Jello Wrestling: Ash Daniels v. Suzume Sheska

"Ughhh...I'm gonna have to take such a long shower after this." Suzume groaned. While this wasn't her first messy match, it would still be a pain to clean up afterwards. At least she was able to get the staff to sneak her what amounted to a giant bowl of jello which she was now snacking on. The resulting sugar rush served to take her mind off of the fact that she had taken such a ridiculous match. For now though she would take what she could get and hope for the best. "Alright! I'm all fired up!" She said to herself in an attempt to hype herself up for the match.

As she would most likely end up swimming in jello, Suzume opted to wear a bathing suit to today's match. A pair of blue trunks and a matching top with a white bow was her outfit of the day. Still feeling the lingering effects of all the jello, the brunette bounced up and down backstage. She was hiding right out of view of the entrance and just waited for her name to be announced. As it was she'd hurry out and wave to the crowd while making her way to a rather large pit of red liquid. "Umm...ehehe totally looks like the blood of my enemies." She commented with a nervous laugh.

Now at the tip of the jello pool, Suzume would slowly touch it with her foot. As expected it felt like something between a solid and liquid. Deciding to just get it over with she soon hopped in. The jello made a satisfying squish beneath her feet. "Ehehe ok...this might be a BIT fun..." She giggled to herself, somewhat optimistic about the match ahead of her. At the very least it would be an interesting experience for her.

Standing in the middle of the pool, there was nothing left for Suzume to do now other than wait for her opponent to make herself known.

If Suzume might had reservations on what she was getting herself into, Ashley, on the other hand, couldn't wait to see what this match would bring her. Having gotten her start wrestling in bars and clubs in similar contexts, this was a return to form for her, and something that held nostalgia of her earliest days. She had improved in her craft since then, of course, but she couldn't lie. It was a lot of fun, and she hoped to do it again - especially against an opponent with more technical skill than the inebriated co-eds she was used to, which would be sure to offer a challenge. Kayla might have disapproved, but why would she need to listen to that stick in the mud? Well, okay, maybe that was an expression that wasn't really so fitting here.

Sitting backstage and checking her swimsuit in the mirror, Ash was having a hard time sitting still. "This is gonna be awesome~" she cheered to herself, wondering what she might be up against with her scheduled opponent. Soon enough, Ash got the call to go on. She practically didn't need the encouragement; now she was already coming charging down the entrance ramp, waving to the crowd with a big smile on her face.

Coming over to the pool, Ashley swiftly propped her hand up on the edge to roll herself inside, making a bit of a splash as she entered. She shot Suzume a grin, waving to her. "Yoooo!" she cheered, as she made her way closer to the girl to extend a hand for a high-five. "What's up, girl? You ready for this? C'mon, gimme five!"

Watching Ashley make her entrance, Suzume couldn't help but be in awe. The woman seemed excited and confident while Suzume was standing there awkwardly while feeling butterflies in her stomach. Soon the redhead was right up next to her, extending a hand for what Suzume had initially thought was a shake. She would try to shake Ash's hand but quickly recovered and gave the woman a rather weak high five. "Oh um...you know. And y...yeah! Totally totally." the lightweight responded. She had attempted to match Ashley's energy and surprisingly came closer than she had expected. Suzume would attribute that to the sugar she had eaten but she had to admit something about her foe's friendly demeanor put her at ease. So many other girls were quick to trash talk or tease but at least for now Ashley seemed to want to start things off a bit differently.

After a quick meet and greet, Suzume took a few steps back, now keeping her eyes glued on Ashley. The lightweight didn't come here to make friends after all. She came here to win...and then maybe make friends. "So ummmm...Round one...FIGHT?" she would say, halfway between a declaration and a question. While she was ready to get things started she wasn't quite sure about her opponent. She'd at least wait until the redhead acknowledged the start before trying to throw a few jabs at her just to test her range.

Ash saw that Suzume moved initially to take her hand, and when she returned the high-five, the redhead could tell she was hesitating from the dullness of the strike. Obviously, she was dealing with someone less than accustomed to this, and she couldn't help but feel her apprehension was almost charming in its own way. She snickered a little, but she didn't mean it maliciously, giving Suzume a wink to let her know she didn't have any hard feelings. After all, she was just here to have fun. "Oh yeah!~" she cheered, hoping that her enthusiasm might prove infectious for her opponent.

As Suzume stepped back from her, Ashley readied her own stance, placing her hands on her hips with a confident smirk on her face. Even after the bell rang, Suzume seemed still a little unsure. But Ashley was all ready to go. "Let's~" she said. A moment later she was quick to come charging towards the brunette and close the distance. She had been ready to tackle her from the moment this began - but Suzume managed to throw some offense her way. Seeing her throw a fist her way, Ash hopped back just before it made impact, putting up her guard. When Suzume threw the next punch, however, she'd be ready for it - and she moved to grab her by the arm to try and whip her across the pool.

Trying to quickly gauge her opponent, Suzume threw some quick punches. Seeing how Ashley had charged right at her she was glad to have stopped herself from just being run over. Unfortunately for the brunette her second punch was intercepted and what followed wasn't much less pleasant than what would have happened had she been tackled. The lightweight was tossed forward and her momentum would take her a few steps. Quick movement in a pool of jello was not something Suzume was used to however and after stumbling forward a couple of feet she lost traction. Before the woman knew it she had fell face first into the pool with a loud splash.

