L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

*Coming off of an impressive amount of wins over the course of her last, few matches Agatha was feeling pumped and elated going into her match tonight- She was slated to go up against a high flyer known as Maria, someone who's name didn't ring a single bell, but that wasn't about to deter the stalwart scandinavian in the slightest!* "I am honor-bound to introduce her to the wrath of my ancestors, and so it shall be!" *The taut grappler snarled in the direction of a nearby mirror, stretching her smile across the length of her face to reveal her pearly whites. Without warning, she dashed through the hallway and emerged onto the scene, her music eventually dropping as the elated warrior struck her signature pose for the audience's amusement!*

*The universal pop she received provided her with enough motivation for Agatha to storm down the walk ramp, extending both of her arms out to high five anyone and everyone in her path before finally scaling the metallic steps and vaulting over the highest rope.* "THUNK!" *Her ponderous boots stomped against the surface of the ring, punctuating the end of her entrance as the crowd began chanting* "A-ga-tha! A-ga-tha!" *To show their support towards the blonde brawler!*

Maria's entrance was far more subdued than any of her previous entrances. A simple click and the lights of the arena went off. Barely a moment later, and the lights above them blazed to life once more, nearly blinding the audience! When the crowd finally managed to calm themselves after the sudden change, Maria was now standing in her own corner of the ring, her steely gaze leveled at Agatha.

With all the opponent's being thrown at her, she felt like a rock stranded in the middle of the ocean. The constant battering of waves on all sides, from every angle. One was not enough to break her, but the constant whittling away at her from all sides was...draining. She barely had a moment to breathe, let alone rest.

Stretching her arms, she gestured for Agatha to approach, palm up and flexing her hand with a "Come and get me" gesture.

*Once Agatha's entrance had completed and the crowd's chanting had subsided, the voluptuous valkyrie was nonchalantly reclining against her designated corner post. While it was easy to mistake her cavalier expression with boredom, that was far from the truth- The Scandinavian Sledgehammer was genuinely anxious about her opponent tonight, but she refused to allow anyone to notice this except her. However, once Maria's theme music dropped, it became abundantly apparent that she was incredibly nervous.*

*With a confident stride in her walk, Agatha eventually locked eyes with her foe as she entered the arena- Her unwavering gaze was enough to drop even the mightiest viking to his knees in terror, but Agatha refused to be intimidated by gazes alone. Deciding to be as proactive as she could be, Agatha waltzed towards the center of the ring while shooting Maria an elated grin.*

"Ding ding ding!" *The bell suddenly rang, allowing Agatha to honor Maria's invitation to throw herself towards the feisty competitor.* "If you insist, then I will be more than happy to oblige!" *Streaking towards her opponent, the overzealous warrior threw her forearm against Maria's face for a massive lariat!*

No sooner had the bell rang, then Agatha had come charging out of the corner, nailing the veteran luchadora in the face with a nasty lariat! The blow sent Maria reeling into the corner! Her ears rang from the impact, spine slamming hard into the turnbuckle pad while the audience visibly winced from the verbal THUD that echoed from the impact!

Nursing her jaw, Maria bent over a bit, ready to meet this overzealous brute with a clean kick to the chin, her foot clapping against the bare skin with a loud SLAP!

*After connecting with her monstrous forearm, Agatha squandered little time in attempting to capitalize on this golden opportunity by approaching Maria with the intent of slamming her face against the center of the canvas. Unfortunately, Maria had other plans- The type that directly conflicted with the buxom valkyrie's own, and before she had the chance to elevate her guard the blonde felt her adversary's wrath in the shape of a big boot!*

"NNNGGH!" *Agatha gnashed her pearly whites together as Maria's foot smashed into her maw, causing the overzealous Agatha to stagger sideways from the agonizing impact. She clutched the highest rope to maintain some semblance of stability, but it was abundantly evident that the aggressive grappler had been thoroughly stunned for the moment.*

Maria's counter hit home, her padded foot slamming hard into Agatha's jaw and sending the bigger woman staggering against the ropes not too far from the corner! Spotting her chance, Maria hopped over the rope, standing on the edge of the apron outside the ring. Swinging her leg up, her foot clapped Agatha right on the ear, hopefully staggering her enough to push her back a few feet. Picking her moment carefully, she gave a mighty heave, launching herself over the top rope toward her opponent! If her calculations were correct (and given her experience they were most of the time) she would bring Agatha spinning around to come crashing down with a spinning DDT!

*Struggling to fully recuperate from the previous blow she had sustained, Agatha suddenly felt another, subsequent kick that landed perfectly across her dome!* "Ggrrh!" *She gnashed her teeth together to try and diminish the discombobulating sensation causing the Scandinavian sledgehammer to stagger backwards.*

*Unfortunately for her, Maria had strategically placed her precisely where she wanted her, ultimately leading to her vaulting over the highest rope and transiting to an almost immaculate swinging DDT!* "Woooah!" *Agatha felt herself helplessly whirl around before being planted, the subsequent* "THUMP!" *Leaving her motionless.*

Spinning back to her feet, Maria had a fierce glare in her eyes. If Agatha even had a SHRED of doubt that Maria could bring it in a match against someone much bigger and stronger than her, then she hoped that little taste would put any doubts to rest. Stomping her foot on the canvas, she lined up with Agatha's prone body. Looking down at the motionless body, she jumped up, bringing both knees down onto the Sledgehammer's body! Rolling through, she continued the maneuver, back-flipping to drill her knees once again into Agatha's torso!

The crowd was on their feet, their cries mixing with Maria's own vicious war cry as she took one last leap, nailing the Standing Shooting Star Press and catching her opponent's leg for a pinfall attempt!

*With her body sprawled out across the canvas, the vicious valkyrie would attempt to catch her breath, only to be introduced to Maria's shins!* "Guuaah!" *Her muscular frame convulsed upon contact, Agatha couldn't cope with what just happened. Maria, on the other hand, was not content with leaving things as they were, finishing the job with a body splash!*

"Ggguuh!" *Too overwhelmed to immediately respond to the impact, the referee managed to count all the way up to "Two!" *Before she shot up a lone shoulder, effectively breaking the count! Agatha might be down, but she was certainly not out!*

One.....Two.......NO! The sudden jerk of Agatha's shoulder shooting up tossed the Luchadora off and sent her rolling across the canvas, robbing Maria of a quick victory. Maria sat up across from her opponent, the gears turning in her head. She knew longer this match was drawn out, the more it favored her more imposing adversary. The only way she could realistically win this was to inflict as much damage as she could early on to Agatha's skull. Daze and disorient her to throw her off balance. It wouldn't totally reove her as a threat, but it would prevent this match from ending with a single finisher from the Scandanavian Sledgehammer!

Picking herself up, she stalked over to Agatha, grabbing her head and draggng her up to her feet!
