Japan vs England! Chika Igarashi vs Chelsea Forster

Unread post by Vcom7418 »

With Chika's debut being against a Middleweight roster lady, the Raven Knight wanted to check whether the Lightweight division was up to snuff. Clara was quite strong, and she lost in the finals of the Lightweight tournament...so if the Shadow Lord found difficulty in the division, there were definitely ladies who would give her a challenge. And her opponent tonight was another lady from England, the country definitely producing quite a few small, fast ladies, a lot of them rivalling their Japanese counterparts...but Chika believed she was going to win.

Once the time for her match came, the lights turned off as the spotlight shone into the middle of the entrance ramp. As the music kicked in, people saw the Raven Knight, in her full armored get up, standing in the middle of the light, before rising and directing her attention to the ring, proudly making her way towards it. Her eyes shifted across the crowd, but she couldn't see her daughter and father anywhere, Kairi likely needing to do some important homework tonight.

With that she simply stood up onto the ring apron, hopping onto the ring corner before standing up to her full height, pointing her raven claw upwards, before her music stopped. She hopped off the turnbuckle, quickly taking off her armor to reveal her usual attire, leaving it at ringside for the ring crew to collect and take back to the locker room, as she waited for Chelsea to arrive...

"Heeeey! Chelseaaaaa! C'mon!"

Back in the locker rooms, Molly Forster - the younger sister of Chelsea Forster, and a rookie in the lightweight division herself - was tapping on her shoulder excitedly, as the elder of the two was bent over a bench, lacing up her boot. Despite the fact she had established herself as Chelsea's tag team partner, the match tonight was booked for Chelsea alone, leaving Molly to act as her manager and translator, and her attire was as such, the girl having donned a professional skirt and tie ensemble and a pair of (entirely cosmetic) glasses. Chelsea, though, still had to finish getting herself geared up. And Molly wasn't making that any easier.

"Wha' do ye want, Molly?" she said. "Can't ye see I'm chokka wi' deez boots, like?"

"Sorry, sorry," Molly answered. "But this Chika lady..! I saw her last match! She's got all this armor, and her entrance is really cool, you think we can go see it if we're fast enough?"

Chelsea sighed, letting her body deflate as she tried to let out her frustration. Of course Molly, who had been a professional cosplayer before she was motivated to join her sister in wrestling, would be most interested in what their opponent was going to wear to her entrance. But Chelsea was more concerned with practical matters. "Ye nah, Moll, de sewner I get me trabs laced, de sewner we can get out thuz." She rolled her eyes to the thought.

"Right, right...sorry. I got excited." For what it was worth, though, Chelsea did manage to finish, and the two were out the door. Unfortunately, by the time they were entering, Chika was already waiting in the ring, decidedly armor-free. "Awww..." Molly sighed, disappointed. But even if they couldn't make it to Chika's entrance, it was now time for Chelsea's, as the Englishwoman ran down to the ring and hopped onto the apron, jutting her finger towards Chika from over the ropes.

"Listen 'ere, ye divvie! I kun ye can't 'ear wha' I'm sayin', but I dun giv a scewby-do, like! I'm gonna tell ye everythin' I need ye ter kun, and I'll jus' need me fists ter do de wittin' to ye! I dun need any big fancy entrances, like!" Chelsea shouted, in her trademark manner of shouting everything in heavily-accented English. Naturally, the audience was quite confused - and Molly, now running to ringside, was left with the duty of translating.

"She says that...she knows Chika can't understand her, but she doesn't need any fancy entrances to speak for her, and she'll do the talking with her fists!" she explained, panting for breath as she tried to keep up with her sister.

Chelsea soon exit with a lady, who from what Chika researched, was her sister and tag partner in the team "British Bunnies", Molly. As long as Chelsea's second didn't interfere much in the match, she didn't mind her being on the outside...

...and as it would turn out, her presence would be very much welcomed. As when Chelsea spoke, the single word on Chika's brain that she would say outloud was:

"Nani?", she questioned with a half-joking tone to her voice, to the point where several Japanese members of the crowd laughed at her reaction, due to being in the same boat as her with Chelsea.

Molly would, thankfully translate what her sister was saying as she followed her close behind...and yet, couldn't help but want to tease the two women in front of her:

"Nani?", she repeated to Molly's words this time, some English members of the crowd chuckling at the Raven Knight's confused expression.

Chelsea was used to most of her opponents having no idea what she said - and that included the ones who actually spoke English, given that she had a particularly thick Liverpool accent and wasn't afraid to liberally use regional slang. When Chika reacted to her with confusion, it was only to be expected, and she rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Ye can go shove dat "nani" o' yos up yer arse, like!" she shot back - an expression that Molly decided not to translate.

However, when she acted like she didn't understand what Molly repeated in Japanese, Chelsea only grew more irate. She stormed closer, balling her fists as she leaned in to get in the Japanese wrestler's face. "Dun' ye go blaggin' me 'ead, like! I kun ye nah wha' she's sayin'! She's speakin' de same sort o' inane drivel yer! I dunno why yous Japanese need so many pronouns whun we English folks 'andle things perfectly bright," she added, recalling one failed attempt by her sister to try to get her to understand the local language, "but I digress, like! I'm done wittin'! It's about time we gorra good straightener!"

"She says that she's...confused, but that she's done talking, and she wants to start the match!" Molly relayed. That was as good an explanation as any to the timekeeper, who signaled for the sound of the bell.

