Victory Conditions: Pinfall, Submission or Knockout.
Grace Kenning.
Sable considered the name once more as she waited backstage. Tonight was her LAW debut, yet the league had matched her against a veteran with years of experience, several pay-per-view appearances, and even a challenge for the Heavyweight Championship behind her. Perhaps her record in other promotions had made an impression. Or perhaps LAW wanted someone capable of keeping its newest heel in check before she could make a name for herself.
Either way, Sable was pleased. A look at Grace’s profile and a few of her matches had told her enough. Friendly with the fans. Respectful toward her opponents. Always ready to step in when she thought someone had gone too far. She was strong, experienced, and quite convinced that standing up for what was right would make a difference. Sable’s lips curved into a slow smile. She could hardly have asked for a better first opponent. Beating a fan favorite in front of her own supporters would make for a memorable debut. And if Grace insisted on fighting to the bitter end, all the better. Sable liked opponents who gave her something to work with.

Her purple wrestling attire clung to her voluptuous frame, outlining the strength in her shoulders, the firm muscles of her core, and her powerful thighs. Black hair fell well past her waist. With her chin raised and a thin, cruel smile on her lips, she let the audience take a good look at her. She offered them nothing in return. Without so much as a glance toward the seats, Sable started down the ramp. She ignored the hands reaching over the barricades and the voices calling for her attention. Her eyes stayed on the ring, her pace unhurried, as though the entire entrance had been arranged for her convenience. At ringside, she climbed the steps and took hold of the ropes. She slipped between them, straightened to her full height, and swept her hair back over one shoulder. Then she walked to her corner. Sable rested against the turnbuckles, draping her arms along the top ropes. She tilted her neck to one side, then the other, loosening it with a small roll of her shoulders. Her gaze returned to the entrance stage.
Would Grace offer her a handshake? Wish her a good match? Perhaps she would arrive with a warning instead. A few earnest words about respect, or how things were done in LAW. The thought brought an amused breath through Sable’s nose. She would hear her out. There was time for that before the bell. For now, she waited in her corner, looking perfectly at ease. Her fingers curled loosely around the ropes, and the smile never quite left her face.
