L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Sanae was practically quivering with excitement as she stood backstage. Her second match was just about to begin! It may have taken a while for her booking to go anywhere, but it seemed she had picked up some steam in her debut. She'd given it her all, and she'd shown off her talents. Evidently, the people backstage had noticed, because it wasn't long before she found herself in another match! She could already feel her climb to fame taking her higher and higher. Things could only look up from here!

"Coming first to the ring, from Itoshima, Japan! At 5'2 and 115 lbs., SANAE SAITOU!"

"Hiiiii everybody!!" Sanae ran down the entrance ramp with a spring in her step before the announcer was even finished calling out her name, throwing her hands up to slap high-fives with the fans as she passed. Once she was at the end of the aisle, she spun back around with a wink, her skirt trailing behind her, and threw up a peace sign. "I hope you're all excited, 'cuz I sure am! I'm soooo glad all my loyal fans could come out to cheer me on tonight! I'm not gonna let you down!"

Sanae turned back around to the ring, placing her hand on the bottom rope before she kicked her leg up to throw herself over the top and into the ring. There, she jumped back up, holding her arms up in the air, and charged for the turnbuckle across from her to jump up on the ropes and point to the stands, drawing another cheer, before she did a backflip onto the mat. Sanae didn't care about burning so much energy on her entrance and not having any left for the bout ahead of her, no matter what her trainers told her. As far as she was concerned, any attempt to get eyes on her was one well taken.

Soon, the green-haired girl settled into her corner, where she hopped up and down in place to warm herself up for the coming match. She was supposed to be facing off against a debuting opponent tonight, she heard; she could only anticipate what she had to look forward to!

As Gosu wore her secondary attire for her debut match, her cleavage partially showing and her long raven hair flowing, she was of small stature but certainly had her looks, and certainly seemed intrigued in her first match up!

Appearance

"My debut match huh? Time to make it a good once since I'm starving... Maybe I'll gets some ramen later" Gosu would say as she rubbed her belly a bit as it growled.

She bowed her head and prepared for her entrance. The lights pointing towards her as she left the curtain. Soon enough Gosu heard her theme playing and the announcer called out in Japanese.

At the mention of her name the raven haired girl ran out with an intense confidence. A number of the crowd cheered at her appearance as her long hair was certainly an attention getter but flowed in the ring rather well. She would rile up the crowd raising her hands in the air and run in her leotard unintentionally getting the audiences attention. Gosu certainly wasn't shy or timid but she was certainly looking for some fun to be had because of her attire. She would continue to walk to the ring. Nodding to the referee the dark haired girl stood in the center of ring as she stared her opponent down across the mat. Making things all the more interesting as the crowd clearly favored Sanae for some reason or another.

Sanae tilted her head at seeing an unfamiliar girl making her way to the ring. She knew that her opponent would be in LAW for the first time, but in truth, she didn't really know what to expect. In her attire and demeanor, she seemed darker than the brighter and more energetic Sanae, and this made the green-haired girl tilt her head with some concern. Still, she knew one couldn't judge a book by its cover, and a debuting competitor could bring anything to the table. Though, that scarf of hers was awfully imposing.

Not one to pass up the chance to grow her social circle, Sanae walked closer to Gosu, holding her hand out with a grin on her face as she proposed a handshake. "Hi there! I'm Sanae, aspiring idol, and your opponent tonight! I'm gonna give it all I got, okay? So don't hold back! Uh, are you just gonna leave the scarf on or..?"

Gosu had a bit of a quiet demeanor to her at times and this was one of them. Her opponent was more vibrant and outgoing a bit of a polar opposite if you will. Gosu knew this girl could either be one of two things predictable or un-predictable making her wonder which was she. Sanae certainly had the makings of a face, but she was very trusting for some reason as she held out her hand with a smile as if she was trying to make friends... but her face told a different story. "Sorry I'm not interested in making friends I hope you can understand that, and yes I will be wearing the scarf!" Gosu would scoff at her opponent as she looked and asked "Do we have a problem?"

Gosu would take a few steps back and set herself up for the fight as she herself up in her fighting stance as she was focused on the win no hesitation in her mind as her only desire was to be Lightweight Champion. The bell rang and so would her first step in her journey too begin...

DING! DING! DING!

The contrast between the two wrestlers was quickly becoming apparent. Sanae's bubbly and cheerful attitude had little in common with the cold disdain that Gosu met her with, and the green-haired girl soon realized she had perhaps spoke too soon. She gulped, drawing her hand back as she straightened herself to look Gosu in the eye. Regardless, she wasn't going to let this get her down, and soon after Sanae dropped into a stance, throwing up her arms. "Nope! No problem! No problem at all! No matter who you are, I'm not afraid of you! I'm gonna win this for all my fans, right?"

Sanae got a few cheers from the defiant display. She might have been naive, but she was seeing it was about time for her to get serious. And knowing the fans were on her side encouraged her, as she grinned even wider. She was going to take that enthusiasm into her match, as the bell rang, opening things for her to make her move!