*DING DING DING*

It was also a good enough explanation for Chelsea! She came charging straight for Chika, aiming to hit hard right out of the bat as she went to throw a clothesline!

Chika knew from talking to Clara that Englishmen living in various parts of the country would have their own regional dialect, Clara and Alice themselves having what was known as Georgian accent, while Chelsea, announced to be from Liverpool, had a Scouse accent...though she didn't expect it to be so heavy as to not understand what her opponent was saying.

She especially didn't expect the blonde to get so angry at her joke, Chelsea getting in her face to have yet more indiscernible words to say right into her face (Chika almost responding with a swift kick to the women's head), something that Molly would thankfully help with again by translating it to her into Japanese:

"<Thank you!>", Chika would tell Molly in her native language in return.

The bell would ring and right out of the gate, Chlesea rushed towards the Raven Knight, a strategy not unexpected by Chika, as she swiftly ducked underneath her opponent's arm to avoid having her head flying off her shoulders.

Once Chelsea came to a stop, Chika would quickly respond to her foe's risky attack with her own, not turning around to face her foe just yet, picking just the right moment to hop up and flip backwards, trying to nail her foot on the Brit's forehead for a Pele Kick!

Molly had to admit, the joke was pretty funny. She held back the urge to giggle at it, though; she was here to manage her sister, and those commitments came first. Still, she could spare her the effort of trying to deal with the translation gap, and she relayed things to Chika in preparation for the match to begin. But it wasn't long before the match did indeed begin - and Chelsea was out to ensure it was with a bang, as she came in fast to meet Chika with a swift blow!

However, Chika was already prepared - and Chelsea was left running onward while she ducked underneath her outstretched arm, her clothesline hitting nothing but the air. She dug her heel into the ground, skidding to a stop before she turned back around to face her opponent. "Dat one didn't count," she muttered to herself as she faced Chika once again. She noticed that she wasn't doing the same, and for a moment, Chelsea wondered if she'd still held the momentum. Perhaps she would be able to sneak up on Chika.

But the Raven Knight was ready - and as soon as Chelsea took another step towards her, she struck at just the right time! With Chika jumping up and kicking out, Chelsea was caught in the head, going stumbling backward as her head cracked backward. She fell against the ropes, just managing to keep herself from losing her balance by how she had fallen with her arms tucked around the top rope to hold her up.

"This one did, however", Chika thought to herself as her Pele Kick found it's mark, leaving Chelsea reeling. This was quite a strong move to get off on an opponent as her first bit of offense...and she wanted to make sure it wouldn't go to waste.

Rushing towards the Brit, Chika would jump upwards in the air before outstretching her legs, trying to nail Chelsea with a dropkick to her chest!

Chelsea was slumped against the ropes, her head spinning. Thanks to taking such a sharp kick to the head so early in the match, she had definitely started things off in a less than ideal fashion. She grumbled under her breath to that. If there was one thing Chelsea didn't enjoy, it was being behind. She needed to get her head back in the game and turn things around - and sure enough, she would soon shake herself out, looking up just in time to see Chika coming straight toward her with her legs outstretched and her body taking off like a missile!

For a moment, Chelsea's eyes widened with shock. Her first impulses were to brace herself for the incoming blow. But then, Chelsea realized that waiting around wasn't going to do her any good! If she wanted results, she would have to take action. And while she wasn't at her full strength at the moment, Chelsea was still on the ropes - and she could use those to her advantage, pushing herself back up if her own legs couldn't!

Grasping the ropes between her fingers, Chelsea went to shove herself up from the ground, swinging her body around toward Chika's. She would kick out with her own legs, looking to meet Chika's dropkick with one of her own, if she could get there in time! Judging by Chika's speed, it was unlikely she wouldn't get intercepted, but hopefully she could soften the blow.

Chika expected her feet to impact across Chelsea's body, but as she started to fall down after her dropkick, she felt her dropkick hit a much smaller area than anticipated.

She fell front first onto the ground, twisting her head. Chelsea was almost standing up once more, her feet touching the ground from what appeared to be a rope assisted jump:

"<W-what?>", the confused joshi asked in her native Japanese, confused.

What had occurred was that Chelsea's kick perfectly landed onto Chika's feet, managing to avoid being dropkicked by the Raven Knight!

With this kick, Chelsea was now the one who had the advantage while her Japanese rival needed to play catch up. Still confused and slightly reeling from her failed attack, Chika tried to find her way back to her feet...

Even those fans who had some less than warm words for Chelsea coming off of her conduct in her previous matches had to admit she pulled off some impressive work there. She had swung herself up in just the nick of time, using the soles of her boots to block Chika's dropkick with one of her own and send the Raven Knight toppling back in the process! The force of the impact sent Chelsea flipping backward, propeled by the momentum. But with her hands still clinging to the ropes, she was able to right herself, landing on the top rope and looking down on the ring.

Even Chelsea herself wasn't sure if she was going to pull that off. The timing had to be perfect. But it had all gone off without a hitch, and now that Chika was taken down, it was Chelsea's time to shine! She crossed her arms and grinned wider, feeling the smug satisfaction of a job well done wash over her.

"Well, well. Looks like dat worked out juss sound, like," Chelsea muttered to herself. Now that she had the high ground, she was eager to take advantage of that, and put her aerial expertise to the test! Springing off the ropes, Chelsea went flipping through the air, aiming herself to land on Chika with a moonsault!
