"Tigress" Tina Armsrong vs. Candy Cane: Submission Match

Tina hadn't fought Candy since the early days of her LAW career and that fight had been a brutal affair. Tonight the two were slated for a submission match which was a curious choice. Tina was not known primarily as a submission wrestler but the roster knew she had the technical skill and knowledge of holds to be dangerous in this type of match. Candy Cane was a brutal brawler. She could soften up women and win but Tina didn't know her to be much for the use of more technical holds.

Candy Cane was always a dangerous foe, but Tina doubted this match type was her idea. The tigress was feeling good, filled with confidence as she made her way out of the locker room. Soon after her music began to play and she came out to the ring, all smiles as she waved to the crowd, high living fans and playfully posing to flaunt her figure but for its fitness and sex appeal. The young Brit slid underneath the bottom rope and stood tall with her arms in the air, a smile still etched on her face as she awaited the arrival of Candy Cane.

Candy Cane had finally gotten her chance to get back at Tina Armstrong, a woman who had managed to defeat her when she was on a roll here in the early days of LAW, a woman that Candy Cane was more than a little pissed at still. She didn't know how she felt about this being a submission match, she'd have rather had the chance to just bash in the former Middleweight Champion's face, but having to make her tap? She wondered if she was going to be able to do that.

Still....she had a shot now at least, that was something. She didn't do the usual band thing, it hadn't felt right since her match with Rowdy Reiko. She stepped out onto the ramp as her music played out of the speakers and she would march her way down towards the ring, no instruments or musicians around like usual. The punk-rocker made her way to the squared circle and then rolled into the ring under the bottom ropes. Getting up to her feet she'd throw a nasty glare towards Tina Armstrong. Walking up to the center of the ring and raising her right hand, showing that sign of the horns before she'd back up and bring her arm down.

Tina caught the nasty look thrown at her by Candy Cane. She simply smiled back in return and stood with her hands on her hips.

She knew Candy liked to brawl and Tina was no stranger to slugfests either. Still that was not the best way to win here. As the bell rang Tina moved in looking to inch close until jumping up to try to catch Candy with a dropkick to the chest!

Candy Cane was not a big fan of Tina's, not since she had been defeated by her and she had one goal today. To defeat Tina and show her up, put her on track towards that Middleweight Championship she wanted. When she was champion the money would start coming in and she'd get her name out there even more....

The punk-rocker would step forward and ready herself, inching closer to Tina but as she did the speedy blonde came rushing right at her and jumped up, driving her feet into the chest of Candy Cane and taking her off of her foot just as harshly as she took her by surprise, causing her to fall backwards and cough out as she landed on the canvas.

Tina was off to a good start and this was a submission match after all, so right now Tina's mind was already transitioning from the dropkick to potential holds to put Candy Cane in. Tina had immediate access to her opponents legs, so she tried to grab both ankles to roll Candy Cane over. Tina was going to drop down on the back of one of her opponents knees with her own, grabbing one foot in both hands to begin wrenching down and attempt to put a painful ankle lock on Candy Cane to really get going and put a hurting on her!

Candy Cane had not been perpared for that quick start of Tina's as she came running right at her and drove her boots into the chest of Candy Cane, taking the punk-rocker down and with it Tina decided to take a hold of her limb and pull on it, turning Candy Cane over onto her front as she then locked her foot into a painful ankle lock!

" Aaah!" Candy Cane yelped out in pain, slamming her fist into the canvas as she would shake and twist, struggling from let to right...before she'd lash out with her free leg to try and kick it back against the side of Tina's knee, trying to get the former champion to buckle and drop, hopefully release her.

Tina wrenched as hard as she could on Candy Canes ankle trying to inflict as much damage as she could! Tina was doing all she could until her knee got kicked out from underneath her sending her stumbling forward as she let go of Candy Cane's ankle. The tigress rolled quickly to the side, not wanting to be stationary too long. The last thing she needed was to take immediately strikes from her opponent. With that in mind Tina rose back up to her feet hoping that the ankle lock did some damage to limit her opponents mobility.

[Devastated]

Candy Cane's kick hit home and struck Tina right at the knee and made her buckle and back off. Candy Cane quickly rolled away and started to push up towards her feet, throwing a harsh glare towards the former champion. She'd put some pressure on her ankle and for the moment it felt fine. She figured it was her time to go on the offensive!

Rushing towards Tina at full speed! Running right at her and at the final moment she'd try and leap up! Showing off some of her acrobatic talents as she would try and latch her legs around that head of Tina as she'd try and throw herself downwards and swing Tina down with a Hurricanrana!

Tina was previously in a good spot but things were taking a turn. Tina staggered about and things were going from bad to worse. Tina felt Candy wrap her legs around her head, painfully snapping her down to the mat with a hurricanrana!

Tina groaned and kicked the mat now laid out and watching as Candy Cane seized control!

[Devastated]

Jumping up and snapping her legs shut around that head of Tina's, Candy Cane swung down and throw them to the canvas! Nailing Tina with that Hurricanrana. The athletic young Canadian would jump up to her feet and throw a harsh glare towards the kicking Tina. Looking to wait for her to start to move up before taking a full sprint towards her.

The redhead would try and jump up and drive her boots right into the back of Tina as she was getting onto her feet. Aiming to nail the blonde with a dropkick hopefully right to the spine!