And Sanae didn't waste it. As soon as she had the go-ahead for the match to begin, she charged for Gosu, using the momentum to carry herself forward before she swung her arm out for a lariat, punctuated with a dramatic battle cry!

"Good then lets begin!" As Gosu set herself up in her fighting stance she stood there and wondered what Sanae's goto strategy would be as she saw her charging towards her. She noticed the fighter put out her arm signaling a lariat was coming her as she noticed her rather convincing battle cry. "Yes do come at me but starting like that will only cost you..." Gosu would say as she would manage to duck in time to avoid the lariat giving her a window of opportunity. She then cocked back her fist and at the precise moment she rammed it straight into Sanae's midsection as a plausible counter.

If this catches her off guard Gosu would proceed with grabbing Sanae and putting her in position and continue with a bevy of strikes to the face and body to try and stagger her opponent early on.

The match had begun, and Sanae was ready for it! Wanting to make as big an impact on those watching as she would on her opponent, she charged in closer, crying out like a warrior on the battlefield as she drew back her arm and prepared to let it slam into Gosu. She felt assured in herself that this would look great. Unfortunately, what she hoped for in style wouldn't be backed up in substance - and with Sanae's dramtic display, Gosu would be able to anticipate the blow long before it connected, allowing her to duck out of the way.

Feeling her arm whiff through the air, Sanae skidded to a stop. "What? Aww..." She was disappointed that things didn't turn out as she planned, but she was ready to make up for it, as she turned around to face Gosu...only for the debuting wrestler to drive a fist straight into Sanae's soft, unprotected stomach.

"GAH-!" Taking the blow, Sanae doubled over forward as she stumbled back, clutching her gut. While she was stunned, though, Gosu would latch onto her, launching yet more punches all over her body! Sanae's head was whipped back, jostled from side to side and back and forth with each fist that landed; she could hardly tell where one had stopped before the next one hit. "Hey! Ow! HEY! OW! Stop it!!" she cried, trying to get her arms up and push Gosu away from her, but it would hardly be enough to stop the punishment. Sanae would have to try something else if she wanted to extract herself, and she swung her leg around to hook Gosu's ankle and fall back, trying to sweep her footing out from under her and send her toppling to the mat. Hopefully, that would buy her some time!

Gosu managed to catch her opponent with a counter via fist to the midsection and went on to summon a bevy of punches coming Sanae's way. It was only a matter of time as Sanae was talking quite the beating as things took a new turn so early in the match. "You know if you want me to stop you're going to have to try and get yourself out of this predicament!" Gosu would say as she continued to rain fist after fist each more calculated than the last.

Gosu was asserting the strength in her strikes as she should noticing how much she had staggered Sanae and was really putting her through the ringer so early, but Sanae wasn't going to be someone's punching bag so quickly as Gosu thought she would. Sanae would try to lift her arms up and push Gosu away which was hardly enough so she had to innovate in a new strategy and so she did, Gosu's opponent waited for the right opportunity and swept her leg and hooked around Gosu's anckle and tripped her up "Wha-?! Whoah?!" she yelled as she fell to the mat giving Sanae a moment to recover as Gosu made her way back up to her feet.

Sanae knew she needed to get out of this predicament, and fast! She could hardly keep up with all the punches Gosu was throwing at her, but she knew she would have to turn things around soon enough. The problem was, she had blundered and let her opponent overtake her, and now she was paying the price for that. That was something Gosu was keen to remind her of, and Sanae met her taunts with a cry of her own. "I know, I know!!"

Even if Sanae was struggling to keep up with her opponent, though, she still wasn't going to lay back and take it, and she was able to counter, throwing her leg around Gosu's and tripping her up. The two girls were swept off their feet, landing on the mat. Although Gosu was quick to roll away, Sanae had broken the pressure on her, and while the dark-haired girl was righting herself, Sanae had the time to roll herself away, going a sommersault to get over to the ropes and create distance between herself and her opponent.

"Okay! Last time didn't go so well...but how about THIS!?" Sanae ran against the ropes, stretching them against her to draw on their momentum before she threw herself toward Gosu, running at full speed. As she closed in on her opponent, she would jump up and throw her arms out in front of her, looking to hit her with a spear!

As Gosu made her way back up to her feet to plan a new strategy as going head on could work but it was best not to risk things. As she stood on one knee. Sanae had pushed herself to try and get up before Gosu and maybe regain some momentum after stretching herself from the ropes and pushing herself forward to hit her opponent with a spear. "Guah?!" Sanae managed to land the spear and Gosu certainly felt the impact on her midsection as she grunted back in complete surprise by how painful it felt.

Gosu laid on the mat grimacing a bit from the pain holding her hand on her belly "Nghhh... Crap can't let my guard down." Gosu would say to herself as she laid on her back in the ring leaving her open to another attack from Sanae.
