Standard Match
Victory Conditions: Gained by either pin, KO, or submission from the opponent.
Normal rules apply.
Tonight, Allen Riley was going to wrestle once again in the ring. The British daredevil was certain that if she worked extra hard tonight, she would be able to win this match. She needed to keep up a good momentum here in LAW to elevate her name, making her into someone that people should look out for. Clad in her pink outfit decorated with black flame patterns, Allen fixed her armbands before she left the locker room, making her way out to the ramp, where she received a moderate pop.
Allen would then jog down the ramp, heading over to the ring before she climbed up the apron and vaulted over the ropes, displaying her athletic and acrobatic skill. Sticking her landing, the high-flyer raised her arms, getting herself more cheers from the crowd. Feeling confident, she would walk around the ring for a while before moving towards a corner so that she could wait for her opponent to show up. Whoever this Kayla Grant was, Allen would make sure to defeat her at the end of this match.

"All right...all right. You got this, Kayla. You can do this."
A few weeks had passed since Kayla's last match in LAW, where she had faced a rather swift and unceremonious defeat at the hands of Thunder Ryuko. Even against such a famous foe, the defeat had shaken Kayla, and she had needed time to bounce back from it. She needed to convince herself she was better than that, and for that, she would need to train harder. On her own, too; as much as her tag partner and her had been inseparable, this was something Kayla had to face without any distractions (and Ash could be nothing if not distracting). It had been a hard few weeks, and she had pushed herself to the limit. But now, she thought, it was time for her to return. To take back her dignity and self-respect, and to uphold her good name as a capable competitor. She'd been preparing for that - and now, it was time for her to put that to the test.
After Allen had made her entrance, it was time for Kayla to come striding out onto the ramp, holding her fist above her head and drawing a few cheers as she did, but compared to her opponent her entrance was much more serious and sedate. She came charging down the aisle, her gaze trained ahead of her on the ring, and when she came in close she lunged forward to dive in under the ropes, where she soon came skidding to a halt. Kayla picked herself up to dust herself off and look out ahead, resting in her corner against the ropes as she eyed her opponent to be.

Allen eyed her opponent, though she was still unable to ascertain what she was capable of doing in the ring. There was only one way to figure it out, which was through their clash in their match. As soon as both Allen and Kayla were in the ring, the official would join them in the ring before calling both wrestlers to the center before starting the match, calling the bell. Hopping on the balls of her feet, Allen would then get ready as she would keep her eyes on Kayla.
"Give me your best shot," Allen said to her opponent as she would take a stance, raising both her arms in preparation to lock up with her opponent. Now that the match was underway, the British high-flyer planned to see what her opponent was capable of.

Kayla didn't drop her overall serious demeanor even as she entered the ring, as she looked up towards her opponent with a confident grin as she looked up at Allen. She smiled to her and nodded, but cracked her knuckles, getting herself ready for the match ahead of her. It was clear that she was confident, but she still clearly had her mind set on winning the match, and she wasn't going to let that get away from her. "Right," she said, accepting Allen's challenge. "I will. I hope I won't disappoint."
As soon as the bell rang, Kayla was ready to start the match off strong. Seeing Allen offering a lockup, she decided to do the sporting thing and take hold of her, as they began to circle one another. But she still was showing her power from the start, as she leaned in to try and drive her weight against Allen by pushing at her from the position. She wanted her opponent to know exactly where she stood, and what she was willing to do in this match. And this way, she hoped to set Allen off her balance enough for her to lean in closer and get her into a grapple right off the bat.

Allen was a high-flyer first and foremost, though she wasn't exactly lacking in grappling department. As soon as both Allen and Kayla entered the grapple, the British daredevil would try to match with her opponent's strength, feeling her opponent driving her own weight against her. Allen tried to stand her ground, but she could feel that she was being pushed backwards slowly. Feeling her boots skidding against the mat a few inches back, Allen knew that it was only a matter of time before she was overpowered by her opponent in this lock up.
So, Allen would try to be creative by shifting her hold in the lock up. Hoping that the sudden shift would catch Kayla off-guard, Allen would try to take advantage of it by driving her shoulder into Kayla's chest, hoping that she would be winded, leaving herself vulnerable to whatever Allen would come up next.

Getting into things right off the mat, Kayla locked her arms around Allen as soon as the two were in range. She clenched her teeth, lurching herself forward and pushing her weight against Allen to try and control the balance between them in the clinch. Kayla was working Allen towards the ropes, and once she got there, she thought, she would be able to start throwing her weight around.
However, Allen had other plans! Throwing herself forward, the Englishwoman rammed her shoulder right into Kayla's sternum, causing her to cough as she stumbled backward. Her arms dropped from around Allen's shoulders, and in doubling backwards she left herself open!

Allen managed to catch Kayla off-guard after ramming her shoulder into her chest, and seeing that her opponent was doubling over after taking the hit, the high-flyer thought that she might as well take advantage of this while she still could. As Kayla moved backwards, Allen would follow after her as she would then reach out for her opponent's head, grabbing her by her hair so that she could straighten her up.
Then, she would launch an European uppercut right under Kayla's chin, hoping that her opponent would be left reeling from the strike. She planned to follow it up with a clothesline aimed right across her chest, though she wasn't sure if the uppercut would leave her opponent vulnerable to further attacks or not.

Having been intercepted in her attempts to gain control over the matchup, Kayla was winded - and that was something Allen would be able to take advantage of, as she closed in after her. So too it would become apparent that Allen was more willing to be rough in the ring than her opponent, as when she reached out for the Californian, it was to grab a handful of her hair and pull her back upward, drawing a groan from Kayla. She tried to pull away - but she wouldn't get far before the next part of Allen's plan hit her.
The uppercut hit Kayla square in the jaw, and she went stumbling back, coughing from the strike. Her hands reached up to cup her wounded chin, but she had left herself open - a fact Allen closed in on, as she charged forward and struck Kayla in the chest with a clothesline! The brunette fell to the mat, her ample bosom shaking from the impact as she landed on her back wih a groan. Still trying to shake off the soreness, Kayla began to roll to her side, trying to get out of the way of Allen before the high-flyer tried anything else!

Hitting Kayla with the clothesline, Allen managed to take her opponent down, though it didn't look like Kayla was about to stay down for long as she rolled herself over to her side. But the high-flyer wasn't about to let her opponent recover as she would close in, looking to bend down so that she could grab her and pull her back up.
Looking to get Kayla back onto her feet, Allen would get one arm over her shoulder while the other would move between her legs. From there, she would scoop her up, turn around before throwing her down into the mat with a body slam. She knew that she needed to reserve her energy first by using basic moves first before she could bust out her more powerful and dangerous moves.

Kayla may have fallen, but she didn't intend to be down for long; as soon as she had hit the canvas, she tried to roll to the side to get out of a potentially difficult position, knowing that if she showed weakness Allen would no doubt close in on it. However, even if she did get out of the way, Allen still managed to haul her back to her feet before she was ready. Kayla grit her teeth, her brow narrowing in frustration as she struggled against the hands holding her in place.
But it was only the beginning of Allen's plans, as Kayla's opponent hooked her arms around her, looking to lift her off the ground and go for a bodyslam! Another groan of resistance came from Kayla, the urge to fight back building in her. She didn't want Allen to get away with this so easily - and she kicked back with her legs, trying to hook them around Allen's to hold back her attempts to lift her. If she was successful, she would try to pull her opponent's footing out from under her!
