrance ramp. Her brows were narrowed in a glare, and her fists balled at her sides. She too made her way to the ring with purpose, as though she was already ready to meet Toni head to head. As she neared the ring, the corners of her lips curled up into a smile. She was sure this was going to be fun.
Cecilia kicked her leg up onto the ring apron, sliding in under the ropes. When she got back to her feet, she worked out the kinks in her neck before she stood staring Toni down, and her smile grew a little wider, enough to show the edges of her teeth.
"Hope you didn't get your hopes up..." she muttered.
