Mio Hayasaka was excited as she waited at the gorilla position. This was like a dream coming true. Just less than two weeks ago, she was wrestling in a small venue with less than fifty people among the audience, but tonight, she would be wrestling among the big girls here in LAW, in front of hundreds of spectators, in the arena and at home. The young woman was eager to show her stuff to everyone, especially after getting herself drafted as a regular wrestler as opposed to being inducted into the young lioness training program. Seeing that she had enough experience at the indies, she was fit to be a regular talent who would be free to practice her craft without limitation.
And from what she had learned, she would be facing someone named Tina Armstrong. She was the inaugural middleweight champion, so her first match for tonight would be against some big name here in LAW. Mio was so excited to enter the ring that she almost didn't realize that she had received her cue. Embarrassed by her blunder, she immediately made her way out, her music being played from the loudspeakers. The metal song blared from the speakers, heralding her entrance. Some people who recognized the young indie star cheered for her, and Mio punched her fist in the air, getting the crowd to cheer for her.