While the crowd might have enjoyed the spectacle of the clumsy lightweight taking a sudden spill, Suzume was less than thrilled to already be all messy. "Ughhhh!" She cried out before slamming a hand down in frustration. She'd huff and quickly try to push herself up, not wanting to let Ashley take advantage of her position so early in the match. She had a feeling the other wrestler would have closed in by the time she was up though and was just hoping to be ready for a follow up.

And with that, Suzume had been the first to go down into the pool in this match. As she turned back around and dusted off her hands, Ash couldn't help but snicker at her predicament, a wide greasy smirk making its way over her face. "Looks like somebody doesn't have a leg to stand on, huh? Huh?" she joked, making a quip that probably was funnier to her than anyone else, but this fact didn't seem to bother her much. Still smiling wide, the redhead leaned over towards Suzume at the waist, her hands on her knees, and her rear end pointed towards the crowd, as she gave it a wiggle playfully. But she wasn't going to just stand by and taunt Suzume; there were better things to be done.

Wading up towards Suzume as quickly as the jello around her would allow, Ashley closed in on her opponent where she landed, approaching her from behind. "Need a hand?" she teased, before going to grab Suzume and hook an arm under her own to try and drag her back up to her feet. If she could right her, she would go to lock an arm around Suzume's neck for a sleeperhold, just to test the waters.

"Ughhh..." Suzume groaned, not from any pain but from Ashley's pun which at best could be called a reach. The only thing that was really hurt was her pride but she was used to that taking a few hits already. Pushing herself up, she would have a moment to think of an appropriate retort and hopefully one just as cheesy. "I'll show you I have a leg up on...waaah!" She started before suddenly a pair or arms slipped under her own and would start pulling her to her feet. The lightweight appreciated the help up but knew that nothing good was going to come of having her foe grabbing her from behind.

Soon Suzume's fears were realized and Ash had begun squeezing an arm around her neck. The lightweight's eyes widened and her arms immediately went to grip Ashley's arm to try and pry it away. "Nnnng!" She gasped, finding her air swiftly cut off. The crowd cheered the early show of offence from Ashley but Suzume wasn't appreciating it all that much. She wasn't without recourse though. It took her a moment to stop panicking but when she did Suzume would try to throw her elbow back and drive it into her foe's stomach. If that managed to surprise the other wrestler she'd reach back to try to grab Ashley's head before dropping down and attempting to toss her foe over her shoulder and into the jello.

The redhead knew that her joke wasn't the best, but she seemed well enough amused by it anyway, as a big, goofy grin crossed her face. Suzume tried to call one back to her, and she had to appreciate the effort - but that wasn't what was on her mind right now. She was still in this to win it, and that was why she would proceed straight to locking in the sleeperhold!

She gave a squeeze down on her opponent's neck, but it wouldn't be so easy. Suzume was making a valiant effort to resist, and for a while the two were caught in a mutual deadlock - Ash's arm struggling against Suzume's hand. Groaning against the strain, she started to teeter in place, the slippery jello beneath her foot not doing any wonders for her balance - but she was able to keep her footing, even if Suzume would ensure her hold wasn't locked on as tightly as she might have planned it.

Her hold would soon break, however, when Suzume struck back at her stomach, the blow landing with a thud. Ash bent over with a cough, clutching her abdomen. Her foot started to slip, and she was just about to go down to one knee, but Suzume would make sure she wouldn't get that far, as she grabbed her by the head and hurled her over her shoulder! Now it was Ashley's turn to take to the pit, as she went rolling back with a cry of surprise before coming to a stop.

While she certainly didn't look like it, Suzume did have a few tricks up her sleeve in a fight. In fact she found that sometimes her unassuming appearance played to her advantage. Right now it looked like Ashley had underestimated her and as a result ended up not with egg on her face but with jello. Looking down at her opponent, Suzume grinned from ear to ear. "Step one, done!" She declared before she got herself ready to move on to step two.

Now about to let an opportunity go by, Suzume would throw herself on top of the now slippery Ashley. She would land with her whole body covering her foe's before squirming atop her for a moment to get comfortable. Her next step would be to grab Ashley by the chin while straddling the woman's back to trap her in what Suzume was hoping to be a painful camel clutch. "Hah! Taaaaake this!" She'd yell in triumph, hoping to stretch Ashley as far back as she would go. Of course the slippery jello made it hard to maintain her grip but Suzume would hold on tightly as the crowd showed their appreciation.

Her body made slick by the jello coating her, Ashley went skidding across the floor of the pool, sprawled on her back in front of Suzume. As she shook the cobwebs out of her head and started to come to her senses, the girl started to roll herself over onto her stomach, picking herself up on her elbows. She glanced back over her shoulder to watch as Suzume approached, and for a moment she froze, hearing that this was step one. Step one? Of what? Surely that would that mean that Suzume had more planned for her...

Before Ash could do anything to prepare herself, though, Suzume was already upon her - a statement, in fact, which would soon prove to be quite literal, as the girl splashed down on top of her! Ashley coughed and sputtered, falling down into the jello with another splash. Her legs tried to blindly kick, splashing some of the gelatin into the air, but she couldn't do much to get Suzume off her; she was weighted down too well! She let out a cry as she found her head wrenched upwards with Suzume's camel clutch, putting the pressure down on her back as she flexed her spine. For a moment, Ashley would be staying there and taking the pain, but she would quickly try to get herself out. She had enough experience in matches like these to know how slippery one could get after a good roll in whatever substance it was, and she was ready to take it to her advantage, as she tried to slip her chin under Suzume's hands to roll out from under her! Hopefully, she thought, the jello would make her fingers easy enough for pull away from.
